Have been living here for 17 years and never managed to find the right hair saloon. I have extremely damaged curly frizzy hair and do hair treatments twice a year. My friend introduced me to Hairlab located in motor city, the expert that did my hair was Lexi. Extremely professional and patient. First did a consultation and then went back for the treatment. I must admit I am extremely happy with the results and can now say I have found my favourite hair saloon in Dubai. Do try them out.

What an amazing experience with the most kindest ladies. They truly made me feel so welcome. After consultation, I immediately felt comfortable to go ahead with treatment. Happy to rate this salon 5* Everything was amazing! The service and the comfort. I was in the chair for almost 4 hours and left with no pain it was that comfortable!Also can’t recommend Rey enough! I did a scalp peel and my hair technician was Aya and her assistant Maridel. They were very polite and professional. The rest of the staff was welcoming and very friendly.They have a good rewards system.My scalp feels so clean and fresh. I had a very good experience and I will definitely come back.

I really loved this place. Its a high quality hairs salon. They definitely are specialized in hair.The lady who provide the service its a beautiful Russian lady (sorry cannt remember her name). She is a very professional person, she does not work for money she works cz she loves what she does. After checking and analyzing my hair she explained everything in details about what my hairs needs.The place is very nice and aesthetically beautiful to the eyes of who visit it. Camila was my hair Tech and she was soo lovely and did such a great job with my hair! I Had a cold therapy and Keratin treatment done which included trimming and dusting my hair.I’ve done keratin treatments in the past but they always made my hair look too flat and oily, this however was the PERFECT level of silky smooth.The service took about 4 hours and started with being offered drinks and dates as well as a short form to fill about your hair.The salon had good late 2000’s and early 2010’s music playing in the back and an overall unchaotic environment which I find rare for Salons in Dubai.Overall great experience, think I found my go to hair salon in Dubai!

I got to experience magic touch of hairlab yesterday and I was so impressed by the keratin treatment they provide! The journey was well worth it! They have diff types of keratin for every hair type, they inspect your hair, thickness, very professional hence u get the silky shiny soft hair. Beware!Misleading prices on Instagram, they will overcharge you on the day of treatment for “extra thickness” even if your hair is very thin and will not measure your length correctly. In the photos you can see how short my hair is and they charged me for length 50 and 350 AED on top for thickness!! They didn’t even try to solve the problem, just said everything was measured properly. Do not recommend, plenty of places around Dubai with clear and honest pricing

Hair Lab. The name says it all. Its the first time any saloon treated my hair depending on what my hair can bear rather then how they can take out more money. Excellent hair experts. I highly recommend them.

I got to know this place from social media and liked the lady who did my hair, (no need to mention names). I also loved the results at first. However, in 6 weeks, my hair has already lost its straight form although I dont wash my hair often and I use the shampoo that the stylist recommended me to use. In addition to that, it was my first time to do keratine and Ive asked her many times if it will cause hairfall and she confirmed many times that it doesnt. Again, in 2 months, Ive experienced hairfall more than I did in postpartum!

I want to share my experience honestly so that everyone here will be aware of what is going on with hair lab salon.So basically i went to that salon without any recommendations from anyone, i just saw them on instagram and i was impressed of how luxurious it seemed.But………I want to get hair treatment done to my hair Keratin for my roots only as im getting it done every 4 months as usualSo i asked for the price before i go and they said for roots is 630 + hair thicknessOkayFirst one lady i don’t remember her name but she was red haired she did the consultation for me and everything she said is nonsense ( they didn’t know that im a dermatologist and its my specialty)She recommended me to do my roots yes and the rest of my hair another treatment ( which is also keratin) but they claimed that it’s something differentAnyway i agreed because i don’t care about the money i wanted something good to my hair and least damage.But when it came to pricing they measured my hair and said the length is 16 inchs okay but the thickness is 10cm!!!!!!Here was the alarm for me that they are scammers. I measured the thickness if my hair and it’s not coming 6 cm !! And before writing the review i got 2 people measuring it the same way they did as well for the sake not to blame them.So i didn’t feel comfortable with them because of the lack of honesty and for what, just to charge 250 aed more.🤷🏼‍♀️So be careful with them and ask about everything before getting scammed .Note: they don’t have parkings so you will keep searching for parking spots anywhere.

They invited me back to check in person, my hair and what may have caused the issue of the treatment to not have fully worked the previous time. The reason was arrived at consensually. They went on to fix the issue, taking time and effort, stopping at nothing but perfection this time around! I am happy beyond words, not only because my hair looks amazing, also because there are honest businesses like HAIRLAB out there who value simple genuine goodness, integrity and customer happiness! And to add it, it is a woman-led business, so more power to you! You have won back my heart :)I have waited 3 months since my keratin treatment here and can safely say it has been the worst one that I have done in the UAE(in multiple salons across Abu Dhabi and Dubai) over the last 10+ years. This was the 2nd time at this salon(the 1st time the results were extraordinary, it stayed for 4+ months, not sure if it had anything to do with the owner herself working on my hair then), so naturally I returned for the service.But even from the first month, it was a disappointment, hair felt dry and there was a lot of breakage, even though all the aftercare was done exactly how I would do! I checked in with them in about 5-6 weeks by WhatsApp when the treatment had completely worn off and they gave me some cockamamie excuse as to how my hair was in its growth stage and hence it did not work and surely next time around they would make the treatment last longer for 4 months magically and oh a 100 Dhs credit as reward! This treatment is NOT cheap so this is not the kind of results you expect.Dubai is not in short supply of good hair salons, I wont return :)

I visited Hairlab for the first time and I m sure it won’t be the last! Staff are very kind from receptionist to manager. My technician Aya was very transparent and explained everything to me in details - one other thing I really liked is that they are not pushy like other salons that try to get you do other procedures or buy stuff.I would suggest going a bit earlier because you may take some time to find a parking spot and you don’t want to be late to your appointment.I did the anti frizz treatment and even got a free trim with it!

The first time I visited I left with wonderfully shiny and healthy looking hair that lasted for around 4 months with cold therapy and Botox.4 months later I returned for another treatment and told them I wanted the same shine and remove the frizz and was told again I was having cold therapy plus Botox but as I was concerned about having flat hair she would not take the Botox up to the roots.I expected to leave with the same healthy shine as last time and straight hair for next few months as I explained I didn’t want to have to dry it straight or just have a treatment that was 1-3 weeks on this I was very clear.2 days later I messaged them to say my hair was more frizzy, dry and damaged and not straight and shiny as I had expected, but they just told me to buy an expensive professional mask and do it myself at home without any attempt to apologize for the misunderstanding or make it right.I am very disappointed and their lack of trying to fix this makes me feel like I have completely wasted my time and money on this service.I can not recommend given this last experience. They clearly only care about pushing you for positive reviews by paying you to leave those with credit for future treatments but if you have anything bad to say they don’t want to hear it.

This place definitely deserves 5 starts. The facility is clean. Appointments are timely. I did a cold treatment and keratin treatment with Tatiana. She was simply wonderful. She was kind, professional informative and honest. She checked my scalp. She was honest in letting me know that I did not need a treatment for scalp. This is my only second day of treatment, but I am very happy with the results. My hair is healthier and happier.

I was very happy with the service - I did keratin and a cold recovery treatment which is just a good hair mask basically to protect your hair before the big treatment. I get so hot and sweaty having this treatment done as it’s a lot of heat and I get nervous. They gave me a small mini fan which I appreciated. I have mixed / Afro / textured hair and I was 100% happy with how the salon treated my hair.

I went to HAIRLAB to save my damaged bleached hair from a previous salon. Tina was the expert assigned to me and she did an incredible job. She was very attentive and had my hairs health as the priority before anything. I was lucky enough to have hair that could take mild keratin (I wanted straight hair) but after she applied the cold recovery treatment. She advised me to go for the complex total hair reconstruction, which included the treatment and keratin. My hair looks and feels amazing, and she achieved what I wanted. Ill be going back after a few days to take the brassiness out of my hair. She truly is an artist!

Terrible experience, run away!!! I have done keratin for 15 years+, end it out trying this salon which is close to my place.The smell when you enter the room is terrible, the product they applied made me cry the whole time I could barely open my eye and my throat was burning sooo much it was a nightmare. I told them this was the first time I had this reaction and I was worried about the product they were using.The next day I was starting to feel itchy on my head, I noticed redness on my scalp, my ears were leaking as if it was burned… I woke up the next morning with a terrible allergy all over my scalp! I took an appointment to the dermatologist, she was shocked! She had to prescribe me with a corticosteroid treatment to be put on my scalp for one week at least until it gets better.I have asked hairlab for a refund (yeah it is also the most expensive I paid in my life: 1000aed for keratin on roots only!!), sent them picture of the allergy, they replied asking me to stop harassing them or they would report to the authority!!!I cannot but warn anyone to avoid this place, the products they use are honestly dangerous for your health it should be reported!

My only go-to hair salon in Dubai. Tried it twice and would never change it because the results are exceptionally great. I have tried before many hair treatments at other salons, and most of them lasted between 2 weeks to 2 months maximum. With hairlab, treatment lasted more than a year!! I only had to get back to get the roots done and rest of hairs maintenance. They deserve every penny. Extremely professional and friendly. I highly recommend 👌

However, my experience with their keratin treatment left much to be desired. During the procedure, the overwhelming smell was suffocating, causing me to nearly choke. Despite having undergone keratin treatments previously, this was excessively potent and unpleasant.Upon returning home, I experienced a burning sensation all over my scalp, prompting an immediate call to the salon. Their explanation cited my sensitive scalp and a pre-existing condition mentioned in their intake form. Despite their reassurances, the discomfort persisted for two days before gradually subsiding over the following month.Unfortunately, the aftermath revealed a concerning decline in hair health. Notably, increased hair fall, breakage, and scalp sensitivity became evident. My hair is brunt of dryness, frizziness, and significant breakage from the roots.Comparatively, my previous salon experiences with keratin treatments over two years yielded no such issues, maintaining healthy, vibrant hair. Regrettably, this recent encounter has left me stressed and resorting to multivitamins in a desperate attempt to salvage my hairs condition.In conclusion, I caution against risking damage to sensitive scalps and urge thorough consideration before choosing this salon. It has been one month since I had the keratin treatment on my hair. The salon was beautiful and the girls in there were lovely. I was told it would be 3-4 hours but I was there for 7.5 hours due to the length and thickness of my hair. I very much liked the final look, my hair was extremely straight and shiny. A problem I have encountered is how often my hair now needs washed. Prior to the treatment, my hair would be greasy after 3-4 days of not washing. Since the testament, my hair is greasy almost every day, I now require daily washing or the use of dry shampoo as it is incredibly greasy. It has been one month since the treatment and already my hair has waves and the ends are flicking. Loved the result at first but probably would not get the treatment again due to it only lasting one month and me needing to wash my hair so often.

The 3rd time im going there in 2 years, so definitely worth a review!I was there on 12th of september and was taken care by Bipana (at the reception), Julia and Anastasia (the hair stylists) for my keratin treatment. Just did the roots as my previous keratin treatment in february was still on point on the rest of the hair (i want to emphasize on that as I did keratin in another place before and the result was nothing like this one...). The girls have been amazing! So nice and professional, they recommended me another treatment for my scalp and could feel the result straight away. I enjoyed my hours spent there and will definitely go again when needed. Thank you!

I paid as per the request and later found out that saloon promoting a 20% discount which is they didn’t mentioned. I got curious and asked about it later on. “I have to follow up with promotions”. I came first time to Hairlab starting June and got my Keratin/Brazilian blowout done. Service was good and professional. Unfortunately post the service once i washed and spent some days my hair result was not as expected. I reported to them on watsapp and they asked to meet. Once I went there they were so courteous and professional to actually understand my hair and my situation rather than being defensive which mostly salons do these days. They really listened, checked, verified condition of my hair and then worked for solution. I am so happy with their professionalism. Yulia and Julia both were very understanding and had attitude to help to make things better. I would like to say again many unprofessional salons do not care for clients once service is done, they do not understand how to keep clients coming back. I recently had the opportunity to visit hairlab for consultation and hair treatment.I was highly impressed by the expert Anastasia and her team.Would like to recommend everyone who wants professional care and treatment for their hair.

WARNING.Update, hair lab, stop the false narrative of people trying to give you bad reviews and you doing false investigations. You better go educate your staff and get proper decent quality products.Yes you were reported to the municipality and you did get fined for the damage you did.This salon did two major mistakes while strainitning my hair. On July 28. Which cost me multiple doctor visits, loss of money, time and plus the emotional damage.1. Their unprofessional stylist broke my hair strands and the owner said they are SORRY.2. I reported them to the healthy and safety department at municipality and found out that they used a product which is not registered in the municipality. The poor quality product damaged my hair.So please factor in the emotional and physical damage you will have by doing your hair there.

This place deserves 100000 positive reviews. This is my second time doing my hair treatment there, i did botox the first time and keratin + cold recovery the second time. The results are amazing both times. The team is so gentle and sweet. Very professional and can help with consultation before starting. I was always worried to do any treatments for my hair because of hair fall and damage but doing my hair with them has only been softer and easier to manage. Thank you again for preparing my hair for my wedding ❤️Update: I still come back to do my roots touch ups for botox treatment with Julia, every 6 months. Still the best! ❤️❤️12 may 2024: i always come back for botox with my favorite Julia at HairLab! This is my favorite salon for professional hair treatments. Thank you🤍🤍

Im highly satisfied with the result of Complex of total hair reconstruction in Hairlab salon. The hair specialist Tatiana made a great job, she explained me at the beginning what kind of treatment is the best for my hair and did a diagnosis of my hair as well. Recommended!

Ok I will do my best to describe how much I am grateful to this experienceMy hair before was extremely damaged, and dry hair. thats because another salon had damaged my hair by bleaching it for 12 hours. I have suffered from depression for 4 months cuz my hair was falling and breaks like crazy each time I brush it. Until I visited hairlab the experts oh my god the service was beyond my expectations. she advised me what suits my hair. I gained my confidence back after months of being desperate. If there is more than thanking you girls ! thank you again and again.

I found hair lab on an IG add and was pretty impressed by the before/after pics- specially the amount of shine the hair post services had. Very quickly and easily I was able to book an appt - and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend cold recovery. It was quick and I was able to see the difference in my hair instantly- it was so much softer, silkier and less tangly! The keratin process was great, the tiny fans they give you are game changers, and of course the stylists mindfulness of you was on point. Nastasiya ( I could be spelling her name wrong) was fantastic- extremely attentive and quick! The rest of the staff were very nice amd you could tell they knew what they were doing. Looking forward to going back-highly recommend it!Ps: and price wise I was also very content. They are realistic and you get multiple things done for a decent price.Thanks ladies! See you soon!

I wouldn’t put any star.I ve been visiting professional salons for 20+ years. This small studio looks great and what I understood is that they are just irrelevant people trying to do therapies, reading instructions and good luck to us. The receptionist first time I called to book, told me yes there is an appointment until I was outside their door, to tell me that a client came earlier and there is no time. Second time I booked for 10am, I’m there 9.55, the hairdresser from “UK experienced of 10 years”, 30min! Later, not sorry at all, and happened to be from Ukraine, being in London for some months; took her 2 hours! to make my hair just straight with the blow dryer. The manager was walking around, didn’t even introduce herself or even be worried that I’m sitting on a chair for 120’ to just have my hair straight for Gods shake. The receptionist in her own world who is the one promised me a professional with experience, she just asked me two hours after if I like my hair.Ps I was sitting for my hair to be washed which felt like she does it first time, petting my hair, my dry scalp was oily next day already. That time another “hairdresser” that looks and acts like a kid, so imagine experience; sat on a chair with her phone in front of the mirror which was mirroring us, taking pictures, but I could see easily that she was taking pictures of me and my hairdresser only. I didn’t witness any professional with any experience in this place, from how the manager does treatments not knowing to put a towel on someone’s head to the kid receptionist that doesn’t even know that blow dry and washing hair takes max 45’ to a professional and told me that if I don’t pay 150dhs for this whatever service, when I told her that our deal was a professional and the appointment at 10am, she told me that management will make her pay from her pocket! I told her well you should because when I asked for the manager to talk to, she didn’t show up because she was busy doingA treatment ! and offered me to pay 100dhs for two hours sitting for blow dry and 30’Waiting for the pro to enter the building.

Everytime I go, I leave with a very happy smile. The ladies there are amazing ,very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. Kristina is always helpful and gives great advice. Ksenia is a perfectionist ,always listen to what I want and I trust her fully. At last after so many years I found a salon that I am loyal to and trust 🥰

I did diamond hair treatment with hair lab, and I am loving the smoothness, and the health that I feel in my hair already. Kristina, takes great effort in explaining the science behind the treatment and how to look after our hair, I am excited to cutting out excessive blow drys out of my life ❤️

It’s the first time I write a review and it’s a very bad one! If there was zero stars, honestly, I would have given them that.I went to HAIRLAB one month ago to make a hair treatment. I mentioned that I want an organic treatment because my scalp is sensitive. The ‘expert’ said that I need to do a keratin treatment but I refused because keratin has very harsh chemicals but she convinced me that it’s a very good product and it will not harm my hair.It took 5 hours to do the treatment and it was sooo strong and my eyes were burning all the time and I couldn’t breath.The next day I discovered that a big chunk of my upper hair is burned with the treatment to the point that it’s shorter now, and I keep loosing sooo much hair everyday since the treatment. I had to visit the doctor for checkup.I’m very frustrated as it cost me 950 dhs for the treatment and 450 Dhs for the shampoo, conditioner and mask and the result is a disaster!!!

The keratin result is good but the pain i went through was unbearable.. their sinks lean on your shoulders because they are not fixed. So be ready for the pain. The building seems so shady.. both owners were nice but lack being courteous a big time. Didnt bother giving me a gas mask and I was almost out of breath as their exhaust was not working fine, nor their AC was working below 24.. sweated the whole time... only the Nepali receptionist was caring, who brought me gas mask and cared.. she was a gem 💎
