I have never been as satisfied as today. Coming from the Netherlands were treatments at the hairdresser was always OK, but my first treatment in Dubai was more than excellent, totally incomparable with what I used to get in the past years.Very high standards, they know what they talk about, and the advice is the best I ever had.The difference before and after is huge.I found my hairdresser in Dubai at Ivy Beauty & Bubbles.Sharbel is a very good hairdresser.

I recently visited Ivy Beauty & Bubbles - Business Bay Branch for a hair spa treatment and decided to get Balayage while I was there the atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly, I was assisted by Mr. Charbel, he was quite good adviser I didn’t get the results I was hoping for because of my hair condition and virgin hair. He suggested my darker option to go.The highlights look good overall, but they definitely need some touch-ups to achieve the look Charbel explained to me. I appreciate the effort the stylist put in, but I think a bit more attention to detail is needed.I might consider returning for a follow-up session within 10 days, as I’ve heard great things about their services. Hopefully, with some adjustments, I can achieve the perfect color!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this salon. The staff was not only rude but also incredibly dismissive. I left in tears after being treated so poorly. They clearly didn’t know how to work with my curly hair, and they couldn’t even do a slick press properly. The haircut I ended up with was the worst I’ve ever had, and they burned my scalp so badly that I have a painful spot that still hasn’t healed. I tried to leave a review to warn others, but they deleted it, showing just how unprofessional they are. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if you have curly hair youll regret it.

Highly disappointed.I saw on social media all the nice hair cut that they do and also it was recommended by a friend who had a hair cut time ago. It’s my first time in Dubai, I came a month ago, so I decided to trust what my friend told me and social media.I showed the pic (picture with a haircut taken from its social media, so it’s something that they did it and know how to do it then) and I told to the hair stylist I wanted long layers and to cut two/three fingers just to keep my hair healthy. He started to cut my ban (which is a long ban but of course, shorter and the rest of the hair but still long - I attached old pic-). I agreed with him about cutting the beginning of the ban shorter than I had in mind. The problem was when I saw him cutting the long side of my hair. Instead of making a good gradient of bangs (from the bangs to the end of the hair) he made a meaningless cut and I lost part of my hair. Now, I have more prominent bangs that I didnt want for several reasons. First reason because, as I already mentioned, I wanted to keep my hair long and there was no need to create more prominent bangs, second, because I have a lot of volume and a wavy hair shape, so in my daily life I do not blow dry my hair, so it’s not gonna look nice like a recent cut and style from a hair salon. Therefore, with this haircut my front part once I wash my hair at home and dry, it look like a mushroom.They tried to fix the situation giving a “better shape”, but of course, the damage was done and cutting more to give the shape would not helped because the problem was he cut a lot. He tried to give me a nice hair style with a proper blow drying to try to make it look better so I could feel better about the situation. However, the thing is not about how I look like at that time, it’s about that hair cut in my daily life is not gonna make me look good and also, that’s not even close to what I was asking showing him the photo about the hair cut.I really felt like they were not listening to me since the beginning when he asked me to show the photo. He did not ask anything or having a conversation to make sure what I was looking for. Even he just cut my hair completely different from the picture as I said so I felt they don’t get any attention or care about what you really want.I used to live in another countries and every time I needed to get my hair cut I did not have any problems at all. It’s the first time in my life I had to leave the hair salon with this negative feeling and experience. I felt sad and disappointed. I just wanted to pay and leave. I could create a drama or scenario in the hair salon but honestly I just wanted to leave because I felt that would not helped me at all. As I said, the damage was done and they could not do anything else. I let them know about all this and about my disagreement, paid and left.But I know this is gonna take time to fix, leave my hair grow it for months and get back to another professional.Honestly, this ruined my day and probably the next few months. I will not look at myself nice for a while.I attached some photos about what I was asking for, how my hair was before and after, so you can appreciate that:- the cut has nothing to do with the photo- ⁠how the hair stylist cut my bangs without any sense of degradation

The welcome was not very pleasant. The manager or main hairdresser didn’t even say hello; he simply asked for my name and told me to sit. I ended up waiting for an hour before the coloring started, and he assigned a trainee to me. I expressed that I didn’t feel comfortable and requested someone more experienced. He then informed me that I would need to wait longer.Fortunately, the situation was resolved by Wasem, a kind and experienced hairdresser. He skillfully completed the coloring and haircut within 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with his work and will definitely come again.However, the salon needs to work on improving customer service and the kindness of their employees to create a more welcoming experience.

I am visiting Dubai from Uk.I got this offer and salon recommendation from a friend they have few branches and i contacted them online . I chose this location as a close proximity to my hotel. My hairdresser was SHARBEL and he did a good job.I would just emphasise on a better customer services. I was not explained the process of how the offer works so every step I had to ask what they are going to do next. I was not asked for any water/tea/coffee so I had to ask myself.They prefer cash payment and asked me to bring cash else you can make a card payment that goes up by 25dhms more because of their bank charges. Other than that they were quick and did a good job in the deal offered.I was asked to leave the review on spot so it can help other customers and probably help their business.Im happy with the results.

ÉDIT: I reached out to the team and they booked me a session to fix my hair and I couldn’t be happier! Ali made sure that I walked out with hair that I’d love. He took great care of me - I’d recommend going on a weekday since they’re less busier then. I love my new hair!I picked the 500dhs package to get my hair done and had a really mediocre experience. I asked for a brown balayage, walked out with almost reddish brown balayage that wasn’t blended properly. I think the stylist (Ali) really didn’t put in much effort to understand what I wanted and whoever took over after him completely got it wrong and bleached a lot of my hair even though what I asked for was low maintenance. All I’ll say is that you get what you pay for - my color started to fade out after just one wash. Getting it fixed on Monday, pray for me!

Honestly I didn’t think about it much when I posted the 1st review did it under pressure as you can see and I cannot say no🥲, honestly place is good staff n all everyone’s super nice, ward was super nice, although I didn’t get what I asked for, there’s a photo of me and then what I asked for lol, they did a patch test initially saying hair was too damaged however I’d expect them to Atleast somewhat come close and not make my hair look like what it already is black :/ lil disappointed ngl.

Yesterday, I ventured into Ivy B&B hotel Indigo. After having had few bad experiences in Dubai, so this time I did my due diligence and checked all the reviews…. 2k and a score of 4.8 on google.So I was looking for to have finally a nice experience.Let’s just say, it was more “hair-raising” than I expected, and not in the good way.My appointment was at 3:30 PM, I arrived on time and I was seated immediately, but then my stylist was still busy with another customer and he served me 40 min later . At first, no big deal—I had nothing planned for the day. Famous last words, right?When he finally came over, he was all smiles, and I thought, “Okay, maybe this is the one, I got my salon.” I explained I wanted to touch up my blonde highlights, and we agreed to stick with the same shade. So far, so good. But then, the plot thickened.Apparently, my stylist needed backup, and so he called in four colleagues, who, after what seemed like an intense debate in Arabic, reluctantly and unhappy an hairstylist was eventually roped in to apply the foils.Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever had foils put in your hair by a reluctant stylists , but let me tell you, it’s not the relaxing spa experience I had in mind.They got halfway through and then vanished. I thought, “Okay, maybe they’re preparing more bleach, right?” Ten minutes went by; I glanced around, and guess what? My stylist was cutting someone else’s hair like I wasn’t even there. Meanwhile, my poor hair was sitting in foils, cooking away.Eventually, he came back and finished applying the foils. At this point, I was just scrolling through my phone to distract myself. But then, I realized, it’s been over an hour since the first foils went in. My hair was definitely over-processing. I asked him to check the bottom foils, but he was all, “No, no, they need more time.”Twenty minutes later, I was finally escorted to the sink. But wait, the fun wasn’t over! There was a cleaner (I assumed) who seemed to be following my stylist around, and few other stylists join the conversation and let’s just say, they looked like they were having a great time. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there extremely stressed by my crumbling hair and the very loud crew. But apparently, my discomfort was just an added bonus.So, back to my hair. As he started drying it, I noticed some of hair breaking off and covering fully the brush. Naturally, I pointed this out, and he confidently told me, “Oh, it’s normal for hair to break when it’s wet.”Um, no, it’s not. That’s the result of over-processing, and I know as this was not my first time experiencing it. But I didn’t want to spoil his good mood, so I kept my thoughts to myself.He then applied the “treatment” that was left on for about three minutes—less time than I leave conditioner on at home. When he finished drying my hair, he looked at it and said, “You’ve got so many baby hairs!” Spoiler alert: those weren’t baby hairs; they were broken strands. He didn’t even realize the damage he’d done.And the grand finale? He asked me to leave a review and tried to sell me some products, absolutely clueless of my disappointment that was visible stamped in my face.Needless to say, this was my first and last visit but If you enjoy a side of stress with your hair treatment, a bit of drama, and a good laugh at your own expense, then by all means, go ahead.They have a very attractive package of 500 Aed, that in Dubai is to be considered very cheap , and as matter of fact reflects perfectly the service provided.

So this was my first haircut experience in Dubai. A friend recommended me to this place and trust me I had the best haircut ever. Special shoutout to Hussain who is exceptionally good. He suggested me options as to what would suit me and I went with it, turns out to be the best haircut I ever had. Thanks Hussain.

Sharbel did a great job with my balayage as it was my first time getting my hair colored and I had so many questions and didn’t know where to start but he picked the perfect color and made me feel at ease throughout the experience

My hairdressers Ali Yousef, Wassem let me feel very welcome. I wanted balayage and a long bob. The hair color wasn’t perfect for me at first, but Wassem corrected it right away, now I’m very happy. I’ve been to this salon twice and the hair is quite nice I will admit. But in terms of service I’ve felt extremely upset both times. I will now never be back. Ali Yousef was my stylist and he was very rude to me both times and I’ve felt uncomfortable during my appointment. One side of my head had foils done in them and then he walked off for over 15 minutes without finishing them to develop evenly. When I asked for him to finish them he told me “I was busy” meanwhile the salon was very quiet and was over staffed. Both times I’ve been to this salon when I go to the wash basin the water is always freezing cold. The lady next to me also had the same experience and brought it up to them. She was very irritated and angry with the service much like myself. Online and via WhatsApp i booked the 500 AED package. I had no cash and had to pay card which was 25 AED extra. I said that I should’ve been informed that it’s an extra 25 AED to pay by card but I wasn’t. It’s such a shame as this salon is on the more affordable side.

The manager Ali indicated a desperate need to re-visit/acquire and sincerely exercise the basics of customer service; business communication and ethics; which simply and essentially begins with providing and practicing genuine hospitality when relating with ALL guests - regardless of how greatly presumptuous your own character or nature seems to be. Biggest mistake was in recommending this establishment. The service industry is a hospitality industry; and performance is evaluated primarily on the basis of experience - crucial fundamental of client retention? This individual was extremely dismissive and rude - praying his behavior doesn’t rub off on the junior staff. Was giving major racist vibes.

Happy on my first experience in Ivy with Hamodi Hair Specialist… Highly recommended for his expertise and friendly approach. Spent almost 3 hrs but kept engaging and explaining each one for my best interest.

I had the greatest hair makeover from Dana, Ali, and Ward, which my hair had been in dire need of for a very long time. If youre unsure about how to style your new hairstyle, you should let them take charge and surprise you with a different version of yourself.

The service was really good here. I had AIS do my hair, we discussed what I wanted and she gave me advice on my hair. Had the 500 package with hair treatments.The only negative would be the time I was here for just over 4 hours. But the salon was comfortable and relaxed setting.

My friend recommended me this salon and she told me to only go with Hamoudi and after going there I see why. Hamoudi did a great job with my hair cut and blow dry I left the salon very happy. Highly recommend him.

I called and asked about an experienced stylist for my momBut a person who was on the phone(girl), For some reason, ignored and kept talking to someone else. I kept saying hello hello and no response. Then I called again and again, and unfortunately, my number was blocked. I have no idea what to say to that behaviour. Can’t properly share the experience, as my appointment has never taken its placeWell, I was late, but I was informing them , the response was like it’s ok. However, when I reach, nobody was by reception, after a while some hair specialist checked my appointment and said, You are too late.After they said they are short on stuff if I have time we can start in 15-20 minutes. I just left. Well, probably the customer service center should have just told me, I missed the appointment, not just ok

Hi. I was in this salon 3 times and used this 500 AED package. First time everything was good and quite quick (around 3 hours). Second time I got a simple trimming instead of a proper hair cut and not proper toning, but I was in a hurry and didnt insist on fixing. My 3rd time was on the last Wednesday and I literally cried there when saw the result: it took almost 6 hours to get burnt and dull hair of yellowish color (even though ash was asked for), very average haircut longer on the left side and the worst thing was highlights. Since they did roots touchup before bleaching, the roots were uneven and ugly, very visible on temporal zones. So, to fix it they applied bleach right on the roots and said it was perfect. Are you happy now? - of course, no. I came up with yellow spots on the sides and it will take ages to let my hair grow to fix this haircut. And yes, some of their staff behave as if they are annoyed with your requests, some are not delicate with your hair, and the fact they comment not in English makes you feel very uncomfortable.

It was a nightmare experience in this saloon. It’s my first time to coming to this saloon specifically in Indigo Hotel, business bay branch and won’t come back again.As the syrian hair dresser named Mohammad Nour or as per him Hamoodi, requested for balayage in a lighter color but refused to do it however he insisted to make my hair roots same of what my old balayage to tone and blend it. It’s totally fine for me since I like my old bayage. But Instead, my hair did not change at all and it just the same as how I came. He explained, but did not do anything to satisfy customer’s request. Ended up wasted my money.
