Amro Ladies Salon

The worst hair salon experience I have ever had in Dubai. I will never visit them again. The management did not take a stand to change. Their only concern was to take the full amount of the hairdo, regardless of the damage that happened to my hair from the smell and the terrible, bad hairdo. If I had done it at home, it would have been better than going to this salon. I hope the salon owner takes the comments into consideration.

The woman washing my hair did a great job, loved the scalp massage. Ismail listened to what I wanted and gave me a lovely cut. My only complaint (which was mostly my fault for not clarifying) was that the procedure cost double what I was expecting. A pricy experience so Ill just treat myself once a year.

The best service I’ve seen in Dubai! The owner himself was there and he was so sweet and welcoming and the salon really felt like home. And I asked for a 90s blow dry and got exactly that. Definitely going to be a regular here :)

🛑 The worst ladies hair salon ever in Dubai and I do not recommend it at all. Their appointments are very bad ( Rola Al Baghdadi was late one hour and ten minutes ) and her work is not worth the money paid in advance.Very poor management, not worth the money paid planning to report this incident at Dubai Consumer Right Department !

Although some of the staff are clearly talented, the salon overall is not professional at all.. MUA was talking the entire time she was working on me without a mask on! Hairdresser only half-listens when you describe what you want.. staff talk all around and over you.. and expensive on top this. Also really disliked going through busy elevators and lobby to reach it and then back out. Would not come again.

My experience with Amro Ladies Salon was extremely poor. Rola Baghdadi was late an hour and 15 mins to my appointment with her, and she showed no sense of sympathy when she finally arrived. The workers had a very bad attitude and were passive aggressive, they would do what they wanted and not what i specifically asked for. I am extremely disappointed with this salon, would not recommend!

Worst experience ever. Did the coconut oil treatment that was supposed to be formaldehyde free and organic (I usually do the kerarganic treatment) and was LIED to about how it is not keratin but later found out after purchasing the shampoo and conditioner that it is, in fact the amazon keratin. (FYI, when I heard about the “coconut oil” treatment, I tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything so I assumed it was new). The “best hairstylist” they had literally BURNT MY SCALP every time he straightened my hair saying that “that’s how it’s supposed to be” even though I know for a fact that it is not how it’s supposed to be due to experience. After straightening my hair he was supposed to wash my hair again and blow dry it otherwise it just looks like a greasy mop. And he didn’t. And I asked him shouldn’t he wash my hair and blow dry it? And he said no. I even asked the assistants and they were confused as well as to why he didn’t. EVEN THOUGH I PAYED THE FULL !!RIDICULOUS!! PRICE. He seemed so rushed and kept leaving me for his other client even though I came first? After showering and blow drying my hair I realized that some evident strands were not done right and they were still curly. :) don’t waste your money like I did. If I could give them -5 stars, I would.

I had an appointment specifically with Nawaf, when I arrived to the salon he told me he cant do my hair because he has another appointment with blogger Shahad Al Jumaily and she is more important. The other hairstylist who did my hair was very rude and grumpy, criticized the hairstyle I asked for, finished the hairstyle super quick and didnt put enough pins. My hair literally fell down as soon as I left the salon. I dont recommend this salon (unless youre a blogger lol!)

This is an amazing salon with gracious, wonderful people. It’s a beautiful place and a gathering of people who know exactly what to do to make you feel and look beautiful!

So disappointed!!Went for a haircut in the ladies section because im a hijabi, after sitting down and prepairing for cutting my hair the lady asked me which haircut would i like. When i showed her a photo of the style i wanted, -which was very simple haircut- she said: only a guy can do this haircut sorry i cannot do it for you because i dont know!I mean if your lady hair dresser can do only a couple of haircut styles the least you can do is to clarify that on the phone when booking specially after i specified on the phone that i want a lady to cut my hair. Seriously i just left the salon after what she said.After i was blindly going to Amro Salon and expecting to have an amazing experience, i was left shocked and so disappointed.

I was so disappointed!! I did a hair blow and trimming that a 10 year old can do it to me better !! Honestly I really regularly go to salons and they are just not that good and not professional.My manicure is nice but they charge you more than what they tell you before and make excuses that they use different nail polish that coast more and bla bla bla so they charge extra for almost nothing! I was disappointed and felt used to be honest, a girl go to the salon to be happy and relax I came out with a missy hair and feeling so mad!Not recommend

I went here for a manicure and pedicure. It was the best ever. I was very happy with the service. The nail technician was the best and she was knowledgeable about her work and how best to suit the needs of her clients. When in Dubai, this will be my go to place for a manicure and a pedicure.

Got my makeup done here by Rola, which looked amazing without even guiding or asking for something specific and was done super fast. But the salon itself is very crowded and loud in the hair area, so didn’t consider getting hair done there.

I love love theyr hair extensions (clips) all are professional and friendly , i highly recomend rola baghdadi for makeup she knows exactly what suits every persons face when it comes to makeup!

Been getting my haircuts here for years. I would never change my hair dresser, and whenever I do I regret it and come back to Amro. Even when I don’t know what exactly I want to do with my hair I trust them blindly and 9/10 times they don’t disappoint.

My wife went there, The staff are very rude, second day developed infection in here skin and eyes mostly from the dirty make up or the tools or the hand of the workers , very bad place and rude personal

Staff are worse than it is forbidden to open in a respectable hotel like this. There is no keeping appointments. When I told the girl that I have a plane, she said no, it is half past ten, and when I left and came back again, she said no, we will open at ten and a half, and the employees are here at 11, the last is a serious lack of taste.

One of the worst salons with horrible and very bad treatment. I had a hair and makeup appointment a month and a half ago, and when I arrived for my appointment, they delayed me by an hour, and when I told me I had a wedding and I had taken the appointment for a long time because I couldn’t be late, he spoke to me in an ugly way, telling me (this is the situation, and if you don’t like it, you can go away)!!! I walked away feeling annoyed at how I could make an appointment with such a small world.. On top of that, I left my daughter sick at home, and I traveled a long way to get there in the crowd, and I had a wedding, and I made the appointment for a long time, and the delay that happened to me is that how can I go to another salon to get my hair done!! And this is not the case when he first touches my hair and says, “Why is it so long and not nice?” And when I saw the model I wanted to make, he told me that it doesn’t fit on your face... This is all a waste of time at this hour. Of course, I don’t do anything, and in front of the customers present, everyone saw how I behave!! The guy who talked about my hair and how long he didnt like his name is Nawaf.. and the one who disrespected me was at the cashier. He has blonde hair, which everyone should know, and I wish I knew his name for the second one.. As for my previous experiences in the Mirdif branch, they were not good, neither for makeup nor for hair, and this forced me to go to the Downtown / Damac branch. In this branch, the results were more satisfactory and the employees were cooperative, although there were some comments such as the high price and in the employee’s last visit. He was in a bad mood.
