I was so excited to try this salon. After filtering through many different salons, I chose Guzel for my engagement hair and makeup. I spoke to the manager ahead of time to ask about the timing, as I had to finish at the salon at a certain time. I even called again a couple of days before to reconfirm how long everything would take so I wouldn’t be late.On arrival, I had my hair washed and I was told someone will just quickly blow dry my hair as a first layer before I head to do my makeup. The lady who washed my hair was drying my hair before they called her away to support a stylist. I was sat in the chair for 40 minutes, having asked twice when I will start and who will do my hair. I was told by the manager “I can’t pull other stylists from their job to start on you” even though I had an appointment that I arrived to 7 minutes early to just give a small buffer for the hair wash. He even questioned me by saying “so you are saying, it took them 45/50 minutes to wash your hair?”Due to the stress I was feeling on my engagement day, I burst into tears. Where the amazing makeup (Rana) artist helped me out and calmed me down.The available stylist, not who I booked initially. But, amazing nonetheless came and finally did the first layer of blow dry. The manager heard that it was my engagement and told me that this is not what I said over the phone (agreed, I didn’t). And I didnt because I did not want anything out of the ordinary, as the occasion was at home and very intimate. I tried to explain that to him, but he charged me the occasion rate for my hair and makeup which was a lot more than I had in mind when I discussed with them previously.I left the salon stressed (although happy with the work and treatment of both ladies who did my hair and makeup). I left having paid more. I left an hour later than I agreed with them on. And honestly with a lot of attitude from the salon manager.I will not be returning or recommending the salon because of how horrible I felt on a day where that was the last way I expected to be treated.

Guzel salon is the best of salons that I have ever visited in Dubai . I am a regular client there and they always treat as special as my first day, the soft hands of dangly and the warm welcome that I am always receiving from the reception also najib make me feel like the salon is in my home . Thank you for such perfect service and product, I am always gaining such a huge confidence after every time I visit you, as we say women source of beauty is her hair you make me hair shining ❤️❤️

Came back to get my bill as there was a miscommunication. The receptionist was unable to retrieve it until i insisted. When I asked that I was told prices than what I was mentioned in my bill they were like it is what it is. Terrible experience especially from Najib Barakat. Never coming back for sure 👎

This place is literally amazing!I loved everything about my makeup that was done by the amazing makeup artist Laith who made my makeup and skin look flawless .. and Im still in love with my hairstyle which was done by Issam whose work is phenomenal, the most professional hairstylist in Dubai!Excellent experience and the best staff!

The service is great! I highly recommend George in specific, one of the best hairdressers in Dubai! He has a great sense of style!
