Pretty WOW

I was getting my nails done at pretty wow, for over 2 years. Have referred so many of my friends there too. one day i booked a super early appointment, and wasnt able to make it, they charged me the full fee as if i went to the appointment. 50% is understandable but 100% is absolutely ridiculous, regardless of their booking policy this isnt the right way to treat customers which are loyal to the salon. definitely not coming back

I’ve been to the salon twice now to have my hair done with Amy Angus and i love it! The salon is super cute, they always offer me a drink and a cookie but the best thing is to e quality of cut and colour from Amy.She always makes me leave feeling so much better and I won’t go to anyone else now !I have also had a facial with Jaja which was a brilliant experience - 💯 recommend this salon and I’ve tried a lot of dofffernt places in Dubai !

Unmatched service!! Lovely gals always look after you and the service is incredible. I always, always leave looking and feeling FRESH. Special mention to Rita for the BEST nails in Dubai ~ exceptional talent and attention to detail and to Stacy for her expertise and eye for hair! She’s turned me to a blonde babe in only a few sessions! ✨

I did manicure and pedicure that cost me 250 AED. I don’t know what nail polish they use but it made my nails look as though I touched something and ran my nails across while they were still not dry. They all look extremely bad! Even now after 5 hours, if I touch my nails it’s as if they’re still not fully dry, I can still make dents in them. They are ruined and it hasn’t even been a day! Very bad nail polish. And even the experience isn’t professional. Not impressed at all, really bad experience. The whole experience is worth max 50 aed!

So UNPROFESSIONAL! I entered in the salon and went to sit next to my nail tech and my friend was running late, then this woman came (manager) to me and ask when my friend was coming and I told her I didn’t know ( im not in control of my friend if she runs late or early but the traffic is always bad there) and she rolled her eyes at me saying MAKE SURE YOU GET UR FRIEND HERE ON TIME PleEeAaSee and rolled her eyes at me when she left. I was so confused because I just entered and a grown woman is being rude to me a kid who is in her teens as the second i entered trying to get my nails done. I was so baffled because if you were having a bad day or trying to go home earlier you should still provide GOOD service to YOUR clients and you shouldn’t disrespect me if my friend is running late that is not my responsibility. Very rude people here I was so shocked when this happened because it was my first time even talking to this women and this is how she talks to teenagers??? Really I was so shocked. Some People there need to LEARN how to respect their clients because this was so out of nowhere of how she talked to me.

Bad experience. Went in for a root color and went home as If i didnt do anything. Wasted 2hours of my time. They asked me to pay for the service even tho i didnt get any result. The management has handled the situation very badly. I dont recommend them at all. So many other salons in the area. Stay away. Photo attached is right after a root color service.

Amazing amazing place!! Rita is great at acrylics. She literally saved my nails as they were done horribly by another salon. She’s truly a professional. Holly and liberty are amazing at hair styling as well. I had to take my toddler with me and they were super friendly with her and kept her busy as I couldn’t attend to her while getting my nails done. Highly recommend 💯😍

Ive been coming to Sammie at Pretty Wow for years and she is just the absolute best in the business!! Shes an extension queen and can create something that you never thought you could ever achieve with super fine hair. Not only that, shes given me the ultimate hair colour and nails the brief every time👏🏻Ive had so many compliments on my hair and its all her wizardry!!🧚🏻‍♀️ Shes also such a gorgeous person inside and out and I always look forward to my appointments with her. Cannot recommend Sammie enough 💕

It’s not pleasant to say but it’s the second time in few months that I’m doing the nails here that while they do the manicure they cut my skin, the worst thing is one time again I developed an infection to the finger, that make me think and confirm that they don’t sanitize properly the tools. This is the last time.

Ryan did his magic on my hair and managed to undo the damage another hairdresser created. The colour is now exactly as i wanted it. So happy i found out, where he is working now.

Had an absolutely Pretty Wow experience at this salon. The ambiance makes me WOW! - its so Girly!! Thanks to Ilove for doing my nails and taking care of my nails - as always. She used to do my nails when she was working on her previous salon but since she moved to pretty wow, I had to booked an appointment with her. I highly recommend her as she is really good on what she does. Youll not gonna regret it! This place is highly recommended.

Ryan is the most rude and unprofessional stylist that I have come across in my 19 years of living in Dubai. We booked weeks in advance for my daughter’s prom, and it was the first time she was getting hair and makeup done. As soon as we say how he started rambling very quickly about how my daughter’s hair should have been straightened (it had been washed and dried) before he could do the updo that she wanted. I asked what was the issue as he was speaking so fast and with frustration in his voice, and he said, I’ll try to finish but I have other clients. I was so confused. He then said he didn’t have time for this and walked away. After a minute I walked the way he had and he was walking back. In pure confusion I asked him what the problem was and he said something to the effect of we should have booked more time. His energy was hostile and completely unnecessary, and so I told him we no longer needed or wanted his services. My 16 year old daughter even said she no longer wanted him to do her hair because of his attitude. This was devastating for us as we had to find another place to do her hair on her special day. Another staff person came over to me and it was round 2. I then asked for a manager and was told there was not one. I asked for the makeup artist so we could get that done and leave in desperation to our usual salon to see if they could fit us in. In the end they admitted it was THEIR mistake in scheduling and not our fault. Another stylist ended to doing her hair and she left happy, but Ryan did not care one bit that his abrasive attitude and lack of planning upset my daughter and almost ruined her special day. I don’t hold the entire salon responsible, but Ryan’s attitude and professionalism are deplorable. If I could give negative stars for him I would

I absolutely love getting my nails done at Pretty Wow Beauty Salon in Dubai! Rita is my go-to nail artist, and she always does an amazing job. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but Ive never had a broken nail since I started getting my nails done by her. Her speed and efficiency are truly impressive - she completes my overlay in just 45-50 minutes! I highly recommend Rita and Pretty Wow for anyone looking for top-notch nail services.

I’ve done my hair with Samantha (highlight) and I am really satisfied by her service. I’ve read some bad comments below but I appreciate it depends on the person, service or period (2 years ago). Personally, my experience was good. My appointment started on time, the result matches my expectations, the receptionist and assistants were really nice and smiling, providing a good client service (hot drinks, massage during the shampoo, quick massage on my back after the shampoo). Music is not too loud. Salon is clean and spacey. Samantha is really lovely and took time to do my hair, advising me well too. Why not 5 stars? It’s a bit pricey and it would be great to include shampoo / blowdry with highlights / color services as this is definitely needed and not a personal choice (other salons include it).

Jaja is my eyelash & nail technician to go! Her super accurate work together with her lovely personality makes every visit enjoyable. She‘s very dedicated and passionate to make you look the best you can ;) big thanks to Jaja!

This is my bazillionth time coming to Pretty Wow and Sammie and I cannot recommend the salon and her enough!! Sammie is honestly a joy to work with, I love that she is really realistic with her clients about what is achievable and is sooo dedicated to leaving them feeling PRETTY WOW. Can’t wait to be back ❤️❤️❤️

I am writing this post as a legal professional who fully understands the law. Unfortunately this salon does not understand the basic rules regarding a contract of sale and consumer rights. I bought hair extensions from the salon. When they arrived at the salon they were completely the wrong colour. Since i did not receive what i had paid for the contract of sale was essentially breached and i therefore, under consumer protection laws, had the right to receive a FULL refund back. The salon refused and claimed it was not their fault but the fault of the manufacturer. Wow really!? This may well be the case in literal practical terms, however, my contract of sale was with the salon and not the manufacturer, therefore it was the salons responsibility to refund me the money and for them to deal with the manufacturer as they see fit (eg. request a refund from the manufacturer or file a claim with the manufacturer, etc.). I tried explaining this to them but it fell on deaf ears. I did consider taking legal action, not because of the money but rather because of the principle of it and so that they may learn a lesson and other clients of the salon would not have to suffer in the same way. In the end i decided to move on with my life as i have a very busy schedule and did not have time to attend to court papers and hearings. So please be aware, this salon is unprofessional, negligent and unethical and does not understand the basics of customer service or contract law. Please be cautious if considering using this salon, it seems they only care about money.

I love the lashes Samantha did on me. It’s the most perfect and gorgeous lashes extensions I have had. I recommend her more than 100%. She actually did my lashes a year back in the salon I was going too before, but found out that she’s the newest team in pretty wow and wow she did an amazing job with my lashes extensions. Would definitely go back for her services here!!!! Inlove with her work!

I had an appointment for a toner with Holly. Would highly recommend against going to her for your hair. The toner did nothing to get rid of the redness in my hair, there was literally zero difference, and when I complained to the salon they refused to fix it and instead tried to get more money out of me saying I needed a full hair color etc.Bottom line: they are rude to customers, will try to con you, and do not do a good job to begin with*edit - the owners response to my review shows how they ignore and dismiss your concerns. The stylist said the toner would get rid of the redness, and that I needed a full color if I wanted to go a shade lighter. When the toner didnt get rid of the redness even the slightest bit, they refused to fix it.I recently went to another salon in jlt instead that was able to get rid of the redness with just toner.For anyone considering coming here - save your time and money and go somewhere that values their customers and knows what theyre doing.

Pretty WOW? More like pretty TERRIBLE!!!!! I would not recommend this salon to any living soul. I went there for one service (hair styling) and they told me theres a small extra charge to wash, I said ok as her tone of voice was shy and nervous and seemed like it would cost almost nothing. The small extra charge is actually more than double the price of the hair styling!!! I left paying more than double than what I was suppose to.When I was leaving I told them that they should inform their clients that a small charge is actually double the price, THEY started shouting at ME?! The WORST customer service ever!!!! Do not do your hair with Stacey, she will rip you off!!!!! They didnt even acknowledge their lies and or offer to give me a discount?! And Sarah from reception was being disgustingly rude!!!!!WORST SALON IN DUBAI PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF FROM GOING!!!! They are liars and cheaters!!!!!!!

Im a very loyal client and used to drive from DXB to AUH every couple of weeks to see my hairdresser. Since the border was closed due to Covid19, I was forced to do my research and find another salon. I loved Samantha Janes work on Insta and now my hairdresser in AUH will be very sad to hear that, but Im never coming back!Shes just amazing and Ive never been so happy with my hair. Color and cut still look great even when growing out, not many get that right! The hair extensions quality is out of this world, already using the same ones for the third time now and they look brand-new.Amazing service with the biggest smile from SJ as well as from the entire team. Quickest & best manicure in town (unfortunately forgot the name of the girl who did it, but theyre all sweet). Thank you Samantha Jane & Pretty Wow for making my life a lot easier and more beautiful! :)

Worst Salon in Dubai, Id rather lose all my hair then come here again. NEVER do your hair with Stacey. She charges you double the price without even telling you. So when it comes time to pay, you are left in shock. Sarah at reception is terribly rude. DO NOT BOTHER going to this Salon, they can barely do a blow dry and their attitudes is the worst. And they will let you wait around for 30 mins until they get to you, and the nerve they have to charge you double the amount without even warning you.Pretty terrible and horrible salon is more like it.

Incredibly unprofessional to call and cancel a client because it’s running a little late. I prefer a salon with more quality than this. If the salon is busy that is your problem for accomodating more than you should. 30min per appointment just shows the lack of QUALITY you give to each client.There are hundreds of salons in Dubai who can do a better job for you and offer you a better service. Avoid this place 👎🏼

A home away from home! Staff are so welcoming and professional. They are also very professional and really know how to get the best out of your hair! I recommend Sammie for blonde colors! She is truly an expert!It is really wow! 😁

Pretty Wow were extremely accommodating regarding me changing the times and services I wanted, which I was very grateful forFrom the moment I walked in I felt welcome, and I even had a girl help me with my parking. Every one was super friendly and Daisy and Jaja gave me fab lashes, wax and mani pediI thought Id have to try a few salons before I found one I liked in Dubai, but im not sure how anyone could really top how I was looked after todayCouldnt recommend highly enough

Worst salon ever! They r only thieves ! I went there to make a refill, they had a «  promotion » 175 aed for everything at the end they charged me 300 aed when I asked why they keep adding things out of nowhere. Okay, the worst part is coming, 4 days after 3 nails r broken so I went there thinking that ormally they will fix it for free, but of course no they charged me 80 aed !!!! For nails that I just made 4 days ago, unbelievable! 300 aed for nothing! and now 2 other nails are broken 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 Never again

I loved cutting and blow drying my hair with Samantha Jane! She understands my needs and does what works for me. Im very satisfied.

They are so unprofessional, and money minded. They canceled my sister’s appointment, and my sister drove for 4 hours. They have no decency to apologize, when she got there the staff were gossiping and being so unprofessional, I think places like this shouldn’t be operating. And she is informing her the nail technicians left for the day. They lied, bad promotion. Beware of them!!!!

Very unhappy with my hair. I came in as a blonde and left the salon with dull and lifeless hair. She said it was because “maybe” she left the toner for too long so it darkened it out and that after a few washes it would brighten up and show but nope 👎🏻 now it’s just starting to look brassy, yellowish orange kind of color. Never going back !!

Samantha Jane did a dry curly cut with amazing finesse and insight. She knows what your hair needs, values your opinion and did not rush with the whole process.

I love this salon, it’s my go to for everything, hair, nails and lashes. All the girls are so friendly it’s got such a nice atmosphere every time I go. Would highly recommend 🤍

They are beyond unprofessional and really dont even try to rectify their mistakes. There are several other options for nails and you probably are in much better hands with them. Stay away and dont bother because they really dont care for customers.

Worst customer service ever! Beware of the cancellation fee they force you to pay if you ever reschedule or cancel your appointment even though I had an urgent matter. They didn’t let me reschedule until I pay the cancellation fee which is 50% of the service! And when you actually reach on time for your appointment they keep you waiting for 30 minutes or more, so absurd never coming back.

I usually go here for my hair and I love it. Today I visited Daisy for eyelashes and was very happy with results
