Nairobi is the best for waxing and threading. For someone who used to dread waxing because of fear of pain, I look forward to my appointments with Nairobi. She is fast, well experienced and trained to make waxing less painful. I will always come back for Nairobi. She is professional, kind and truly cares about her customer’s experience and wellbeing. I visit Layover saloon at Silicon oasis quite often.This time I went for brow tinting and a massage.I was with Nora , she was very professional and kind . Made the atmosphere so good with her smile.The massage was a deep tissue massage and was the perfect power in it , it was really relaxing.I recommend the place and the professional , Nora.

Rarely a good experience. Going there less and less.Although I had an one-time good service experience, staff are mostly unprofessional and immature. As already mentioned here by someone else, they keep talking to each other in Tagalog and making fun of customers in front of them, without any shame.In the beggining I was going for threading but stopped when they would immaturely look at each other and laugh if I asked to remove hair left behind. I now prefer to go somewhere else or just do it by myself, other than paying to feel like I am being done a favor.I was also once completely ignored by the technician from the start. Its ok, shes not there to please me. I even prefer to mind my own business during pedicure but at least being acknowledged with a hi would be a start for a good customer service.Lately I went for pedicure again with another technician. It was painful and left wounds I am trying to heal until now. Hoping the tools were properly sterilized before me. Guess Im not going for pedicure anymore either.

The place is cozy, organized, and cleanedI went there for a manicure and pedicure. The work is done properly and well by 2 nail techniciansHowever, when the technician came to me she was on the phone watching something out loud and did not say hello or look welcoming to me. For me that is unprofessional and it shouldnt be like that in this kind of place. She appears to be talking out loud while doing my nail and talking about another customer ( she making fun of her)This is a bad manner and needs to be addressed asap by the owner

Came for a hard gel manicure and the experience itself was disappointing, as the lady removed only a small layer of my previous gel and added a thin new layer on top. Of course now after one week, 2 of my nails fell off painfully. I have to recommend to avoid this salon.

My spouse had availed the hair protein treatment services provided by the salon supervisor, Ms. Berlin, for a duration of almost four hours. I am pleased to mention that Ms. Berlin carried out her job with great professionalism and expertise in the field of hair treatments. The salon was also very clean, and all the tools and equipment used were sterilized. The staff members were courteous and displayed exemplary professional conduct. The services offered were of excellent quality, and the pricing was very economical. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone seeking high-quality hair treatments.

I always come here to get a blowdry by Berlin. She is the best. Since I have very curly and frizzy hair she always touches the blowdry up with the flat iron for an extra sleek look.She also knows how to braid hair and has created some very cute hairstyles for me. If I didn’t like a certain hairstyle she had no issues to try another one. She is very lovely and patient and I feel very very comfortable with her.Sometimes I bring me own hair products with me (shampoo, masks, hair clips etc) and they have no issues using them.They always offer me coffee or other beverages and have wifi available.

I had hair cut restyle service and blow dry, the Philippina hairstylist is amazing, my hair was damaged and she knew exactly what i want and what needed to be fixed 👍👏👏👏Receptionist is very friendly and helpful.For sure i recommend this salon ✔️Well done keep it upThanks ❤️❤️

I went for acrylic removal and nail extension with acrylic 10 days ago. 3 days after my visit my nails tips started to crack, a week after they cracked from the side. I have been using acrylic for 4 years, and I have never had this experience. She used a very thin layer which made quite easy to crack, apart from the cuts on the side of my nails. I couldnt go back to complain as my car was broken, but when I did after 10 days I have been told that only the cracked nail from the side ( 3 were cracked, but this one nail was very obvious) can be fixed for free. I was very disapointed. I was not planning to get it fixed there. I have booked an appointment in another salon, but I wanted to see an action from them. They havent taken this issue seriously. I paid 260 aed for my nails to get damaged within 10 days. Very poor service!

Please save your money .Service is very poor , technicians are very inexperienced, their job is very poor.Went for a manicure removal , she took one hour and twenty minutes just to remove the acrylic I had and I got charged 130 aed!So basically it’s cheaper to get Fresh manicure than a removal .I really felt scammed

Personal is really nice and welcoming but it ends there. I got my manicure there and it was the worst one I ever had in my life. The lady who did my nails hurted me, my nails were bleeding and she was putting alcohol on the bleeding parts so much I was feeling dizzy and almost fainted. Had to go to another salon and redo my nails the next day. Im sorry but never again.

That was the worst mani and pedi I ever experienced😭 When they were removing my hard gel, they did it painfully. So my nails became super thin. Afterwards they hurt me so much, that my blood came out. I just really hope they used properly sterilised equipment. I’m not even talking about quality and accuracy of my nails! It’s absolute disaster 😭😭 never ever again!

I was there last Tuesday I had a very good experience 😄 i did regular mani and pedicure with Athens I just liked the way how she’s working and actually all the stuff where very friendly ; It was my first experience and for sure it’s not the last.

First time i booked for hard gel was amazing, second time i had a diffrent technicien she was working like she was doing me a favor and rude, i dont remember her name but because of her i dont want to go back to the salon again

I am very happy with the services that the Layover salon provides. I go there for mani pedi and massage. The massage is the best. They also have many good offer and discounts. There is a brand new kit used for every customer so the hygiene level is high, which is important for me. Highly recommend.

I tried the Loreal treatment for hair.It is really amazing. My hair was very damaged and dry. After the treatment it became shiny, soft and alive. The service was very good as well, friendly and helpful girls are always there for you .

I have been to this salon several times and I liked their services.I felt I had finally found a place that really understood my needs. Today all that changed. I had an appointment and I was running late…they called and I missed their call and called back…I told them I will be late but the technicians can take next appointment and if she is available when I come I will have my services done. The receptionist said it’s ok come we will fit you in. I got to the salon and I was told the technician is handling a lady and will be with me shortly…I ended up waiting for 1.30hrs…all that time they knew they did not have a technician but I was not informed. It was as if it was pay back for me being late. I informed the receptionist if you had told me there was no appointment I would have booked a slot for the next day….In my opinion if it was someone from another nationality this would never have happened…I hope the owner knows what is going on in their salon….I was saddened by how this was handled…

If I could not gove any star I would.I visited for my facial extraction today, while I was doing pore opne with steam, the steamer cut on fire. It was actual fire not just spark or small shortage. Fire alarm was going off with heat and smoke, building securities came over as well.Staffs did not know what to do and pooring water to the machine still connected to electrical socket.My eyes were covered with tissue and alone in the room. Nobody was attending next to the steamer for the safety precaution.Luckly I could see the light glowing throw tissue, and evacuated before smoke and fire became larger.One of the staff informed me to seat down in the reception, and wait to be assist to other room to continue.In that stage, I was very worried about safety, I infomed staff I will leave.If you are planning to visit this shop just be aware where the exit is and make sure you ask staff, the equipment is safe to use.

I visited Layover Salon already few times and I was always satisfied. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The vibes in salon are very peaceful. Definitely I am gonna come back soon.

Nails Gel goes off after 48hours max and if you want them to fix it or give you ur money back they refuse.
