TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They RUINED my hair. It’s cut in random places. The lady did not even part my hair at the beginning, was ignoring everything I was telling her along the way and of course my hair ended up as in the photos attached. The chair where I was sitting for hair washing was full of hair and looked unsanitary. The chairs where you sit for hair trimming are dirty and messy. They even wanted me to pay, which I managed to avoid thankfully.

If I could give negative points, I would. Last week, I visited this salon for a haircut after reading the reviews. While the staff were polite and friendly, the service left much to be desired.I requested a layered cut and explained that I wanted to keep the length of my hair but introduce layers starting from the top. Despite my clear instructions, the stylist seemed unsure and repeatedly asked for clarification.She began by trimming the length as requested, but when she started cutting the upper layers, it was clear she didnt understand how to properly execute a layered cut. She cut around my face and assured me that the layers would be more prominent after styling and adding curls, which cost extra. I did ask for the styling and knew it would cost extra.Initially, the curls made the haircut look decent, though I felt something was off. After washing my hair at home a couple of days later, the reality set in. My once beautiful long hair was now shapeless and uneven. The layers were poorly done and looked nothing like what I described.I deeply regret visiting this salon. While the stylist was sweet and friendly, she clearly lacked the skills needed for a basic layered cut. I would strongly advise against going to this salon for any hairstyling needs. It’s disheartening to see my hair, which I had been growing out for two years, ruined in one visit.

Absolutely loved the services, Anita was such a sweetheart and did my acrylic nails with really cool glittery ombre. They earned a loyal customer!

This place has disappointed me several times. I kept getting soft gel tips and it would come off within a few days. They kept saying it’s because I have tiny nail beds but I get soft gel tips all the time in the UK and it use to stay. Several times I went back and not complained just got it redone. But the lat time I went I was not having it anymore as I wanted a refund and did not want to wait hours to get nails done again only fir them to fall off. These were also for my birthday so I would’ve preferred to get them done at another place. They refused to refund me I had credit not to another branch but also had to pay for parking so I was still giving extra when out of principle I shouldn’t have. They also spoke behind my back in Hindi several times but I can speak and understand Hindi very well. So unprofessional and so disrespectful.

I went in for a facial, the staff showed me a box saying that it would cost me 300, I said okay. But after the facial was done, she lied that she had used a better product which cost 600. She quickly took the trash out but I saw that the box she used was the 300 one which she had initially shown. I raised my concern to the lady at the reception but she charged me for the 600. I dont mind paying 600 if they would have been upfront about the product and wouldnt have cheated.Very unprofessional.Never going back again.The Filipino staff for manicure and pedicure are really nice and friendly. But still the overall establishment isnt very transparent about their charges.

I got a hair spa, hair cut and blow dry done, Salma was the one who did the entire service, sweet and polite and she made sure to listen what exactly I wanted which is important for a hairdresser. I had a consultation with Iffat for hair colour treatment. As it was my first time getting any kind of chemical treatment done to my hair, I had a lot of questions and Iffat was very patient in answering every single one. She is very knowledgeable and gives the correct guidance with respect to hair colour and hair cut. She provided me with all the information I was looking for. This shows that she is knowledgeable and experienced. Most of all she maintained a very patient and friendly attitude throughout the whole process (mind you, I asked a LOT of questions). I totally recommend her for your hair colour needs.

Today visited for many services. Did waxing for legs and arms and Amna was amazing. However for haircut it was a bit confused situation and the receptionist went extra mile and fixed the issue on the spot. Didn’t like the haircut as it was cut in one straight line and looks not good and no trim provided at the end of hairs. So decided to not go with manicure and pedicure procedures. But definitely will come back for waxing.

Read complete review ..i visited cutting-edge salon for layers cutting, but stylist completely ruined it. she doesnt know the basics of haircut. She did water spray only 1 side and cut the other side dry 😐. i came back with a smile, but deep down, my heart was not satisfied with cutting . 💔 😕i decided to talk with them again . Here, the positive point is that they apologise and invite me again to fix it . i visited again , and their expert stylist fixed my cutting . 🙂 that makes me happy . This time, my hair length became short, but it looks better than before 😊 . i added pictures about her. I dont remember her name, butwanna say thank you to a hair stylist for fixing my haircut beautifully. 💇‍♀️ ☺️At last, i can give 7/10 points . but this salon would always be second in my recommendation list.

Place is clean, the technician ladies are very nice people. But their skills to be improved. I had 4 places get cut and can see blood, one of the hand finger is quite painful. Price is very reasonable and actually on the low side.

This was my first time visiting Cutting Edge as I usually go to Galinas. But due to moving to this area, I am exploring other services. The venue is just like what you see online, clean, pink, and organised. The ladies are professional, but dont engage with conversation much. I had a gel manicure and pedicure, which were done nice & at a reasonable pace (about 1hr 30min). I wasnt offered a beverage during my appointment & besides the gentle music playing, there is no other pastime like a TV. Overall, my nails were done nicely.

Ive been going to this salon for a while now. i used to enjoy my time but in my last 2 visits, i noticed that the receptionist (names sonia, if im not mistaken) kept on telling the technician to hurry up or would ask how much longer to finish. the salon is not even busy. the technicians are great though. such a shame that their colleague expects them to work like a machine. the worktime needed to do nails etc depends on the client. she should know and understand this

Horrible horrible horrible!!!Don’t waste your time going there. I did acrylic refill and this is the situation after 3 days (on both hands - all of them are falling off). Not to mention that they don’t have the appropriate material: she had to paint the French on top of the acrylic and it just looks sloppy and uneven. She made me bleed then forgot and applied alcohol on top. At least she apologized.When I can back and asked for a refund they said they don’t do refunds and offered me a massage instead (??). I called the manager and she was just as unhelpful. Horrible customer service from the beginning to the end. From walking inside the salon until the last minute of this horrible experience.

I recently visited for the soft gel tip nails.the lady who was doing manicure has cut the cuticles so deep that blood was there twice and I got wound on two of my fingers.now after doing it rest all fingers are paining as she kept on pressing it with her hands even though I complained pain.Seema is amazing for the facial and sheila for pedicure.im not sure there is something wrong with this manicure staff.not a good experience with my fingers.wont recommend extensions at all.

Overpriced for the services. I have done below servicesHydrafacial and waxingWaxing service was ok but Hydra facial steps are not completely done and they charge 600 dhms. As a promotional offer I paid 299 dhms for facial. Not sure if they minimised the time because of offered price.Overall they have to focus on customer satisfaction as no one asked me how was the service and any feedbacks to improve service.

It was the worst experience. I came in for manicure and pedicure and ended up with bleeding toe nail and hand nails ruined. They are not experienced and worst after service. The staff was rude. When called the owner she seemed least bothered and said was out of country. Manager didnt even bother listening and never got back. Will never come back. I did hair color with cutting edge. I recently started coloring my hair and not a pro at all with the hair color services. Cutting edge in dso had a great all inclusive package that I went for. It was value for money considering most salons in DSO are highly priced and some charges cannot even be justified.At cutting edge, from booking to the end of the service, the staff were so kind and helpful. For hair styling, Ashita is the stylist you want to ask for. This lady is sweet, helpful and always give options to you in case you have two minds( like me). The way she works, it shows that she is passionate about making another person beautiful rather than treating as just a client and a job. Thank you very much for all that you did and suggested to make my hair look beautiful. Absolutely trash experience. I got a classic manicure done during their happy hour and it has made me unhappy since the last 36hours now. The technician injured me so badly that one of my fingers were bleeding during the service but she insisted ‘I have sanitised everything so dont worry I have kept you safe’. When I got home I realised not one but 6 of my fingers were badly injured. Its been 36hours since I got the service and I am still in excruciating pain just hoping I dont develop an infection. Will not recommend it to anyone!

I had my fruit facial yesterday and the facial this time wasnt as impressive as before. Ive been a loyal customer since my time in Barsha, always visiting the JLT branch where Neeru, the best therapist, takes care of me. Even here in Silicon Oasis, other therapists have been nice, but this last experience was just okay, not like my previous visits.But most importantly I also hope cutting edge ladies maintains cleanliness and good hygiene standards. Its crucial they provide fresh towels, as reusing them for different customers is very unhygienic.

I visited Cutting Edge Salon before Eid, intending to try several services, starting with my eyebrows. Given my previous bad experiences that affected my skin, I asked about the staffs experience. I was told that only certain staff members were available, but while still in Silicon Oasis Mall, I saw staff of other backgrounds in Cutting Edge uniforms.Feeling deceived, I returned to ask why I was given false information. Instead of apologizing, the staff member named Sonia yelled at me and aggressively started fighting with me in front of my son. Her behavior was so out of control that other staff members had to restrain her and take her inside. This humiliating experience caused me significant mental trauma.I called the manager to complain, and she promised to follow up after Eid. However, I have yet to receive an apology or any feedback.In contrast, I then went to Al Marfa Salon in Silicon Oasis. The staff there were exceptionally polite, and I received all the services I needed. I ended up spending more money than planned, but I am extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Al Marfa Salon.I am deeply disappointed with the dishonesty, aggressive behavior, and poor customer service at Cutting Edge Salon. This experience was not only humiliating but also emotionally distressing.

I dont know but maybe i always got unlucky whenever I visit this salon... for 3 consecutives weeks Im trying to have a massage but unfortunately 3x they said its not available... but they promoting their massage and its in the adds slides outside aswell... aint funny for a person who is not near the area.

My worst experience ever.The staff is extremely rude, arrogant & they just don’t listen to you. I took their Meni and pedi and humbly requested for proper exfoliation on which I was totally denied and argued.I was calm throughout the procedure but just felt like leaving it all in mid and go.This is not because I wasn’t given the service I expected, but for the behaviour and attribute they showed.I have been to almost all the salons in DSO & this was really bad.I literally felt so bad about my visit today.There are literally so many better salons in DSO with cooperative and understanding staff. Sonia did an awesome job with my nails, gelish overlay. She took extra care on the clean up and filed to perfection. I wanted my keep natural nail shape, sometimes people overdo it, but she was careful. I wanted blood red, she helped find the right shade. Overall great experience.

Worst experience. Pedicure and Manicure done was pathetic . Fingers were bleeding , nails were not cut and shaped properly . It was a birthday gift for them which turned out to be a worst experience. Very unprofessional and lame excuses were given by the team.

Got my Acrylic nails refilling done from here and to my surprise 3 extensions came off within 5 days. To add to the woes, base colour was also done wrong it was nowhere close to the original base color. So ended up with a different color gel polish over it, just to cover it up. However, the gel polish wasnt smooth at all. It was rather uneven with bubbles on it. Overall a totally messed up job leaving unpleasant experience.

I went to refill my nails it was the second time I was going there to refill my nails this time I noted one of my nails have green color so I ask her to remove it all of them instead of refilling, she was careless doing my nails she pushed hard in my small nail it gave me so much pain that I screemed and moved my hand as a reflection of the pain she keep pushing hard that she broke my own nail from the top till the end in the middle I was under so much pain I had to cover my face to not see all the blood coming out from my nail.I honestly I think they are not good doing their job. Now I’m in so much pain let see how long will take to cure my nail. I think this is very unprofessional.For sure I will never go back there.

Very bad experience.Its my second time visiting this place, and I had a regular manicure and pedicure. The first time I came, the nail polish came off after just 2 days, but I didnt contact them because I thought it might have been something I did wrong. The second time, I had the same service on Thursday night, and by Friday night, the nail polish was coming off again. I decided to contact them this time. However, their response was very disappointing. They told me that regular nail polish typically lasts only 1 or 2 days, as if it were my first time ever getting my nails done! They didnt even apologize and were quite unprofessional. Never stepping there again.

The place is quite good from a vibe and photo opportunity perspective.Experience wise- Post the mani padi, i was disappointed. The feet nail paint for my neice came off pretty quick same day despite wearing sandals all day. For my sister, her cuticle removal was quite painful and the gel manicure machine didnt work properly, so it had to be redone making that nail look a bit off.

The salon is fantastic! Jessy is an exceptionally skilled nail artist who pays great attention to details. Her work is not only fast but also super clean. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking top-notch nails.

Worst experience. I booked for 60min massage but only 40min of a low quality service were delivered. The lady started late, then left from the room as she didnt have oil, constantly her phone rang and had no idea how to do a proper massage. She asked me again and again what to do next and highlighted after every body part how many minutes remaining. She was more eager to have conversation than doing the massage.The room was dirty and towels smelled bad.

Very disappointing service. They don’t use before and after lubricant for threading. It was very painful. The staffs were not cooperative and i had to take initiative for all small things. This is not what i expected from such a reputed saloon (silicon oasis branch). I had planned to avail more than one service initially, but after threading i decided that i will never be visiting here anymore and will never recommend this place to anyone who is concerned about their skin. Even if they claim to give any offer for their services, its still not for free of cost. Everyone pays the same amount but I strongly felt the discrimination they showed in their attitude towards each customer. Even after informing my situation to the concerned staff, instead of understanding my situation and finding a solution, they were busy defending their actions.

I was searching for a very good salon here at Silicon Oasis and I finally found one at Cutting Edge Silicon Central Mall branch. Very accomodating staffs and very good service provided. I did pedicure and Hilda the staff really did a good job in cleaning my toenails and all. I will surely come back for her and avail or try other services that they offer👌🏼👍🏼

I availed their eid promotion for haircut and i must say that it was worth the price. My stylist Iffat was very efficient and was able to deliver what I wanted. The place has a really nice ambience.

What a lovely salon, I had a beautiful haircut done by the by talented Iffath, she listened well to what I wanted and made some lovely suggestions to make my hair look trendier. If you’re a lady with extra sensitive skin and is scared to threading, you have to go to the amazing Seema. She’s given me the best eyebrow shape and not a single cut or bruise in sight. Prices are very reasonable at the moment, and the staff are friendly and kind.

Last weekend I didnt have a very good experience at this salon. I was late to a party and I think that got in the way.What I didnt like was that I only asked for makeup and hairbut in the end, they started doing things I hadnt asked.The person who was going to do my makeup started wanting to do my eyebrows and fluff,with a line but never asked me if I wanted it and how much the service cost. I thought she wouldnt charge me because she didnt consult me. But she did and I was shocked but I kept doing it because I was late.Then when it was time to dry my hair, she said it was dirty and I had to wash it, she washed my hair. I had already paid for the hair but she made me pay for washing my hair. I thought it was already included when I paid to have my hair done. It was my birthday, I felt bad for this experience. I couldnt even take pictures because the makeup melted off and the hair was ruined as soon as I got to the party.

I was so happy with Saba, she was really friendly. Before I started my facial, she explained to me the pros and cons of the treatment. She was so gentle with my face and i was so relaxed. I dont usually prefer anyone but from now on i will book with Saba when i do my facial and waxing of eyebrow. Im so happy with the service.

Honestly, the haircut was just okay. Im just disappointed because for 120aed for a haircut, I expect more from the hairdresser since she said shes had 10 years of experience. No texturizing or refining at the end! I thought after my hair is blow dried, there would be more cutting done because after you cut from wet hair, there are usually stray hairs here and there. But I guess the hairdresser felt it was good enough.And ladies, shampooing is not part of that 120 aed. Its a separate fee. So for that price and an okay haircut, I wont come back again.

Cutting Edge Salon at Silicon Central is a beautifully crafted Salon, I and my daughter had a salon day and we loved all their services, hair, mani- pedi and color! I had a haircut from Shamina( Pardon if I got the name wrong) it was just what I needed, I am bagging compliments since then;) loved it! Plus you get free chai at Khau Galli after the relaxing day! Place is very plush , chic bit on tacky side . That’s my personal view. For Mani & pedi , more hygiene could have been appreciated. All the tools are not fresh from the packets like Sakura or nail bar . Towels were dirty too . I didn’t get my nail polish color , which is a common one. Foot massage too no great . In a whole, not a great place for mani -pedi 😔

Recently, visited this salon and had a very bitter and sad experience. I had went to get my little daughters hair cut. They had refused to cut her hair, pointing out that she had lice and they couldnt cut her hair as they didnt have disposable supplies. Lice and dandruff is a very common, and it shouldnt be a problem for cutting hair. I agree, the salon has a very good ambience and is economical, but the staff behavior is not friendly and up to the mark. I do not recommend this salon at all.

I had a disappointing experience at Cutting Edge in Silicon Central Mall, Silicon Oasis. I went for a last-minute hair wash and blow dry, which was supposed to cost AED 150. Unfortunately, the hair stylist lacked hygiene protocols, used a brush with hair from previous customers, and had no skills with blow-drying. Moreover, there was no acknowledgment of the situation. Though the Manager was kind and offered to fix my hair, the damage was already done, and I left upset. I will never recommend this salon based on my experience.

WORST SERVICE EVER !!I have been waxing my underarms and limbs for ages now and never had any issues ..I don’t know if the problem was in the product or what xx my sister and I both experienced itching and bumps right from next day.. few days later I noticed my underarms got weird black patchesMy skin is naturally pigmented but it got darker after waxing from this salon !!I reached out to the salon stating my concerns xxHonestly I don’t expect or demand for free services but an apologyBut this salon don’t even have the basic ethics to apologise!! I was patient and waited for them to get back to me and explain as to how and why such a thing happened to our skin but I was left on seen..anyways I will never make a mistake again to switch to other salon when my regular salon is busy .. especially not this one

Ashita is amazing. She cut my hair as per my liking and suggested appropriate hair dye and hair treatment to protect my hair and keep it strong and shiny. She is very kind and friendly. Highly recomend her services as not every hair stylist is good with short hair cuts.

If there were zero star option I would’ve selected instead of 1 star… I don’t recommend this place at all they do not know how to do their work neither the nails or lashes … stayed for 2hr and half for very bad lashes and on the same day at night my nails were all very bad like the top code was old … they told me to go to other branch and that the lashes expert is better than the one in silicon but the worse part once I arrived the lash specialist told me she will not remove nothing and she will refill it which is not what I discussed with their manager and they had an attitude when I asked for my refund and she told me to wait till 2pm so they will get lashes equipment and I had an appointment at 11am!!!! I told them I want my refund and they refused and now they even don’t answer neither on WhatsApp or IG … SERIOUSLY VERY BAD AND CHEATY salon and even their manager doesn’t know how to solve any problem 😅!!! The same lady on the reception was talking to me and suddenly when I asked for the manager she put me on hold and then spoke to me again as she was the manager!!!This place is waste of time and money .. none of them has experience at salon

I had been to a male hair dresser in 2020 which was traumatic as he left the bleach on for 6 hours and I have since been suffering from breakage, dryness and frizziness. My hair stylist tried to fix it the best she could but still it was frizzy. I visited today Iffat in Cutting edge and dis Botox and Im so glad as the result is truly amazing. I would highly recommend botox treatment to anyone facing the same problem as me.

The most terrible service I have ever seen! the worker ruined my nails and literally turned them into a tissue. I don’t understand how she could polish my nails with a file so much that nails became incredibly thin. Very bad salon please dont visit it some of the staff are not fully trained service not good i had a very bad experience and they charge too much body waxing not good at all and pedicure was disgusting they charged me extra money for no reason i talked to the manager also but no positive response at all.. the receptionist never willing to give appoinment very poor service i will not recommend this salon please ladies save ur money n find any other salon

Went for a blow dry ( silicone branch), when i went to the seat there was hair on the floor the lady who was doing my hair was brushing my hair a little hard and put the blow dry very close to my scalp which caused some pain, its not my first time getting a blow dry but this is the first time my scalp itches and hurts after a blow dry i had to wash my hair with cold water when i got home overall will not be going again and do not recommend it

Got a Nashi treatment and haircut by Ms. Ashita. She did a really good job. Highly recommend her if you visit cutting edge.
