Gladys Beauty Saloon - Dubai Hills

Been going to Gladys Saloon in Dubai Hills for a few months now and never do they let me down! I go for manicure & pedicure and always request Chyl and Angel. Not only are they great at what they do but they always are in the best of moods and so friendly. Im not the most glamorous girl but they always advise me and make me feel beautiful 🥰 attached some beautiful work from Chyl today!

I had a manicure and pedicure, really happy with them. They didn’t cut my skin when doing my cuticles which hardly ever happens. Salmon is clean and prices are great for the area. Thank you!

First time doing my nails here and had an awesome experience. Angel did an amazing job doing my pedicure. She took good care of me. I recommend her highly!!

Came for a regular manicure.Didn’t like the nail polish application and it didn’t dry after all. There was no cuticle oil application either.They played radio on/off -playlist appropriate for the salon would have been better. Washroom was locked with a key and there was no handwash ….On the way out I showed the technician Chyl that my polish didn’t dry, she touched it and smiled. I didn’t bother to re-apply it again.The manicure and cuticles don’t look fresh.Also they told me that only valet parking is available for aed 21aed but there is actually free parking available next to monoprix supermarket.

I did dandruff treatment and blow dry with Mai and she was amazing! Very skillful and does exactly what you want. I also once cut my hair with her and it turned out great and grew really fast as well!

I visited the dubai hills branch and Angel took care of my nails. She is a perfectionist. I reccomend Mary Ann also for amazing hand massages & nails😍MAY fixed my hair color, it was more orange than blonde before and now im in love! I find it really difficult for a hair dresser to understand what i want and She did exactly what i wanted! it even looks better live.Thank you May for your lovely manners and your service youre amazing ! 🩷

I did my hair blow dry and cut my hair with Mai, did a really great job, highly recommended. Went for another time with Sadia, she is really great as well and a hard worker, recommended a hair mask and it was great, highly recommended

Very bad bad bad bad baddddd service. The lady Philippine receptionist, knows how to butter very well. I won’t go there ever again.I have visited for the first time to do my hair cut which was nice and fair enough the price I was happy. But i think it still long and I cut for myself and then realized i need correction, I contacted them and went there. I asked for the same lady who did hair cut nicely, I should have asked the price before even enter that saloon how much for correction, but they charge same as the normal hair price, I understand if it’s thier standers price then, but they didn’t do the hair wash they did not do the blow dry they were hurry to go home and the lady reception is I feel very ackward.I broke my nails days before and I thought I will just go there to at least make it nice from doing gel polish only, I observed that nothing has changed, the price too expensive I guess normally in any places you go, they do the cleaning and shape for the nail in 125 Aed price, but they charging like shape/ cutting/ cleaning? Like seriously? I ended up paying for 115 for only gel polish. And again the nails gel polish also not looking good as I expected. It is very much worse service for me to be honest, no gesture no good service. I regret choosing. I never go there or recommend to anybody. You have my number and name in the system, you can definitely check.

***Reply on 27th DecemberAs a customer, I believe it is important to provide honest feedback regarding my experience. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with how the salon responded to my review. One of the primary issues was the lack of a clear price list, which I consider a basic expectation for any business. The receptionist quoted a price of AED 999 for a protein treatment, which I found to be quite high and definitely not something I’d want to invest in a first time visit to a salon I didn’t get a good vibe from.We ultimately chose the hot oil treatment, which is now quoted as your most ‘affordable’ treatment. However, I question whether “affordable” should equate to a subpar experience. Both the hot oil treatment and the manicure/pedicure were not performed to the standard I expected, especially considering my previous experiences with these services in other salons.Additionally, the level of upselling was excessive, to the point where one employee mockingly remarked that we were not willing to add any extra services which we indeedweren’t because of the substandard oiling service. She ended up quoting us an exorbitant price for a simple protein treatment, which didnt make sense. I kept asking her for printed services menu which she didnt provide. We ended up opting for a hot oil hair treatment instead and a basic mani/pedi. Both services were below average and during the services the employees kept trying to market extra services- to the point that it felt very uncomfortable.Extremely mediocre service from Gladys Salon- what was meant to be a relaxing salon visit turned out to be an unpleasant experience- I dont think I would be going there again.

I go to gladys because it is nearby and convenient..but i’m so glad i found Mai.. she managed to correct my hair color with minimal damage and does the best blowdry. i highly recommend Mai for color and blowdry. Thank you Mai for always doing a fantastic job on my hair!

Amazing salon in Dubai Hills, Sadie and Anna Lee are fabulous for colour and blow dry. Always accommodating and friendly service. I highly recommend Amrita for waxing and threading services. Gladys the owner goes above and beyond to ensure her customers are welcomed and satisfied with the service that Gladys Salon offers.

Had a hair toner done with Mai, and I was super happy with the outcome, she managed to achieve exactly what I wanted so 5* to her.However the disappointment came when it came to payment, (my mistake as I should have asked before hand) but never in million years would I expect that I’ll pay 262.5aed for toner on short hair and that too without blow dry.I even asked maybe they used some “special” product but receptionist told me that this is the starting price which is insane.In comparison other salons(Tips&Toes, Marquee) average 110-150aed for same service.

I love doing my hair by May shes very talented, amazing with hair coloring, blowing dry and toning the hair. Shes very fast and very professional 👏 if you come to this salon ask for her

It was my first time at Gladys beauty salon today at Dubai Hills Estate and i had a wonderful experience. They are excellent and very professional. Maya put a lot of effort to do a fantastic gelish pedicure for me. Jasmyn the hairstylist gave me an amazing haircut , that I really like too, along with suggestions on how to take care of my hair. Thank you so much.Also , Analee the hairstylist gives me an amazing cut.All those who do pedicure manicure too , do a great job. And they have great deals mid week for facials.

Yesterday I had very bad experience with this salon. I was literally 4 hours in salon for nails and massage. Massage was great, but they did my nails (hands) so bad. Manager was very rude and when I showed her my nails she said “it’s not too bad”. After 3 hours of doing only hands nails.. girl who was doing nails for me called another girl for help, and I didn’t ask for anything hard. Just regular gel, correction.I also had to remove gel from feet because I got some kind of infection (and I was doing my nails only in this salon, always).Usually I am not the one who is telling those things and writing bad reviews, but manager or whatever she was at that moment (she was taking payment in the reception), she was very rude and unprofessional. She was not even listening what other people are saying, also there it was one more girl who was also complaining.I paid for everything full price (for my hands nails they charged more than 250 dirhams) … For this bad work I expect money back.

I strongly recommend May for hair, she is very friendly, professional and very expert in hair color, blowdry and stylist. Exceeds my expectations everytime I come to gladys salon dubai hills. I leave happy because if her :)

Very disappointed with my last experience at Gladys. I booked Classic Lashes as Ive had before as I dont like them too heavy. After my appointment was finished, I was shown the mirror and they were extra volume - they looked really fake, were really heavy & were the completely wrong shape for my eyes. When I mentioned this to the beautician - she said its fine, some will fall out within a week or two. The next day one of my eyes was then completely red, blurry & painful.Ive reached out to the salon via Instagram & email but no-one has responded

Salima is amazing specialist, super fast professional job, she got the color I wanted and finished the hair coloring, high lighting in very limited time. Enjoyed the salon and professionals here, will definitely come back.

Angel and Joy were delightful. Such a good sense of humour and kind hearted. Angel gave me a lovely pedicure and leg massage. I will keep coming back to Gladys Salon, and would request Angel and Joy in the future.

Staff members are very polite and provide excellent services.But the manager was very rude and with my experience she started shouting at me in front of other customers because I was 15 min late due to the inconvenience of the salon not having parking close to it. I have never been shouted like this by a salon because I was late due to a reason which was out of my control.To add onto this I let the situation go and I called back for another service. The manager picked up the phone and made a comment about “ are you sure u will be right on time” and started screaming again about how punctual their salon is. And on top of that told me they won’t accept me as a customer because I defended myself while she was yelling at me. It gets even worse each time and I have never been treated like this.

This was the worst experience in my entire life. My hair was waist length and i asked for long layers and for the lady to cut 2-3 cm, she showed me how much she would cut and then went behind my back and cut way more than I asked (6-7 cm), I started crying because i had been growing my hair for 2 years and i now had shoulder length hair ( literally dora ☹️). When I told her that this was not what i requested she got angry and was telling me multiple times it was my fault and that I wanted layers, even though i insisted on getting LONG layers, she then tried to gaslight me into thinking it was long, the staff was not understanding at all, and i will never be going to this salon ever again this was the single handed worse experience i’ve ever had in my entire life!

I did my Nails (Gelish Manicure) with Rizza and she did an amazing job so highly recommend to everyone and as well did a Wash&Dry with Mai and was stunned how fast and amazing she did it. So surely will come again!

Ive become a regular at Gladys across their multiple branches, purely because of the service. I really like their newly opened Dubai Hills branch, nice interiors, spacious and clean. Menu and Joy are great at the Mani and Pedi service as well as eyebrows. Very personable and friendly staff overall.

I’ve been a regular customer at Gladys for the past few months. Despite having moved to an area away from the salon, I always drag my mom to the salon even though she has to drive so much. Given my response and genuine liking for the salon as a customer, I reckoned that I would receive a good response. I got my hair colour done at the place, firstly, the colour palette was very confusing and had weird limited options to select from. Despite showing the lady what I want in my hair and selecting the colour on the palette she showed me - the colour looked weird on my hair. I wanted a rich, warm chocolate and ended up with rough, light copper which looks orangy. I called them up after a day since after looking at the hair in the daylight I wasn’t happy. I drove all the way back there and was in a heated discussion with the owner and the girls for about an hour. They said I was NOT happy and that I wanted to change it to a warmed colour. They said they would charge me extra for this since they gave me what I asked for. This is not even about the money, it’s more about the response you get and how happy you leave at the end of the day. When I told the owner - a lady I looked up to and like - that I’ve left Gladys happy every-time but not this time, she said it was my problem that I was unhappy. Perhaps it is my fault that I went with such high hopes and expectations. More so than being disappointed with the salon - I was hurt. Despite such a distressing experience I’m giving them 2 stars because I’ve always had a good experience here and would like to mention that I liked the hair cut the lady had done. All the best.

If I can give zero stars I would! Customer service does not exist at this place. First of all - I booked online, and based on everyones reviews I wanted to make sure that I am in a good hands. My appointed person was busy with another client (even though her time slot was completely free for me to book her, in the first place). Then, some other lady forced me to sit and started with the pedicure, not the person I wanted. She was rude and unprofessional, kept arguing with the other stuff looking for the girl I booked. Pedicure was quite painful, and I could see she was doing it being angry (with me, with somebody else I really do not know). It reach the point that I have to tell her to stop because she didnt know what she was doing, and I didnt want to be injured. My appointed girl was very professional and nice, except the fact she was 30 min late. But, considering the booking problems I do not blame her, its not her job to manage it.At the end my manicure and pedicure was OK, I like my nails clean, short and without nail polish.I am giving 1 star regarding the overall experience. It was confusing - a lot of girls just walking around, chatting, going back and forth... and everything mentioned regarding my booking. I do not think I will go back. Its a shame because its a short walk for me. They keep loosing customers left and right.

What an awesome experience! Gladys the owner receives people personally and is super hospitable. Alice did my waxing and it was a brilliant experience with utmost speed and almost no pain. Very disrespectful !! Distrustful …I had a bad experience , the salon agreed on a service package before we started, they took more time than expected so I asked to leave and come back in couple of hours and I pay for the services I took and pay the rest once back. When I came back they insisted to charge me full price !!!!I requested speaking to the owner but she even refused to come out of her office …

Very good level of service and ease of booking appointments online or on the phone.I usually go for mani pedis and waxingAnd it’s very very good.They always offer you a coffee and put you at ease so you just relax and enjoy the service.Today I had my nails done by analiza and they’re looking amazing, we finished up with a nice massage and we’re good for the week end!Will definitely be coming back more often.

Mai is the best her blow drys are amazing!

Customer service ZeroPaid for a deep cleansing service and did not get the service i paid for! They only remove superficial black heads!And after calling them there was the receptionist her name is gladys as well who answered and started to shout and ne very aggressive over the phone while i was very calm while explaining her!The person who recommended this institute told me in the service of deep cleansing they used the stainless steel stick black heads remover but did not happen with me!Not recommended

Been going Gladys since it opened in Dubai Hills and it’s been my go to place weekly for either blow drys, nails or massage. Girls are lovely and always work hard

The service was ok but the ladies seems rushed and bothered. They told me they cannot manage my hair cut as they had another client. Then they proceeded to wash my root color off 15 min early to accommodate another client. Exert little extra thing they do they rattle off the prices and add to your account before you can ver realize what’s happening. Sad to say my first and last experience there.

Anna Lee … Hair dresser at DH is just amazing, amazing person with amazing skills, she has magic in her hands.

Worst salon experience I have ever had in Dubai. I came in for a gel removal and manicure, and had to walk out of the salon over 2 hours later due to my nails being so bad. I even had to get the gels removed that the lady had done as they were so unprofessional. They were so badly damaged and filed down that they were sore to touch. I tried to be so patient and see whether the lady doing my nails would stop filing them aggressively but she absolutely ruined my nails. I’m so upset and would never go back to this salon.

After 15 years of going to Tips and Toes, i made the mistake of thinking of trying Gladys salon when it opened in my neighborhood in Dubai Hills. They first told me a wash and blow dry is for AED 115, a few months later they said increase in price it’s now AED 126, and then AGAIN 3-4 months later, AED 146 !! I have never seen a place with such price increases, for hair that is above the shoulder!!! And after many negotiations they agreed to keep it to 126 but then everytime i go back they try to make me pay more! Zero sense of trying to retain long term customers even in the way they discuss with you. The only reason i go back is for MANAR and while i will miss her work, today they have not only lost me as a customer but friends and family who i have recommended. What a shame.

I have used Gladys blow-dry service. My hair is frizzy and untamable. Manar was extremely fast, it took 20 minutes for the full experience to be over. My blow dry stayed the same for 3 days with zero frizz.I am extremely pleased with her service.

It was my first time trying Gladys and unfortunately not a good one. The tech pulled out my skin with hot wax, wasn’t even sorry while I was bleeding instead said ur skin is probably dry! (Its not) She only apologized once I complained to the reception. Paid my bill for the horrible service and never going back.

I rang and booked for my 4 year old and myself. They kept me waiting 30mins and even then they were rude and made sure I could pay before starting - she made sure the lady knew not to dry my hair by shouting it very loudly, after keeping me waiting.after 45mins I sent my son home as the lady doing my hair said she couldn’t and the other lady was too busy gossiping.I have had my nails done here the week before and they were lovely but after today I will never come to this place again.

I had a very bad experience, first the lady I was booked with was busy … second they started arguing that the color might not be good because of the water and my unwashed hair …, so they asked for 84 aed to wash my hair before the color :) !! And all in all the lady wasn’t sure that my hair color would be ok …Anyway i was disappointed and I left the saloon … would definitely not recommend …

Very poor service and unwelcoming; as soon as we walked into the salon, the manager “Gladys” came running up to us, asking us to hurry up and choose a color saying that we only have 20 minutes to do our nails. Was very disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. I personally don’t recommend this salon as I never felt unwelcome like this in any salon

The worst salon, they give you an old color palette, that doesn’t show the right color (so much used, from one customer to another to even sanitized)I told the manager the problem, she wasn’t receptive and so agressive, I said when customer complain at least try to make him happy with a small discount. She told me if you want a discount you should ask for it!!! Sorry, since when a customer ask for a discount? Incompetent people managing businesses without any knowledge in sales or marketing!! Thank god we have NBAR in the mall!I just saw her answer 🤣 hilarious, do you think that I am in a need for your discount? What pricing? You have a post it paper you write on it pricing, I never saw that! Did you read the comments? You don’t have a good pricing! You need to be transparent about it to be good!

The worst experience. The girl who works at the counter is so innappropriate. She told me she priced at 105 without even explaining when on the bill it was 95 dirhams. And she kepts shoutong on the phone. Very bag attitude towards the customer. Never coming again!

The service was good but unfortunaly the owner was very rude and over charged me claiming they charge for washing the hair AED 10 . on the phone they told me a cheaper price AED 80 and when i came and blow dried they charged AED 126 !I wont come again because they cheated me ! I do not recommend. Visited once and wont go again. I chose the master by rating. This is absolutely the wrong way. The master did not take into account my high temples and my bangs are now uneven, wedge-shaped.
