I had a great experience with Sobia shes very professional, kind and polite. I have tried many ladies before, but no one was really good. The cashier sometimes increase the prices for no reason and they dont give discounts/ cashback every time as they promised me first time I went to the salon. I would go again only for Sobia.

I had a disappointing experience at this salon. Firstly, the test strand wasn’t completed properly, leaving it uncovered with the actual color, which looked unprofessional. Secondly, my hair was curled without my consent, and I was charged an additional 50 AED for it. Lastly, the color wasn’t cleaned up properly, leaving stains around my forehead and neck. Overall, I expected more professionalism and better service.

This is my first time I do my hair with Marwa, I did scalp scarp which was great it cleaned my scalp and I feel fresh, then I did K18 treatment which made my hair so silky and amazing. Really I recommend all 2 treatments with Marwa this she know each hair what does need and very honest.. thank you so much Marwa sure will come again..

Horrible experience with the Henna. I came days before and explained to the manager that I had several grey hairs that needed to be covered with dark brown henna. I asked them to make sure their brand does not make it orange. I was promised it would not.After application of 45mins, because the lady was super slow and waiting 2 hours for it to be absorbed, the results were ORANGE!I highly advise not to come here as they just want to sell services! It’s taking me another 2 hours to rectify, causing me to loose 5 hours of my day for a horrible dye job.Never again!

No good relationships between staff, not cooperative, the supervisor was not able to manage, I was informed to wait for 10 mins then 30 minutes and after 45 minutes of waiting also I didn’t get the service, no one gave any importance even when I told them ( politely and quietly) that I am leaving. Afrina saloon staff who cut my hair disappointed me. They were forcing me to wash my hair which I did not want. It was also not included in the package so they were trying to get extra money for this. I picked for hair cut and blow dry ONLY. I got annoyed and frustrated and was close to canceling the service and leaving when I insisted I just want a regular hair cut and dry, they made me feel awkward that I didn’t want to wash my hair which is not right at all. Every customer have their own needs and requirements and they should respect it instead of forcing something they don’t want just for extra money. So customer service was unsatisfactory with them. I won’t be visiting them again anytime soon unfortunately.

Very disappointed with Afrina Al Barsha !!! They just randomly charged me AED84 for such a SIMPLE design for my 3 years old daughter. Left me honestly really shocked & wishing never going back there again. When I told my friends they couldn’t believe saying this henna made of gold or something?!

I was recommended to try this salon by my friends for their Moroccan Hamam. Before booking, I checked the reviews and seemed like a good option. They also had an offer running so the price point was good. I booked my appointment, and they sent me a confirmation. They didnt tell me to get my own loofah, so I had to pay extra for it. They also take payment before the service. My appointment was for 12:30pm, but they made me wait until 1pm in the waiting room. They gave me a room to change. The lady who did the Hamam for me was very sweet. However it was my first time, and they dont walk you through or ask you for your preferences. Anyways, I remained patient and went with the flow. The process was fine although the scrubbing was rather rough. I noticed that they dont wash the loofah during the process, which I didnt like because all my dead skin was just sitting there. They also try to use the same loofah on your face after scrubbing your entire body - I refused and thank god I did. I didnt get any massage, and the hair mask was put on really quick I didnt feel that it had time to soak. The next day, I woke up with an extensive rash all over my legs, my thighs, the back of my arms, and my lower back. Mind you, Ive never suffered from eczema or rashes and pimples before (hamdillah) so this was a complete shock to me. If that wasnt enough, I got two infected cysts that were so painful I couldnt sleep. The infections I got were due to poor hygiene conditions, and the fact that they dont check your skin type before. Not everyone can handle a rough scrub, I didnt even have that much dead skin. I tried to message them on whatsapp to tell them of what happened, but they never responded. My friends who also went with me suffered from rashes. Girls, I would not recommend this place until they raise their hygiene standards. Im on antibiotics now to help with my infections that still havent gone away a week later!

Trust her with your eyebrows!I love Maryam - she is the best for eyebrows in all of UAE. Her hands have magic. This Saloon (Afrina beauty, Umm Suqeim road) is full of scammers - Stay AwayYesterday I went to this saloon to get henna application on my 6 year old daughter’s hands (two sides)and my nanny’s hands (one side only) and just a small patch on my one hand palm (pictures attached ) . I was charged AED 556.50 for the henna job, its not that I am complaining about the ridiculous amount that I was charged only if I was told before hand despite of asking them on their charges.They do not have the price list for henna job and whenever we asked about the charge they always dodged the question like it depends on the design and despite finalizing the design we were not told their charges clearly, it’s only after applying the henna, they charged us as they felt right. I have been going to expensive saloons too and always knew beforehand what I was paying for unlike this place where they hide their prices whilst keeping the customer in dark so that they can charge you as they want. (Pictures of henna job and the bill attached for ref.). Additionally the receptionist said that the small patch she put on my hand is of Aed 100 whereas the bill she puts it as Aed 157/ for which she said that they donot have any price list of Aed100/;, clearly indicating that they donot have fixed price list for anything and keep on charging based on the how they want to scam their clients.When I told the receptionist that this is not correct she said that she doesn’t care even if I complaint or write review…Lastly neither are the henna technicians that great to apply henna… I have done better jobs for lesser price at many places before. They are totally a rip off and scammers who donot have a fixed price list. I have just read a few reviews and this I just learnt is not only for henna but all services that they provide… wish I would have read the review prior to going to this bad salon.

Me and friend booked a package that includes Moroccan bath and it was the worst experience I’ve had in Dubai so far.1st of all the Moroccan bath lady was very dishonest using some kind of white scrub and telling us that it’s actually dead skin coming off of us! I mean we’re literally Moroccan so you can’t lie to us in our faces…Then I asked for eyebrow cleaning which wasn’t part of the package and they charged me 126 aed! When I asked to see the price list the manager refused to show me and claimed that it’s the price for eyebrow design and I didn’t get any design just a 5 mins cleaning but she wouldn’t hear of it.Finally the henna was so horrible like a little child did it for us.Overall very dishonest place all they care about is overcharging you I really don’t understand how they still get clients at all. Never again very disappointing

I really wouldnt suggest marwa doing hair or makeup she didnt do very good on my mom’s makeup she couldnt do a proper eyeliner its so bumpy and my hairstyle was forced on by her when i told her i didnt like it but she insisted that its pretty and then ritu fixed my hairstyle i liked it sooo much 💗

Henna is bad. Nails was good. Very disappointed with my.henna . Have a wedding and my henna looks like done by a child. Truly regretted why i went to them. Albarsha branch. Pricelist needs to be clear. Nail polish application is 25dhs thsys a rip off. That too not informing customers is not right. Not visiting again m eill stick to my regular saloons cheaper and better services

The scariest salon Ive ever experienced!!! The makeup lady cut my lips and left a mark while using the razor and the mark is bothering me because it is still visible after a week!!! Last week, I did makeup and hair style. Beware, the prices they posted here are inaccurate because they have not mentioned precisely what you will be paying for their services!!! They have various prices for makeup and hair style which you could get cheaper for the same services!! They are over priced and you could get stuck with these prices if you have an occasion, your time is tight and it is your first time trying them! I paid in total at least 1500 aed including I bought 2 lipsticks and with 20% discount Fazaa!!! And even if they increased the price while I was there it is not worth the services they had done for me! I left with a razor cut and mark on my lips side which makes me sad and angry as I type now (although she apologized) and also after the wedding occasion I washed my face and felt a shocking burn on my forehead! I also hated that they were very pushy and constantly coming to me and insisting to give them good reviews on here, and they made sure at the cashier to write the review with 5 stars! I didnt and had one of the ladies there do it for me at that time! The makeup artist and hairstylist werent even getting along and didnt have any respect for customer presence! Very unprofessional of them!!! I didnt feel comfortable with them! I didnt like their attitude and atmosphere so I will never go there again!

My recent visit to this salon, which I had previously trusted, turned into a deeply unsatisfactory experience. Two years ago, I had a positive keratin treatment here. However, when I returned about a month ago, the usual hairdresser was unavailable, and I ended up with someone recommended by the manager.Despite my thorough explanation of my hairs condition, including recent highlights, I had a nagging feeling that they didnt truly understand my needs and were primarily interested in securing a customer.Regrettably, I ignored my instincts, and the result was disastrous. Instead of the expected healthy, dry finish, my hair now looks burned. Shockingly, they didnt even apologize. When I insisted they fix it ,their solution was a 30-minute hair mask and a suggestion of eight more sessions at an extra cost to restore my hair. So they want to make money out of their mistakes.What adds to my disappointment is that they later claimed that the damage was due to the highlights. However, I had already mentioned the highlights initially. Why didnt they warn me about this potential issue beforehand?In summary, my experience with this salon was far from satisfactory. Although my mom, my sisters and I have been their customers, we ve decided never to return. Every women knows how much hair health matters. Its a reminder to be cautious when dealing with staff other than their main hairdresser, as professionalism and customer care appear inconsistent among their team.

This review is not about the work quality but about how the prices are presented . In my today experience I found the pricing dodgy.I had done the exact hair treatment few months back at the same location and was charged almost half a price of what I was charged today. That time before I book I paid a visit and got a quote beforehand. Today at first I didn’t notice how much the lady asked me to pay . I just used my card. After I left I saw the amount ,went back and asked for the print of the bill which I was not provided. Before I see anything the management intervened although she was present previously at the time I wanted to pay so I found the intervention part of the game. When we went though the price after some correction happened I was told that I had a full haircut today . I didn’t change my hair style nor I had done something unusual but I accepted the comment. In the end with all the discounts etc etc I paid more than the last visit ,discounting the additional nail treatment I had done today. I called few places after this experience ,got quotes and also I went to another saloon afterwards. All of them have a price list and range and things are a lot more clear . I think if you opt to go to this saloon before doing any procedure you need to ask for a quote because there is no clear line in pricing and that is how they play it.

She works hard to satisfy customers and is distinguished by her ability to stand out and be creative in doing beautiful cleaning for eyebrows. Since she cleaned my eyebrows for me 20 years ago, i don’t like anyone else to do my eyebrows and i don’t want anyone else to do my eyebrows because, as I said, she is creative in her work. I absolutely hated this place and recommend that no one goes to this salon. The hairdresser told me to get the treatment, I got it and it was horrible . Firstly she ripped off my hair with her nails and brushed my hair incorrectly. Then she put me in this heater thing for over 30 mins or so. When I told her that I had to go she washed my hair harshly and tied my hair to go WITHOUT blowdrying or giving an apology for not drying my hair. In the end I had to pay 600AED with discount, the original price was 800 AED. In addition, they could not clearly state the prices . Overall I hope they can reflect on this and make a change with this feedback.

Very very bad experience I had in whole of my life in Afrina Salon/ Dubai. Manicure and Gelpolish service was awful👎, I never experienced it such as which I had in Afrina for Manicure and Gelpolish. Their services are very expensive with low / awful quality unfortunately.

Today I was met by the loveliest group of ladies. Although its eid timing, the nails and henna staff were so sweet and kind regardless of how busy they were. Immediately they started joking with us and making us feel very comfortable.Shanti, the lady who did my mani-padi, was so kind and welcoming.And a special shout-out goes to Pushpa, the henna lady. she was so funny and lovely to talk to. loved her hennas work, and her personality even more.Had a great experience with the staff.

Every time I go there they mess up the appointment timing. When I book, they say we might be a little late only to wait more than one hour to start my henna and that was only because I fought with the manager. They should understand if they can’t do the service or do not have enough staff for whatever reason, they shouldn’t accept the booking. The second time I went was for a wedding, and they messed up with bookings yet again. Worst salon in terms of organization.

Very disappointing and unprofessional, I called 2 days ago to ask about makeup and hair and informed them I was a bride but want very light makeup and they said they’ll get back to me then called me the next day saying it’s 1250 for both so I came all the way to the salon almost 30mins in traffic after work while very tired as it was the only time I had where I was free for the next 2 weeks, when I arrived the manager said it’s 5k and the receptionist swore that she didn’t tell me a price, now I lost my only day off, don’t have the time to go check anywhere else for the next 2 weeks which by then it would be too late to book with anyone!!!

It was my first time here, the ladies at the front desk were very very friendly and helpful. The vibe in the salon is amazing especially going with your friends and chilling. This isn’t the first time I’m put in this frustrating situation. When I book my appointments, I make it clear that I need 2 people to be ready at the same time to finish my manicures and pedicures as I am short on time. I book my timings based on the availability of 2 staff - at the same time.This is not the first time I arrive, and they are unable to give me both staff as requested - as they also have other bookings - or have double, or triple booked.This means I am sitting double the time in this salon, unnecessarily - because they are unable to manage their timings properly.
