I know it is very late to talk about it, but just now I had corageous to express my insatisfaction, my bad experience happens in 2022 when I decided to do highlights in this salon, i did highlights with hairdresser victoria , she let my hair completely orange, after huge discussion with salon owner, and believe on me they threatened me to act in legal concerns if i post this review, she convince me to fix again , I did… and the highlights was done just in the top of hair!!!! Rest of hair became was dark , and it became orange again at first washing, I just went to another salon to fix it, when the hairdresser told me i just having highlights half hair done!!!Without any option i had to cut my hair all, and till today I still fighting to released all damage part…

Extremely unprofessional nails and eyebrows caused cuts. Dont recommend at all for these two services. Nails are not shiny and crooked and kept telling them to fix them. Wish i can get my money and time spent back.

Worst saloon ever. I wouldnt advice hair dresser Sofia at all. After visiting her my hair started to look worst than ever. I was need to visit them second time to fix what she did.I am so appreciate only 1 person there it is Svetlana. She did a very good job with my hairs. Photos after visiting their saloon. And the peach tone gone from my hairs after first wash. Supposed to be on my hairs at least for another 3 weeks. Complained about their service bcz amount of money which I paid not worth it. Was waiting for a manager call for a few days. Till now nobody get back to me.

I got to know the salon because my hairdresser for many years started to working there. Its a refined, beautiful and very elegant salon, without the hustle and bustle that is common in hair salons. The hairdresser Angel is specialist in blondes and I am simply in love with her work im short haired and in some places its very difficult to find someone who do a good job, but Angel its amazing with haircut as well! A big highlight for Luisa, a fantastic manicure whose recently arrived from Brazil, which impressed me with the quality of the service! congrats to the whole team. I indicate with my eyes closed!

Letty did a wonderful Keratin straightening treatment. Loved the results. Perfect just in time for the humidity in Dubai. Carla gave me the trim i wanted, listened to exactly what i wanted. Great service and you even get the cutest set of treats with your tea.

I do not recommend this Salon for Muslim women. The Stylist posted photos of my hair on her social media without asking my permission. I am not happy about this at all and have requested for them to be removed immediately. The salon is also extremely overpriced and nothing special. When I visited there I felt like I was conned as it’s just so expensive and not worth it at all. Awful experience.

Its usually tricky to find a salon that is a one size fits all, however I can absolutely count of Essentials for a well earned pamper session. Ive had manicures, pedicures, a lash lift and massage multiple times and I love it. Ive never left disappointed and the staff are so friendly. One major sell for me is the massage, Alona is fantastic and its such a steal. Having been to some of the most pricey spas in dubai for work, I can honestly say, the massage competes with the top. Essentials never lets me down!

Had booked an appointment for my daughter and myself for Hair cut. However a client before us was running late and missed her appointment so they refused to cut ours on time at our confirmed appt and asked to be pushed back by 1hr. Poor customer service. The client who was late and missed their appointment should have to wait, not those who show up on time.

After having bad experiences with different hair salons, I become very careful who to trust my hair with. Marthe is absolutely the best. She understands what I want and the colour turns always out perfectly. Im blonding my hair and it looks super natural, not dried or damaged. Its a 1.5 hour drive but worth it as im always leaving the salon happy and cant recommend her enough.

Cinzia is one of the most experienced hairdressers I’ve ever met. If you want a fantastic colour and a professional who can help you achieve healthy gorgeous hair, look no further.

I just regret not knowing this place earlier. My daughter found this salon on Instagram and she did her hair for the schools graduation and the prom and in both cases the hair stylist Hanna did an amazing job. Then we went again for manicure and pedicure and I was impressed. The manager Growya was accommodating and friendly as with all the staff. The salon itself has a beautiful layout which gives you the sense of relaxation. I compared their prices with the rest of Hair salons and their prices was cheaper. Highly recommend

I had my FANTASTIC blowdry yesterday by Cinzia Cappiello; she started also the treatment to recover my stressed hair and after the first application the result is absolutely amazing! If you wish a nice and very high standard blond, Cinzia is the one who can make your dream happened! And Cinzia advice you in the best way and she is highly professional, if your request it is not good for your hair, she will advice you! I warmly suggest the salon and Cinzia.

Really disappointed with the lack of professionalism from salon management. My pre Christmas hair appointment was cancelled by the salon as they had to close because of CoVid ( accepted and understandable). Nobody contacted me to reschedule when they reopened. Made follow up call myself to rebook .Appointment was confirmed. Asked salon to let me know in advance if my stylist had not recovered. Turned up for my appointment today to be left sitting for 15 mins before I was told my stylist was not there, would not be coming in today and could not confirm if she would ever return. Rubbish customer experience and the situationwas just left hanging as only juniorreceptionist on duty who had nothing to say. Will not be returning to Essential’s

I have curly, complicated hair and a few months ago cut it to a mohawk. The sides were growing out and the mohawk was looking dead. I needed a haircut fast but I was too afraid to go to just anyone. A friend with short, curly hair recommended Carla at Essentials and upon reading only positive reviews about her, I booked to come the very next day. I came in a little earlier and they took me right in. I dicussed what I wanted with Carla and she walked me through what would be done and why and what to expect when it grows back. She adviced me on how to maintain it now too. We were done in an hour. Carla, thank you once again, I am so pleased with the results!

Worst haircut of my life.Im sorry for the business owner but feel I need to share my experience here.I asked for haircut with Hanna (been told she’s good-apparently only color). Asked her to cut it below my shoulder since I wasn’t ready yet for my hair too short (my hair was waist long). Without knowing she cut it pretty much however she wanted it. It’s now shorter than my shoulders, no shape and the bangs I have to keep them in a pin until they grow because she cut it horribly.There is nothing worse than a hairdresser that does whatever they want when you trust them and give them your hair. When I saw it and said ‘that is too short’ she found excuses as if that’s what I told her. Clearly not.Im now keeping it in a bun until I go back to my home country and for my hairdresser to fix it.Incredibly dissapointed and will never go back.

I waited a few days before leaving this review, as I didnt want to write under the impact of anguish and anger. I went to the salon on the recommendation of a Brazilian friend, as I had been looking for a reliable place for days. My nails were done by a Brazilian professional. Right at the beginning, she mentioned that she was new to nail extensions, which already made me nervous. Despite this, she was very attentive and dedicated.However, during the service, I noticed something that bothered me deeply: the professionals shared some equipment, which I found very strange for a large salon. This practice, in addition to being unhygienic, made me question the standards of the place. Furthermore, the result of the nails was less than expected, especially because I am used to the Russian method. The price, in turn, was exorbitant. Everything was charged separately — gel, fiber, nail polish — totaling 430 dirhams. Even though I understand that I cannot compare prices and techniques from different countries, the work carried out did not justify the amount charged. It was, without a doubt, a huge waste.Despite this, I liked the organization and cleanliness of the salon, which made me return two days later for a hair treatment that promised to reduce frizz. Specifically, I asked that no chemicals be used. At the time, I was delighted with the result: my hair was shiny and the frizz was gone. However, the next day, when I washed my hair, I noticed an unbearable smell, similar to feces. I washed it twice with the shampoo I had bought at the salon (intended for post-chemical use), but the smell persisted. Furthermore, I noticed that the texture of my hair was completely changed. I toned my hair a reddish brown tone, but it turned yellow after the treatment. To make matters worse, the strong smell permeated my pillow due to sweat during the night.Soon after, I had to travel to a cold and humid place, and the unpleasant smell continued to come from my hair, which made me extremely uncomfortable. The ends, which were already dry, became even drier. When running your hand over the wires, many pieces broke and fell out. I recorded everything and sent a message to the salon explaining the situation. The response I received was short and somewhat indifferent. They asked me to go to the salon again.Even though I live far away, in Downtown, I went there looking for a solution. I explained what happened to another professional, I believe she was the owner, and she immediately said that this never happened and that the product was used frequently in the salon. When I asked her to smell my hair, even though it was obvious, she said she didnt smell anything. At that moment, I felt like I was being treated like a liar.She suggested toning my hair and carrying out a treatment, but in practice, what they did was just wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, leave it in the steam for a few minutes and then dry it superficially, without solving the problem. I left there with damp hair and the feeling that, somehow, I was to blame for what happened. At no time did they appear concerned or willing to correct the problem appropriately.Hair is extremely important, and a salon that aims to offer a quality service should take much more care and attention. I am deeply disappointed, as I sought help and a solution, but was treated with disregard. Now, I will have to cut the ends to minimize the dry and damaged appearance of my hair. Unfortunately, I dont recommend this place. The experience was frustrating, and the post-issue care made me feel even worse.
