The salon is super spacious and has a chic vibe. I went back for a redo of my highlights with Tiffany, and she absolutely nailed it! She really knows her stuff, especially when it comes to curly and wavy hair.Also, shoutout to them for offering coffee—I’m a tired mom, so that little touch goes a long way!If you’ve got curls or waves, I can’t recommend Tiffany enough. She’s amazing!

I got a curly haircut here from Rabiah & the styling from Raven and they’re amazing! Every time I would go to other places to get a curly haircut, they would cut it way too short, but I feel like they really understood what type of curl I have and I’m obsessed with how it turned out!! Plus they have their own products and I’ve been using their cream & gel for styling and it’s super light on my curls. Literally the best place for my girls with curly hair😍✨👌🏼

So happy to have found this place.I’ve had one of THE BEST pedicures here ( mermaid ) with the jelly colored balls which was a total sensorial experiance & my feet felt brand new !Had a manicure, the nail technician took her time filing to the shape I wanted & I left super happy! I’d never had a manicure so that was a lovely first experiance & FINALLY the HAIR !Tiffany absolutely “gets” hair. The color I was after & ever since then she has become my go to!Can’t recommend this place enough, clean facilities, always really good offers & staff are super nice & really make you feel at home.

One of the BEST finds in Dubai. Tiffany is fantastic and truly understands hair and the client’s needs. She did my full head blonde highlights, treatment, trim (TRUE trim only) and blowdry. I also had a bikini wax. The salon has a super funky, relaxed vibe. The customer service lady at the front desk was friendly, professional and friendly. I trust South African hair stylists, especially with blonde highlights. It says a lot about Kozma & Kozma that they have five South African hair stylists! Their prices are fabulous. I HGHLY recommend this gem.

I can’t even describe how much I love my hair after my curly cut and highlights! I have very thin hair and never trusted anyone in cutting my hair due to fear of it looking stringy at the bottom, but Tiffany reassured me that she won’t make it look stringy, and listened to all my demands with such patience. She really made me feel valued and comfortable. Also, she’s a perfectionist and that’s what you need when you’re getting a curly cut! 🥰 all good things about this salon! Customer service is amazing. It’s my first curly cut and this salon has special method of cutting and styling the hair. I also did manicure and it was perfect. Rosalina did the best french manicure I’ve had, they are taking their time with you and make a nice scrub on your arms too, you can even choose your favorite flavor.The design is really beautiful and extremely clean, you really feel pampered with their services.I will definitely go there next time for their famous Mermaid pedicure!!! Loved it!

Tiffany is an absolutely incredible hairstylist, you can tell that she absolutely loves what she does and she shines at it. Not only did she take my previously damaged hair (I had dark brown hair then went blonde then brown and then black and then she took me back to blonde seamlessly) she managed to do this in an exceptionally short period of time. Im so impressed, she understood exactly what I wanted, she listened, she was kind and understanding and she truly cared for my hair making it an enjoyable process. Shes my go-to when Im in Dubai and one of the best hairstylists Ive met, I would 1000% recommend.

I Love the salon, especially for natural curly hair. Their prices are reasonable and they have Fazza discount. I had a problem with arrange my appointments, and I posted a complain. In a few hours, I received a call offering solutions and providing discount to makeup for the inconvenient experience. They were very responsive and acted professionally!!

I appreciate the individualized care here. I never feel like I’m rushed, I know their names, and the communication is always clear. The music is low enough and trendy enough where’s it’s a nice background.Jenny is an expert masseuse. Lorna shapes those brows like a pro (she’s really fixed mine!). And Rabiah is a talented stylist who takes her time and it’s so nice to finally have found a stylists who give me confidence back in my hair style.I truly feel like I’ve relaxed when I leave.Definitely book ahead.

As a curly haired ex pat, I find it ridiculously hard to get haircuts overseas as hairdressers dont embrace my curls as much as I do.However Kozma Curls is different. I dont think Ive ever had so much attention paid to my hair, and it grows back in beautifully too.The staff are really friendly, will listen to what you want and make suggestion where needed.Im so delighted Ive found this place.

I was very hesitant to get my hair bleached because I have curly hair. I was worried it would ruin my curl pattern. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Booking was really easy, they took me in the day off. My stylist was the beautiful Kiera. She took her time during our consultation explaining everything very thoroughly to me, addressing all my concerns. My balayage turned out more than amazing, it was perfect. I didn’t have a photo for reference I just explained what I wanted and she delivered. Raven styled and dried my hair. She was so kind. It was honestly such a wonderful experience. 10/10

I have been in Dubai for over a decade and have always struggled to find a place that can deal with my blonde hair in a subtle and beautiful manner. I was so happy today to have met Jessica. She managed to care for my hair in a way I havent experienced in many years. The outcome is natural and I know it will grow out nicely until the next appointment without any brash root lines. I could see the expertise in her technique as she did the foils. The salon itself is super fun and quirky and has a real ambiance of its own. I was really impressed about all the details that go into the different services on offer. Whether cutesy drinks, lattes with cute decorations, or fun types of manicure and pedicures available. This salon is truly one of a kind. The no kids rule is a plus and it was very peaceful. The chairs in both the style and shampoo section were probably the most comfortable Ive ever had. Even the pricing was reasonable compared to the location, expertise of the hairdresser and associated services. I highly recommend this Salon and am happy to have come across it being recommended on FB Dubai Mums. Usually FB recommends can be hit or miss. But this salon is a winner!

This salon is the place to go for curly hair services. The staff is really friendly and the best part about going there is the wall of sweets. “Lorna” is the best beautician I can have, specially for pedi-mani. She is gorgeous and I am blessed to finally meet my best and favorite beautician.Even the ladies here in Kozma are very kind and sweet.

I like the idea of a “curly hair method saloon”, I had fun today at kozma and kozma. Thank you Raven for the service I would definitely recommend you. I like the adjustment the saloon made in the past 3 years to enhance the curly method experience to be more practical to apply at home. Also, it was well explained on how to use the products with so many tips and tricks.As mentioned by the technician that these products are safe for kids. Sulfate free yet still foams to clean the scalp

If I’m doing this review first of all, is because Kozma and Kozma salon has just been A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !!! My first visit in Dubai and I decided to have a haircut which I’m very cautious of as I’ve had bad experiences before. Jodie was the hairdresser who looked after me and I can tell you ladies, if you want your curls to be looked after and need advice, Jodie is the one !!! She’s just been terrific explaining me step to step what to do and how to look after my curls. The end result is just the best I’ve ever had !!! Plus I received a complimentary massage done by Jane I believe. She’s from the Phillipines and we had such a great chat and the massage really helped me relaxed !!! Thank you so much Kozma &Kozma ladies !!! I was so happy of the results that I’m contemplating to pass by Dubai when travelling just to get my haircut ;) Jodie please bring your A-team girls to Sydney !!!!

Was recommended to come to Kozma for my curly hair as so far had not been able to find a hairdresser that could really look after curly hair in Dubai.I was not disappointed my stylist was Sophie who was really friendly and really listened to what I wanted and understood about my hair. She helped me find the perfect colour. I also had the conditioning steam treatment which left my hair feeling soft. I was then looked after by the lovey Raven who is a curly hair expert. She dried my hair and made sure to define my curls with her technique and also gave me a lesson on how best to define my curls. The end results were the best defined curls which was what I had wanted and never seemed to find elsewhere.Sophie then proceeded to cut and shape my hair to the style I wanted.The outcome was a gorgeous colour, great curls and shape bouncy soft hair. The visit surpassed my expectations. Everyone was friendly and the salon had a lovely happy feel unlike others I had been with no atmosphere. I will definitely be returning. Thank you again Sophie and Raven I feel like a new woman.

Okay, so most people dont realise just what a difference a GOOD hair color and cut can make. And if youre a curly-haired girlie living in Dubai, Im sure you probably have more than a couple of horror stories (and pictures) to share about some of the salons here.So, imagine the nervousness I felt walking into Kozma hoping to recreate a hair color which was close to my heart mainly because it reminded me of the good old days - you know, when life wasnt life-ing so hard ;)This was easier said than done because all my stylist Sophie had to go by were a couple of pictures taken during a particularly eventful trip to Europe and my constant request to make my head brighter than the sun :DBut boy oh boy, did she manage to DELIVER!Soph instantly made the storm clouds in my head disappear as I watched my beautiful curls take me right back to the happy streets of Madrid.Thank you, Sophie. Thanks for brightening up my day..and my head ;)

We enjoyed our mermaid pedicure services at Kozma & Kozma. Highly recommend to try this service that starts with gentle scrubbing, playing with water beads & ends with paraffin wax to soften the feet. Our manicurist Jennyrose was fantastic & quick. She was also enthusiastic & encouraged us to take pictures in our mermaid blankets. 2 hours of fun that you definitely wont regret!

I’m very happy with the service and result . special mention to Ms. Deepthi , she was too gentle and did wonders to my hair , brought it back to smooth bouncy curls and taught me how to keep the curls intact for long time . I highly recommend this place

It’s usually really hard for my curls not to be frizzy on day two, but wow the stylist really did some magic. I love their treatments to hydrate my curls and it’s honestly so well priced in comparison to other curl salons.If anyone from Kozma is reading this - please bring your cocktails and candy back! Deeefinitely professionals with curly hair! My stylist was so sweet and professional and she made me feel so comfy. The ambience and the bar is obviously their highlight, and all that candy and options for a mocktail (just one per trip haha) makes u want to come back for sure. My sister and I tried this salon while visiting Dubai. This salon came recommended by a friend, another curly hair girlie. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Rabiah was amazing, she delivered results exactly as our inspo pictures. Raven styled my curls and I was genuinely suprised with how beautiful my curls turned out. Had the most amazing experience with the ladies here. The call centre really messed up with the booking but the girls as always have been awesome! I have been going to them for the last 2 years and can vouch for their service. Staff is very friendly and warm hearted and make you feel special.

An incredible place to experience some hours of tranquillity. And great fun! I had the pom pom monster pedi (my feet never looked so clean!) a mani (that still looks great and unchipped 5 days later) and braids. The atmosphere is very friendly and fun. You get Mocktails and candy as soon as you step in. Also, no men and children under 11 are allowed which is great! The girls who worked there are very friendly and competent

Very cute ambience. I loved it. The drinks bar was a very sweet touch. All the staff are friendly and there are good vibes in the salon. I came here for the curly hair consultation, which was followed by a curly hair lesson. I didn’t like the result at all. The comment I got is that those are your curls and I just helped define them, which is kind of true. Those are my curls and that’s why I go to a curly hair salon to love my hair, but that wasn’t the case. I hated it. In fact I liked my messier hair look more where every hair was all over the place. I know it sounds odd, but that’s how I feel about the lesson I got. I thought I would love it when I give it time. I was told that I can stay a few days with the curly hair look, but after I slept and woke up. OMG. My hair was sticking to my head and the softness of it was gone. I was very happy about how soft it was yesterday. In fact, that was the only thing I was happy about from my salon visit. However, I thought the softness would last a few days. It didn’t. I thought I can tie my hair with the sticky look. It wasn’t greasy. It was just sticky. But I didn’t fancy that at all too. Then, I just got into the shower, washed it and returned back to my messy hair routine. I had high hopes for my experience in this salon, and although the place is cute and cozy and everyone is super friendly, I don’t think I will come here again. I wanted to, but I just can’t. I mean I got to a beauty salon and paid $$$ to feel pretty and not hate my look. I kind of regret the money I spent for that lesson. I am sure others might have had a better experience, but I didn’t.

Used a promotion deal. The deal included highlights, cut and style. The highlights were good but hairdresser left me to cut a walk in customers hair halfway through my 2 hour appointment. The cut was one of the worst cuts I’ve ever had and the “style” was half afro frizz, half stiff. My hair was a mess. Very unprofessional and will never go again.

I went into Kozma and Kozma in January after a bit of a hair crisis. You know those times when youve had a string of awful haircuts. But this place turned it all around for me!Robin worked some kind of magic on my hair. For the time in a long time, I actually said “I love it!” and meant it. I cant believe I finally found my go-to spot and, more importantly, my go-to stylist – Robin.They were super welcoming! its a place where they care about your hair AND your happiness.

I did my hair color with their new stylist Robin and loved every bit of it. She did a wonderful job, just 1 request styling should always be a part of color package and not charged separately as the neither the client nor the stylist can see the result if the hair arent dried.

I don’t recommend Kozma Al Wasl for who has 4 A,B,C curly hair.I did a long research online, to avoid having any preconceptions or bad comments about my type of hair, as is not easy to find an hair salon specialized in curly hair, I even found reviews about the Kozma salon online, so after a deep search and checking social media I got convinced that the salon has ALL the staff with an understanding about curly hair and at least manners on how to approach and deal with a customer.Nevertheless I liked to be attended by Cindy, who did a great job styling and cutting my hair.I gave my trust, and paid for the service. However, never expected to get a low treatment from one of the staff, who was assigned to dry my hair with the diffuser, she even laughed when I mentioned that I felt offended by her comments.I firmly believe as a customer, you should not be asked 4x if you wash, brush your hair, put the person down saying is tangling, asking about what you have in your house for your hair routine in a rude manner, doubting the client when already answered the questions and affirming that yes I brush, I do use creams.That made me so uncomfortable, and clearly missing a training about customer service and types of curls. I wonder if other clients gets all this questions repeatedly??When you walk to a salon, and a product has been sold, there are manners to ask things to the client, or wise to just observe what is new to you (an Afro hair) without showing a perjured behavior.I won’t come back, and don’t recommend this salon.

Loved my experience here! It was wonderful the experience with Aida who styled and diffused my hair. Rabiah did a wonderful job at cutting my hair and making it fresh. And the Idah was extremely friendly at the front desk. Would definitely recommend!!

I am so very thankful for my hair stylist, Ms. Florentyna, for reviving my curls and helping me understand how to take care of them on my own. I am generally quite hesitant to try hair salons but I do not regret my time here as everyone was very accommodating and helpful, especially my hair stylist, with the long list of questions I had. I 100% recommend if you are starting out in your curly journey or even if youre in the middle of it, this lesson and the products will only enhance your hair. Also, if you were to buy at least one product from the salon, I definitely recommend the Curly Hair Gel (kept my hair in good shape even after a good nights sleep).

There was initially a miscommunication over the service booking that was confirmed over the phone, but Shanice and K&K handled the situation pretty well and even offered a discount and second session to complete the service.Was happy with my new hairstyle. Four stars for Shanice and Aida, super approachable right from the beginning, know how to treat their clients well and take the time to understand what the client wants and help them get to a place where theyre happy with their final style.

I have no pleasure in writing this review since I my 1st and 2nd visit were both good experiences.Kozma recently published on IG that they have new lower pricing for all hair and beauty. Upon checking the prices on their website, I noted that the price today for a curl cut and style (dry/wet) is the same I have paid on previous visits. Hence no change to their pricing.

I got my first curly wet cut at Kozma yesterday and the whole experience was so great! They also offer you drinks and a consultation with your stylist is included to discuss your curly hair goals! Florentyna was my stylist of the day and she was so lovely and an absolute professional. We discussed my expectations from the cut to which she responded with her own suggestions and advice as an experienced stylist too, all the while being a great listener which was very much appreciated and I ended up getting just what I needed. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and walked me through everything she was doing. She answered any questions I had and let me know that I could ask as many questions as I wanted if I had any more which was really sweet. She was quite knowledgeable too and didn’t gate-keep any information/advice whatsoever. Florentyna is an absolute asset to this salon with a great customer-centric attitude with the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Ask for her! She’ll ensure you’ll leave your chair beyond satisfied, I promise. :)

What an incredible experience! That was my first visit to kozma Salon for a 🧜‍♂️ manicure and pedicure. I was fascinated by the presentation of the mermaid manicure and pedicure trays. The colourful beads to soak hands and feet were so relaxing and beautiful. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The receptionist, Idah, was so kind as I got late for my appointment. The nail technicians Saliha and Lorna did an amazing job. I am so happy and satisfied with their services.

Only giving two stars because I used to be a client! I dont know what happened to this salon, but I spent by morning walking in the sun and paid parking for nothing because of them.I was going for what was meant to be a relaxing massage. The salon has no parking. Youll go in rounds before youre able to park. They suggest you park at Choithrams and walk 5 minutes under the Dubai sun.I finally get parking - arrive less than 15 minutes late (I even paid for parking). They say they will have to deduct it from my massage as shes booked back to back.Im sorry, but perhaps you can manage bookings to account for the fact that theres literally only a few slots to park? Well done on getting eight customers for an AED 100 massage - while you could have won someone over who would go for one hair service covering all these.I left, upset, not even an apology for the dreadful tone. Never again! So happy I ended up getting a real massage after at a place with amazing service (thank you, TCM!).

I decided to take the curly lesson, hydrate, and style to learn how to manage my unruly curls. When I arrived at the salon, I was given a complimentary drink while I waited. My stylist was very accommodating and knowledgeable. She always made sure I understood the advice she was giving me. She encouraged me to ask questions. And she made sure I was comfortable throughout. When I was waiting under the dryer, she made me a latte and gave me chocolates to munch on. She showed me and explained to me the products she used in the lesson. As far as the facilities, they were very clean and modern. There were magazines available to read when waiting. The receptionist was welcoming and helped me check out and book another appointment. For the service I received, the price was worth it as Ive never seen my hair so frizz free and my curls so defined. I will definitely come back for a dry curly hair cut!

Sarah kept giving me suggestions and checking with me on the kind of haircut I wanted.What I loved best is that they both took the time to understand my needs, concerns and make me really comfortable. This review comes late but this shows how much I liked the services of Gail in the JLT branch. She coloured my hair and I was very happy with the result. Since the stylist whom I had worked with before were not there I was concerned. But she made me comfortable and talked me through the whole process. I also did a curly wash. I would recommend Gail for curly hair treatment.

I was nervous to get my eye brows threaded and my hair done since arriving in Dubai but I read the reviews and hoped for the best. And Kozma & Kozma didnt disappoint! My favourite salon! My hairstylist is Julia, she’s incredible. I change my colour very often, she knows what I want and what will suit better than I do. Which is what every gal looks for in a stylist.I get approached by strangers so often to compliment Julia’s work that I carried their business cards in my handbag. no. joke. I’ve sent countless gals here over the years and they have ALL stayed.I’ve refused to go anywhere else for 4 years, I’ve been in love since my 1st visit. Service is excellent, the whole team make you feel welcome and pampered and I love the salon’s signature touches. Nail technicians are excellent, Holly is incredible with event hairstyling and I love treatments like LVL.LOVE LOVE LOVE

Overall I was disappointed with my experience. The person washing my hair did not seem like she knew much about curly hair and was incredibly rough with detangling. I kept saying my hair is dry and after a lot of back and forth she agreed to use a deep conditioner in my hair which she even said I really needed. Not sure why I had to convince her. After the wash, I was left under the dryer for over an hour even though I kept saying i needed to leave within 2 hours of arriving for my appointment. The hair cut was rushed. The same lady that washed my hair later tried to pressure me into buying products that weren’t right for my hair. I did not leave with luscious moisturised locks like I’ve seen in photos. Note for this branch: don’t accept appointments if you don’t have time to give each person the right treatment. Also please stop referring to customers as “babe” and “babes”.

Finding a salon that treats my curly hair properly is very hard for me. Julias touch at Kozma and kozma is like magic touch. She treated my hair with so much care, focus and patience. She tought me how to style my hair without necessarily using so much product ( which btw I thought is impossible) . My cut looks great and its the third day after wash and my hair still looks amazing and bouncy AND it doesnt even have much product on it!!! Not to mention she has such a positive vibe and a fun personality ❤

This was my first time at KozmaandKozma and I am more than satisfied with the service. My hair was washed, conditioned and detangled by Aida, she’s a beautiful person. She was very gentle with my hair as to not hurt me while detangling. During the procedure she explained in detail as to how to wash and handle curly hair. Then she put me under the dryer for an hour and used the diffuser. Later came Florentina, the sweetest and prettiest hairstylist I ever had! She explained more on how to style my hair and at the same time cut my curls one at a time. I thought it would take a while to finish but she was so quick with it! And in no time my hair was done. She had a look at every angle and cut it accordingly. It was more like an experience than just merely going to the salon. I’ll be sure to get my mom there too.

I always come here to get my curly hair cut/treatments, but I finally got to do a pedicure and manicure today. My manicure was done by Rosalina and she did an amazing job! I was especially ecstatic about my mermaid pedicure service with Jenny Rose! She did an amazing job and was so much fun! I visited this salon a couple of years ago and had a lovely experience. I have recently moved back to Dubai and was extremely excited to go back so it’s very unfortunate that I have to rate it with only a star.The service was definitely not what I was expecting. I’m not sure whether it was the stylist but the staff have definitely changed so just FYI in case you haven’t been there for a few months.1. The stylist would not take into account my views on my own hair! Any curly girl out there knows the struggle to get to know your curls and what works for you. I tried to explain to the stylist that because I have fine hair, gels don’t tend to work well. It doesn’t seem like she knew anything about curly hair as all she said to me was ‘we get trained to apply a gel so I have to do it’. She also said something along the lines of ‘I will however take into account 50 percent of your views’. This in itself was highly frustrating.2. The stylist was not gentle with my curl. She kept brushing my curls way too ‘quickly’ to detangle as opposed to taking her time and ensuring that I had no breakage. I definitely don’t do that to my hair even when I’m in a rush so it’s frustrating that I had to pay someone who didn’t seem to care much about my hair.3. The stylist then went to attend to another customer and even when my hair was done drying I had to wait for another 20 mins for her. What was even more aggravating was her response to me when she returned. She said something along the lines of the other customer had hard coarse hair so it was difficult to comb it! Who says that!4. As expected, she put way too much gel in my hair. Didn’t work well. I paid for the service but I asked the salon whether I could wash my hair there and then. I re-washed my hair post the service and left. The manager seemed apologetic and tried to give me a discount on one of the accessories that I purchased. The stylist kept explaining that she didn’t do anything wrong ‘out loud’ which was just very unprofessional.5. Definitely won’t be going back.

I first visited Kozma and Kozma back in 2019 for the hydration curl lesson, which was similar to other curl methods out there. The products used were questionable due to the nature of curly hair and the ingredients in them. Nonetheless, the products aside, my first visit was fine.One of my future visits was for the dry curly cut. I specifically said I wanted all split ends removed, and thought I would give this service a try. I ended up going back due to the fact that this was not done properly, my split ends were still very-much visible, and I had this fixed using a normal / standard cut. After this experience, I chose to not visit again.However, one bad experience aside, I thought I would give Kozma and Kozma another try and this time take my own products with me. On Thursday, I sent a WhatsApp message to the salon, explaining that I need a stylist who wont give me another bad experience, explaining my issue last time (which I am sure they have on record). Priority being the stylist, not the date. Whoever manages their WhatsApp read the message, did not respond, and it has been 3 days.Simple things like this, especially when it comes to customer service, is quite disappointing. I have decided to go back to my usual salon, and will not be visiting Kozma and Kozma again.

The only reason I am giving them four stars is because of the washing station. It is uncomfortable. It is hard on the neck otherwise, from the stylist to the hair salon employee they are sweet the work is amazing. Jenny Rose gave me the best full-body massage that I have had for years! I asked for a deep tissue massage and she managed to get rid of all of the knots that were in my back and shoulders. She also gave me a fabulous pedicure afterwards!Meanwhile, my daughter had full-legs, arms, bikini and underarm waxing by Lorna, followed by an excellent pedicure!The service at Kozma & Kozma is always very professional and friendly. We have been coming to this salon for a few years now, and have never once been let down.

My appointment was on Friday,28th of October @1:30 pmLook at your system!!!It was quite a disappointment, as the Kozma method and products weren’t suiting my hair texture and style.The products used were very heavy and wore my hair down, also the 100% drying technique ahead of diffusing left my hair with no styling or volume and horrible irregular curls unlike the way I do myself!

Jody did my hair, and I did the big chop, were I went boycutt. She made me feel really comfortable. She listened well to my concerns and fears, as it was a big feat. And the technicality of her cut was also great. She took my requests and applied her expertise and suggestions. Sometimes we dont know whats best for us, and your hairdresser needs to communicate transparently and synergize to arrive at what you want, but with expert opinion. Which she did. I would go again!Additionally, the nail care technician was a lovely amiable girl.

Cherizeh is the MOST AMAZING HAIRSTYLIST EVER, so talented and very attentive to details. I’ve been searching up and down for a hairstylist who can get my fringe dream right, and she couldn’t have done it any better. I loved her work and her bubbly personality!! The overall ambience of the salon is very comfy and all the staff members are hospitable and jolly. Generally, a great experience and will definitely go back there again.

I normally hate getting my hair done, but at Kozma Im happy to be here.. they make the experience so much more enjoyable. I have been in Dubai for 12 years and always struggled to find a salon that understands my curls and can cut it differently, until a dear friend told me about them 3 years ago. My life literally changed because my hair was so hard to manage before, I had no idea what products to use, how to style it, how to care for it. Julia taught me how to do all these things step by step and finally I found someone who can cut my hair curl by curl, rather than just chopping it. I couldnt be happier with this salon and the service and the vibe. Highly recommend it for curly girls and non curly girls too :)

I had an eyelash lift on 27th of February. The results were outstanding and exceeded my expectations!The effect is still there but not as the first weeks.The eyelash specialist was very kind and friendly, she gave me a full explanation of the procedure and was not bothered by many questions at all. I wish i had her name saved to mention it and give her a huge thanks!Should mention that ive been there before for Curly hair lesson & cut by Natalie and shes REALLY GOOD!That place is beautiful and fills you with good vibes. The prices are a bit on the higher/expensive side but its worth the overall experience.Give it a try!

I had a great experience with Raven (highlights, cut, blow dry, beachy waves on straight thin hair). I really appreciated that she didn t rush the highlights, she took her time to make sure everything was blended and looked natural. She is patient, funny and really cares for her clients.

My sister and I used to be regular clients there. We loved everything about this salon until their loyalty points program changed. We also tried the eye lash extensions. It was awesome for like twice but the third time I got severe eyelid allergy and had to go for removal there. They were considerate but couldnt identify the cause. They removed it at no cost due to the condition my eyes were in, all swollen. Never been back since then so I have no idea how things are since the pandemic.

I have read quite a few negative reviews from this salon, which really made me think a million times whether I should give it a try or not.I spoke to Aida at reception and she clearly told me what the kozma treatment/package is consisted of. I even took note for my own record that it would include wash, steam, dry and then cut. When I started right from the start, I was told that it does not include the steam and that it was an additional 100 dirhams (which apparently was mentioned to me over the phone - NOT TRUE)! The worst thing about it is that Aida kept insisting that she didn’t mention it…. And I was telling her that the only reason I booked this was mainly because of the steamer because I don’t own one… otherwise I could’ve had my hair cut in another salon and paid half the price! Anyway went back and forth….. personally found it really poor customer service and she could tell that I was extremely disappointed. I mentioned the negative reviews on Google and I guess I should’ve went along with that and she didn’t care. If this was any other professional salon, they would’ve given the steam treatment as a gesture of goodwill, especially after this « miscommunication » and knowing that I’m a new customer and was extremely disappointed. She offered me 20% off, which I just didn’t feel was good enough. It’s not the money, it’s just principle!I was there for 2.5 hours, Rhea was also there and I had initially communicated with her over the phone. I thought the least she could do is have some decency and professionalism and speak to me to apologise about what happened. She saw me and had eye contact a few times…. And she knew I was there but avoided me the whole time. The second I walked up to pay, Rhea and Aida were both there and Rhea literally walked off to avoid having a discussion with me. Horrible customer service. I confronted Aida about it, at first she kept quite, and then she said « oh she’s gone to take a photo of a customer’s hair  - NONESENSE ». That’s not good enough to not speak to a disappointed customer.I will only give credit Florentyna as she was excellent and knows exactly what she’s doing/talking about when it comes to curly hair.Will never go back! Don’t waste your time and money - NOT A PROFESSIONAL SALON - at least the salon’s customer service. Such a shame!Their Instagram shows almost 20k followers but they only have 10-20 likes per photo…… that explains it all!!! It’s just fake followers.

One of my favourite salons, if not THE salon! I love their beauty treatments and pedi/manis. Always ask for Lorna - she is very qualified, gentle and great at her job....and is the only one allowed to touch my eyebrows in Dubai. Thanks Lorna for making every salon visit memorable.

Ive always cut my curly hair at fifth loft Avenue and they always cut it wet ,they never cut it dry and always I have nice cut ,but this time I tried kozma & kozma with florentina. As they presumed specialize in curly cut !!! They are far from specialist, I had the most disaster hair cut in my entire life !! she said that she will cut my hair dry after she used conditioner & gel !!! Now one side of my hair shorter than the other, plus she cuts from one side more than the other ,so I have alot of hair in one side and the othere one very short with alot of gaps not layers !!!!when I get back to my old salon to fix it,they thought I did cut my hair at home !In conclusion, this salon is a scam, they know nothing about cutting curly hair because if they do ,they shouldnt cut it unevenly .I left in shock ,and felt sorry to tell the hairdresser ,how bad is her work !!!

Julia is amazing! So, I have struggled with my curly hair for decades (including straightening the heck out of it)!!! I have done the curly tutorial and came back for a cut (both with Julia). I will say I was thrilled with the result but NOT with the process (I erroneously though she just loaded my hair with product). However, since the tutorial and I have learned to care for my curls! I will say, the way that they teach you takes a bit of getting used to (and wrapping your head around it--what do you mean you dont want me to use shampoo AND leave conditioner in?!?!? and dont towel dry). But, have an open mind and give it a chance! I get compliments ON MY HAIR--never happened before. Revolutionized the way I do my hair BUT it give it a chance...

My hair is pin-straight and fine , before I came Dubai my friends in the UK said I might struggle to find a hairdresser to keep my hair platinum blonde and in good shape style-wise as I am a natural brunette with a short style. I am SO glad to have found this place . Julia listened to me , found out what I was thinking , suggested a change to my style that would work better in the heat of the summer, gave advice on keeping my style and keeping my colour from going brassy, her cutting skills are excellent and I was delighted with everything she did. The salon itself has such a great vibe , the smoothie and sweeties are a nice touch , all the staff are friendly and warm and I left feeling pampered and with a style I love. That was a few weeks ago and I havent had one bad hair day which is down to Julias skill rather than my blow-dryibg skills, I cant recommend this place highly enough

Lovely vibe and super friendly staff. The hair stylists really know what they’re doing. I cut my long hair for 350aed. I’ve been twice already. They specialize in curly hair cuts but also do a fantastic job with normal straight cuts. You get a free drink while you’re waiting!

PLEASE READ!!!I went to the salon in February and am still fixing my hair 6 months later because of how badly they messed it up.I asked for even layers and to keep my hair long and they ended up cutting the CHUNKIEST layers. The top layer was so short it was like I had bangs on the back of my head while the bottoms later was still long enough to reach past my shoulders.I have never in my life wanted to leave such a bad review before but please take care if you decide to go hereEdit: hello, thank you for your response. This is a real review. I think I had my hair done by Cherize and even sent you guys a message on WhatsApp on Feb 16th to complain. Honestly, it was so bad I was too scared to come back and get it fixed at the fear of having to cut it super short. It was only after I had this happen that I heard from some friends that they knew people who had similar experiences and that the outcome of the hairstyle depended on who you were with rather than the salon as a whole.Also, it is not very professional to assume that your negative reviews are just fake. I will give you a call sometime soon to prove that I am actually a real person and will not be removing this

I rarely write reviews, but I’ve been going to Kozma and Kozma for about four years now and it’s been the most incredible find of my 30 year hair care journey!Before finding Kozma and Kozma - and especially JULIA - going to any hairdresser was a traumatic experience that I dreaded. Other hair salons would brush my curly hair while it’s dry, give me uneven colour or cut jobs, put the wrong products in - and even try to blast dry my hair until it was a big, frizzy mess.Other salons also made it clear that I was more ‘difficult’ to work on just because of my curls and I always left feeling worse than when I went in.Kozma and Kozma and Julia have changed all of that and I can’t thank them enough. They have become like family after all these years; I never expected to feel that way about a hair salon.A few things I love:Firstly, this is one of the most welcoming salons you can go into, in terms of atmosphere. Clean, modern and with a friendly vibe - you never feel judged here and you always get honest expert advice from the stylists. They will listen to you and give you their feedback on what will work best for your wants/needs; it’s a collaboration between you and them from start to finish.Secondly, they are unbeatable in this city when it comes to curly hair. They have put so much time, effort, understanding and TRAINING into curly hair care. They have the ‘Kozma’ method of giving you healthy, bouncy, well-defined and long lasting curls. Best part is that they will also teach you how to achieve the same result when styling your hair at home.Thirdly, they do dry cuts! That means, they’ll wash and hydrate your hair, allow it to dry into its natural position, and then cut it dry so that you don’t have any surprises later on. This allows you to get a cut that perfectly suits your curl pattern, texture, etc.On a personal note, I get bored often with my hair colour and like to change it up often. Julia has given me all kinds of incredible looks. Whether its mermaid pink or bright blonde or, most recently, a more natural ‘bronde’ (brunette/blonde).Now really... I CAN’T RECOMMEND KOZMA ENOUGH. Especially if you have curly hair. Theres no other place in the city that has treated my curls right. (Worth noting, I’ve also recommended Kozma to two colleagues with straight hair and they have become regular costumers as well!)So, thank you Kozma and Kozma and thank you to Julia for always treating my hair with the utmost care and making my wildest hair dreams come true. Creative, friendly and affordable - after so many near-misses with the Haircut from Hell, I found Kozma and Natalie. Shes always full of ideas on how to create the look I love, while keeping my hair in great condition and my budget expectations managed. In a fast-moving city, its nice to take time out somewhere youre always welcomed and treated fondly by all the team. The loyalty scheme is a great idea too - keeps me coming back for more!

The salon has amazing talent! Cherizeh gave me a fantastic haircut and did a beautiful balayage colour. She went the extra mile in ensuring my stubborn roots obey to her command of blending in.I was there for 3 hours which flew by thanks to Cherizehs bubbly personality and there was never a dull moment!Raven styled my hair and was ever so patient with my hair to make sure i leave the salon very happy.I am a Kozma & Kozma convert thanks to Cherizeh and will be returning soon for my top up.The salon maintained high cleanliness standards and social distancing amongst customers.I was treated as a valued customer despite it being my first time at Kozma & Kozma unlike my previous disastrous experience at Beauty and bubbles!The haircut and colour knocked off the drab hairstyle i was wearing and has made me look much younger and fun loving..A much needed change for summer!A big thank you to Cherizeh and Raven.

Horrible. after all the good feedback i read about yasmine. I went for my haircut with her. I have never met a hair stylist that is rude as her and the haircut was horrible.she treats u like her worst enemy. i went out of the salon feeling horrible and beat down. clients should go out feelingconfident and happy. with all the comments she gives u in that hour you feel terrible after your visit. I enjoyed my first few times with other stylists before but after this time i dont think ill go back there🤢

It was my first time at this salon. It strictly follows the Covid rules, therefore I was comfortable in being there. Holly was really great: she listened carefully to my cut request and said it back to me, confirming my request (so to avoid misunderstandings - I was asking for an out-of-fashion cut). Holly did a brilliant job, very professional, soft touch on my head. Even my friends were impressed by the cut when they saw me! Thank you Holly!

My favourite hair salon. They really know how to handle curly hair, and the hairstylist are very professional and talk you through the process. All their staff are super sweet and friendly. And the complementary drinks and candy are an extra nice touch.

Was exactly what I was looking for! Very friendly staff welcoming with a lovely drink and candies that made me feel like a teen again. The curly lesson was intensive but taught me everything I needed to know (with wonderful results!). Definitely recommended to try it if you need to learn how to hydrate and manage your curly locks.

Everyone is so friendly and my hair is amazing, its exactly what I asked for, the stylist listened to me carefully and went into detail through our consultation on how she would achieve the look I wanted, and the final result is fabulous Thank you 🤗😊😍

Im not the best girlie-girl and dont manage to do the salon thing very often. So my prior experience with Dubai salons have generally been quite hit and miss. I went with low expectations and was blown away with such a great experience! The stylist took the time to talk to me to find out what my eventual vision for my hair was, the products I use, how I normally wear my hair most days, even what I do with my hair when I sleep... And then managed to deliver exactly what I wanted! My hair looks amazing, I cant stop looking at it! Definitely going back to keep this look and condition going, I even bought a few products recommended that make it easy for me to get the same results at home. While I was there I also threw in a mani-pedi which were both top notch. I might just be a salon convert! :)

Honestly I’m very disappointed on haw they treat the new clients !!. I booked an appointment for consultation to check if I can apply the curly hair style on my hair since I use to apply the kératine. First of all I was at time but I wait for the lady for like 20 min and then when she comes to me I think she gives me 5 min from her time and the worst she treat me with arrogance !!! Unfortunately She dosent show respect or care and even I couldn’t explain what I want or understand a word from her!!! I really felt bad after this experience and I’m really very disappointed about her unprofessional and cold behavior !!!! All what I can say I will never think to go there ever in my life

I really like this place. Good customer service, communication, and follow through. I had eye lash, nails, and hair services and all beauticians seem well trained. Beautiful salon with free mocktails and candy bar which is just the cherry on top of the quality service and great customer service. Their staff all seem to enjoy their work and that makes a difference. Their services are well priced compared to other salons. But I do wish they had more special offers. If I could afford it, Id be there every week.

If you are looking for fun pedi or mani that’s a great place to go, since they are mostly focused on unique types of manicure and pedicure. But if you are looking for a great quality, I wouldn’t recommend Kozma and Kozma. The lady that was doing my manicure cut me 3 times and the mask on my feet was supposed to stay for 5-7 min yet it was there for 20. My feet were freezing and there was no one around. The pedicure it’s self was terrible! She cut half on my nail off leaving it curvy and weird looking. The way she applied gel polish is even worse, because it was only half of the nail that was covered with nail polish. Also I took a look on how they clean the tub after one woman had her pedicure done. Well, all they did was only go around with sponge and soap. So in conclusion if you want you manicure and pedicure done professionally and you care not only about the process but also about results, then I wouldn’t recommend. But if you are looking for something fun and unique, maybe yes.

I am editing my review as my experience with the hair stylist Cherizeh was horrible.She started 20 mns late. And then there was no attention given at all she was attending multiple clients at same time.i have curly hair and i had lot of curiosity and excitement to get my hair colour but she shattered my excitement. She bleached my eyebrows while colouring my hair and then got my eyebrows coloured. Extremely careless and irresponsible when I reached home i also realised she has bleached my eyelashes.During the wash she asked another lady who was cleaning the floor there to wash my hair out this lady was totally unaware of using the tangle teaser brush and had no clue how to wash the hair..I got super annoyed by then and asked them to stop doing anything further and water was dripping of my hair and I wanted leave then the receptionist and the salon manager tried to pacify me. Its extremely disappointing to visit a salon like this who claim to have expertise in curly hair but not the right approach towards the clients.

I got my hair color done from here. I loved the service. Had gone for blue color. The 4 hours they served with lots of care and their complimentary drinks and candies.. It was a lovey me time. Ive also done signature pedicure twice... It was amazing. Ive also redeemed their rewards as im a prt pf the rewards system. I akways have recommended kozma to al the curly girsl i know.

I have been going to Kozma and Kozma since October 2019, I really enjoy the Curly Hair Hydration service with Cherizeh and their nails services with Saliha.Saliha is very calm and professional, she has healing energies that you will absolutely LOVE.Cherizeh has a beautiful playful spirit, I usually ask for her whenever I want to have a curly haircut.I recommend both ladies if you consider going to Kozma and Kozma

Really recommend the kozma curly cut for anyone with curly hair. They understand your needs and what you want and are always willing to listen in order to make sure you walk out happy with your curls! The stylists also take their time and show you what you should do at home. Also love their products- especially their defining gel, its not harsh or hard on my hair and my curls stay defined and bouncy - even in the UAE summer!

Great salon that is absolutely fabulous for curly hair. They teach you how to properly look after your curls and keep your hair healthy and looking great. I have been using this salon for the past 3 years.

This salon is a classical case of what i ordered VS what i got BUT AT A RIDICULOUSLY COSTLY PRICE!They have not the slightest idea about type 4 hair. My daughter had requested for a silk press but what she got was a blowdry and pathetic straightening done once with no shine nor gloss! This press was supposed to be for her graduation!!!!Mine was another story for the gods. I requested the kozma style session and i got a wash, stayed under the dryer and bam, was told i was done!For these pathetic services, we were charged 940dhs!!!!This is the worst fraud ever committed in the history of salons, even worst than Hushpuppi. Because now, my daughter still has no hairstyle for her graduation and im left to wear a wig again, YET WE PAID ALMOST 1000DHS!I hope you are able to sleep well at night with this scam going on in your salon! SHAME!
