I had a disappointing experience at this salon.1. Super slow: It took 2.5 hours for a simple acrylic removal and French tip manicure2. No one knows the prices : Three staff members had to discuss among themselves to figure it out, 500 AED was quoted for a French tip. I refused to pay this given the quality, and paid 100AED.3. Disorganized: Multiple people were involved in such a simple job, but no one took responsibility for issues like not having the right materials available4. Misleading Marketing: The services and products shown on Instagram weren’t available in the salon (they don’t have any of those gel colors or wigs)Overall, the experience was slow, overpriced, and poorly managed

Black American expat here (moved in mid-July) in desperate need of a touch up (Ive been getting my hair relaxed since I was small). I thought I would treat myself to having it done professionally, since Ive been doing it myself for decades. After seeing one incredibly negative review for a relaxer/perm treatment I was almost dissuaded from coming here but as my mom said, its just hair. So I figured why not, and I am SO GLAD I DID.Stella was incredible from start to finish. She used one of my favorite brands for relaxers/touch-ups and literally explained everything she did and was going to do, every step of the way. She explained the entire process, protected my scalp and sensitive hairline areas, thoroughly washed my hair with neutralizing shampoo, deeply conditioned it, and offered various styling options post-wash/recommendations for what would help and look best for my hair.I felt pampered like a princess, truly. Not to mention, Stella is one of the kindest conversationalists Ive ever met. She made me feel supremely welcome and comfortable, even sharing insights into Dubai life. I CANNOT WAIT to come back in 2 weeks - and neither can my husband, haha, who loved the results and keeps asking me when I go back.Atmosphere: 10/10 - It was absolutely empty the entire time I was there (I booked a Friday afternoon). Personally, I loved that haha. It was very relaxing. Also the facilities are very clean, the music was lovely and the place has surprisingly great lighting!Staff: 10/10 - The staff were so fun, light, kind and positive. I loved spending time with them and they made sure I was comfortable and enjoying my experience while I was there.Styling/Results: 11/10 - My husband could not stop touching my hair and remarking on how soft and healthy it looked. Weve been together for over a decade so hes seen my hair journey at numerous stages, and it seems this stage is his favorite, haha. It also held up incredibly well!! Honestly looked even better the next day and kept nicely days after (*I wrapped my hair each night and slept with a satin head scarf).Overall: Id give more than 5 stars if I could. I had a great time here, will absolutely be coming back, and would recommend this spot to anyone who is looking at least for professional black hair services.THANK YOU STELLA! This trip was a LIFE SAVER and GAME CHANGER for me. Cannot wait for my next visit :)

Im going to leave this review in a pro and con format.Pros:- Good location.- I like that the salon caters to all genders, so one can bring ones partner there.- The inside of the salon is really beautiful and welcoming.- Stella, the stylist there is a gem. She is very professional, kind, listens and ready to learn if you have specific things you want done. Shes also a savvy business woman. I cant count the number of times that I go there intending to do just one thing and she convinces me to do others 😄. She should probably be in a managerial position in that salon given how she runs the place mostly by herself (shes usually the only one there when I go). I dont think the place would remain this way without her.- The new lady Rhasida is also very good. She gave me one of the best head massage Ive ever had. She also did a pedicure for me and 2 weeks later, underneath my feet is still soo soft. Lest I forget, she gave me a very nice and relaxing massage. Again, I attest this to Stella convincing me to give these a try and I did not regret that choice.Cons:- Parking. There is hardly a place go park outside the salon. And the garage parking is not available for this salon and you have to pay which just is unacceptable when all other businesses offer validated parking. I sometimes have to go buy something at a restaurant nearby just to get my parking validated to be able to go to the salon. There are times where I have wanted to cancel my appointment and go back because I have been driving round the block numerous times trying to find parking.- Payment: it is only cash payment. Their payment machine isnt working. For such a modern and beautiful looking salon, this is such a shame. People who dont have cash have to go find an ATM to use. There used to be a payment machine but I dont know what happened, now theres none.- For such a beautiful salon, there is a mold smell when you first walk in. I hope this gets resolved as it is a health issue. The place needs to smell clean and fresh everytime one walks in.- They need to offer more services, they have a large menu of services but whenever you sometimes ask for something, theres no person who specializes in it to get it done. Example: eye brows threading.Overall, this salon has lots of potential if it has good management.

Received a fantabulous and best executive saloon experience today and I have never seen it before any where.The customer care was top notch and will want to be giving you guys my money.All my girls and fancy luxurious women, this is our saloon here in DXB.The Glass House is complete heaven on earth.

This was my first visit to the salon, I came for a cut and colour. The staff were all so friendly helpful. Husi was my hairdresser and he was amazing he took so much time and care with my hair all the time explaining what he was doing and why. I can say he did the best colour ever of any hairdresser i have had and my hair even a week later is very soft and still looking great. He also took great time with cutting my curly hair. Stella was also a great help with her curly hair experience and the two of them made a great team. I will definitely be back due to the experience and the friendliness and care they gave me.

I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews for business, however, I woke up with blisters on my scalps so I felt I had to share for people to avoid this.My regular salon was closed and I needed to get my hair done for an event. I went in to get a relaxer touch up, post a 4 month stretch. I asked if they had the product I usually use, they didn’t but assured me the alternative was just as good. She went on to explain that one relaxer was normal strength and the other was extra and that she would mix it. I didn’t question it and let her proceed. I told her the relaxer can’t stay longer than 12-15 minutes max as that’s how I’ve been doing it for years. Around the 10 minute mark, my head was ok fire but she had not finished applying the second layer. She rushed it and at the 15 minute mark we went to wash it out.After she had washed it out with just water, she says “I’ll use a moisturizing shampoo”. I was so shocked, I said absolutely not, please use a proper neutralizing shampoo, she then runs back and gets a neutralizing shampoo. This part honestly left me appalled as the ph balance will not be restored with just any shampoo leading to hair breakage and fall out. This should be common knowledge for any hair dresser. She washed it out once with shampoo and says, we will apply some conditioner now. Again, I had to intervene, my head was still aching and on fire and it’s general practice to wash it 3+ times. Again I had to ask to wash it out multiple times.She applied conditioner, sat back on the chair started to blow dry my hair. At this part, my scalp was still burning and when I touched my hair, I noticed, that 25% was properly relaxed, 10% over processed and 65% completely unchanged by the relaxer. Parts where my scalps was sore was where the hair was still curly. I kept pointing this out over and over she just kept saying “this product was not right for you”, “some relaxers just are not for everyone”. I couldn’t fathom this. After she blowdried, another colleague came to give me a trim I asked for and a curls which was good. As I payed, I said again that I’m unhappy with the job on the relaxer. She made no suggestions to rectify it, no apology or acknowledgment of any kind. They gave me a winter discount and sent me on my way.I have been relaxing my hair for years and have long healthy hair so this was truly horrible for me as I couldn’t think of a way to correct the botch job without completely ruining my hair and doing another round. This morning, I tried brushing my hair and that’s when the pain hit me I found all the blisters.The lady was very nice and friendly. However, under no circumstances do I recommend getting relaxer done of any kind done here.

I had a really great experience here. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They answered all my questions about the products I inquired about with patience and knowledge. I also received the best pedicure of my life by Lycie. Im going to mention one last time how friendly the staff are because of how pleasantly surprised I was! If youre ever in Dubai, do yourself a favour and drop by.

Definitely the best spa/salon in town! So grateful for Teresa, Grace and Rolana for the excellent services. I had pedicure, massage and Hair styling. I felt like a real princess at Caroline Brooks actually offered me coffee and snacks during my stay. The ambience and feel of the place is very luxurious. There’s nothing like it in Dubai. Ive been here in Dubai for 8 years and this place is just the best salon for us ladies! ❤️

You will fall in love with this salon as soon as you will walk in… glamorous, classy, spacious interior will blow your mind.. I have done facial with Reyhana two days ago and i my skin is super clean and glowing. Very trustworthy salon when it comes to quality and products they use, I know it very well as I have been everywhere. Facial was 10/10. I did my hair with Tareq and he is the best and knows what he is doing, I left the salon like a celebrity. I do really highly recommend this salon from my heart as it s defiantly the most exciting salon in Dubai ! Something I haven’t been and seen or experienced before! See you soon!!!
