I just visited Shammasi salon in Damascus Street yesterday for hydrafacial, nail extension, root colour, pedi hairtrim eyebrow and I must say this place is extremely good with really good services and professional work. I highly recommend to visit this salon for your needs. Treasa, Pappi, Sherin, Afshan,mona and one more philipino staff is there shes also too good.its a great place.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR DONT VISIT THIS SALON.i went to get my haircut and told the hairstylist several times not to reduce the length of my hair i also showed her how much to reduce but she cut off 3 inches of my hair. when i asked her about it she was trying to gaslight me into believing that’s the length that i asked for when i clearly told her not to reduce the length. i had really long hair and she reduced it to mid length. she also kept speaking to me in hindi even though i told her that i wasn’t understanding her. she just did her own thing without paying attention and communicating properly. not only that, after my haircut when i went to pay the woman at the counter told me my total was 105. mind you, i had called and asked beforehand about their prices and they said it was 70 for a haircut. i asked her about it and suddenly she changed the total to 70. what sort of scam is this??? worst experience of my life, my hair is a mess and i hope this place shuts down.

Not recommend to any one . Horrible service.Waste of money“I went to Shamas Beauty Parlor today (04/10/24) for my daughter’s haircut around 12:00. We asked for simple corrections, removing split ends, align the hair in forhead and specifically told them not to cut too much since we had a function the next day and also showed sample image and explained clearly what exactly we need . Despite explaining this, the stylist(she doesn’t understand english, one other lady translating to her) cut way too much hair in the front, giving a boyish cut on front side and completely changing her look. Now we have to go to another salon and pay again to fix it.After leaving a negative review on Google, the salon owner messaged me on WhatsApp—first politely, then later threatening me to remove the review. Be cautious before choosing this salon.”

I did hair rebonding, it was poorly done, i still have wavy hair in the middle, not completely straight, and myself and my sister did highlighter, it was also not good, and after that we started loosing lot of hair, my hair dr is suspecting that it may be because of the chemical they hav uaed, so i don suggest them for hair services

Honestly Im so confused what happened. Im new and just visiting Dubai and went to the nearest highest rated salon. I messaged on the Google chat and also called earlier to say that I wanted the foot scrub treatment and a 30 minute head massage. When I arrived after making a reservation they were still confused about what treatment I wanted. The fresha website says the foot scrub was 1 hour but they finished me in like 19 minutes. When I asked why it was so short and showed the fresya booking website that says 1 hour, she said Oh no theres no time to it, whenever they decide theyre done and youre clean, theyll just stop. To me thats really strange, if theres no time to it then dont put 1 hour on the site. Then after that, I continued to the head massage, which was supposed to be for 30 minutes but she stopped at 20 minutes. I came to sit and relax for a total of 1.5 hours and just be at peace, but was done in 40 minutes so you can imagine my unsatisfaction. Then when I came to pay, it was supposed to be 40 + 40 dhs altogether as per the website, but they charged me 94.50. Like I said Im new and just visiting Dubai, so I didnt want to cause a scene in case that there were some hidden tax I wasnt aware of, but then I came home and realised I was overcharged. The ladies were celebrating Onam which is completely respectable, but the workers were just busy putting flowers on themselves and taking selfies and the salon was a little loud for a head massage which was just done on the main floor with bright lights and lots of noise etc. Honestly Im a little sad because I came to relax, and the treatments were actually nice, but they were short and I was overcharged so you can imagine how confused Im feeling. Im sure the previous reviews were valid but honestly I most likely wont come back when Im visiting again.

The level of service is mediocre, and I never treated so poorly Especially by Miss Sandhya she scrubed my feet so hard that it Started bleeding and I assumed she was maybe stressed and took her frustration on my feet and the my next visit I was hoping to receive a better service but the next time I went there she had to say something a little rude to say me and honestly I did not expect that from her. In my last visit I had informed the owner who by the way is the most sweetest person I’ve ever seen and she tried to talk to Miss Sandhya and we assumed the situation was resolved. But I think overall it was an okay experience but I don’t think I’ll be going back there for pedicures.

I will start with the good first as the Manicure only was ok!Now coming to pedicure.... a nightmare for me which I am still suffering with. All my feet got peeled and I am not able to walk due to cuts and scratches on my feet WORSE ever experience.Facial was OK but the products again are low quality and compromised!My face is having rashes however as soon as I felt the burning sensation on my face i asked her to remove the mask.I would not have done this comment but even after I raised it to the Owner she flipped it saying that these are the normal cuts on feet which I have already!!!!I mean if you cant heal it DONT PEEL IT!

😡😡😡😡I went for a haircut but the haire stylist she made me cry at the end, I have never ever complaint in my life,the first time I complaint is in this saloon.😡😡I went there for a short hair cut, the whole experience was horrible. The hair cut was the most horrible cut I ever had in my life, even I told her that thats not the hair cut I showed her in 3 pictures, she was arguing that it is and I looks nice .Was not happy at all neither about the hair cut or about the attitude of the hairdresserSo disappointed😡😡😡😡 please be careful 😡😡😡😡

So , i went in for a haircut and mani and a cleanup. Nancy did a good job with the clean up and my mom had an amazing facial by shyamala which is why she recommended the place to me , Theresa did a great job with the manicure and was incredibly sweet but the haircut was messed up by hiba. I asked for curtain bangs but she cut a thick layer on my head with no spray, no shears to trim it down to merge with the rest of the hair, and when i asked her to merge it, she assumed it was a layered cut and cut off my length and did sharp and uneven cuts, no technique at all.I didn’t want to come out of there, i was so embarrassed.Hiba at first didn’t even look interested to do my hair and later on i realized she doesn’t speak English, hence she doesn’t even know what im trying to say and noone really properly translated me for her.Overall terrible job , i had to go to another salon to get it fixed. I would not recommend a haircut here, massages by Shyamala and facials by nancy seem to be good so far.

The staff is friendly. Iqra, Mona,Abeera, Shawa, Nancy and Tresa served well. They were very professional and made me comfortable. Planning to continue with their services in future. Lastly the prices are very genuine.

Cooperative staff and wide variety of services.

They dont no how to do facial. They show you different products. In facial they you fack production. I have very bad experience with they. I get so many pimples because for there third class facial. 100 aed its not small amount for 1 services. There best thing they just no good review.

I want to cry! My haircut experience was terrible! I wanted curtain fringes and I used a reference image but I explained exactly how I wanted it and now I look like Velma from Scooby doo! The whole experience was ridiculous! I almost had a breakdown in the saloon! The blowdrying and combing through my hair felt like she hated me, I could even get the burning hair smell!PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE FOR HAIRCUT!!

My name is Tara posting this from my husbands account.. worst and ridiculous service for facial, rude behavior from the owners. This is my personal experience.I have done a facial yday gold facial with detan cream.. after half an hr face started itching and called up the staff and they said to put ice pack and it usually happens and after sometime will be ok. Morning there was heavy swelling and redness in the face.. had informed the owners both the wife (mrs shanti) and her husband And they spoke very rudely.. I had to put steroid injection and they were not admitting it and blaming that it because of some food allergy. I have sent all the doc reports, prescriptions proving it is a chemical reaction but still they didn’t admit it.. I have no other option but to raise the issue with DHA and municipality... never try and will not recommend to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!

Mashallah, the salon is respectful and beautiful in dealing with the customer and I am their permanent customer . The dyeing, eyelash installation, threading and eyebrow cleaning are excellent in it.

Visited them few days ago. Hiba did my hair highlight v nicely and also blow dry. Even Raquel did my facial well. Thanks

Racquel did a very good job on my hair. She was very meticulous and cut it exactly like the reference I gave. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone look for a hair cut.

The saloon and services are good but very unprofessional in sharjah branch. The ladies in between many a times going to the counter to collect payment from another customers in between the services and other ladies being not much busy not helping her.
