The Red Lounge- Discovery Gardens

Yesterday I visited this hair dresser and was utterly disappointed with the haircut service. Despite sharing a picture of what I wanted the hair dresser did not bother... nor did she wet the hair n cut...the hair cut was supposed to be layers but she cut so badly not equalising the hair... but randomly cut here n there. Considering she has 12 yrs experience,. when I told her she said ok ill cut again n just chopped of all my hair. The point is if u guys cannot listen to the customer / nterested then its better u rest.. its really buggered up my look. So disappointed n disheartened. Never ever going back to you..Furthermore, no one was willing to take responsibility.

I took a package, and opted for their 20 minute massage option. Anyone selecting this option, please ask if the massuse is qualified. I got it done and am suffering from shoulder pain and neck pain since a week and will have to visit a doctor for this. The filipino girl was sweet but definately didnt know anything about a massage.Also i split the package over 2 days. When i went back on 2nd day, the lady at the reception was only encouring me to come back another day as it was busy but same time she accepted so many other clients. I literally had to come back on a 3rd day, i felt she was a biased.The staff is good but the above 2 things will stop me from going there again.

I find the staff at Red Lounge, Discovery Gardens to be very polite & courteous. The parlour is always kept clean. There is plenty of parking available any time of the day. Grace is the best for haircuts & highlights and Dana for manicure & pedicure. I use their services regularly and am very happy.

Only If I had option to rate them in negative. Went for my eyebrows threading, clearly informed the lady to only remove extras. I end up having thread thin completely out of shaped eyebrows. Please ladies, never ever go there. Highly unprofessional and untrained staff.

Dont have manner to treat their clients. the lady who was doing my eyebrow was very rude and she just wanted to finish her work quickly, even though it meant hurting me..even she was making faces when i told her to do it slowly and she was blaming me… very much disappointed

If I could rate this a zero, I definitely would. Me and my mother entered the shop with a rude greeting. None of the workers were nice especially the one who did my hair. I requested for a haircut with the help of a picture I found in google. She told me that my hair needed washing before she could cut my hair. It came to my mothers notice that there was some white residue on my hair. She asked the hair stylist about it and she told her to sit down. My mother asked again to which she replied I dont know. . When it came to the haircut, it was nothing like what I had shown on my phone and all this costed us a lot of money. I have gotten this haircut from several shops with the price of 80 and they charged us 140 dirhams. Once I reached home, I noticed my hair tangling which was unusual from my other trips to salons. I noticed that they didnt even wash my hair properly which I had to wash again. Please, I beg you not to enter this salon as it is the worst experience I had in my life and hope yours doesnt too.

Very bad experience.Kauser is the last person one should have to handle reception, no understanding of how to manage appointments and very rude as well. She has absolutely zero respect for people s time..Shabana, Grace and Dana are a pleasure to work with, but this lady soured the whole experiance..

Grace did an amazing job on my haircut! Im very happy with the result and will definitely recommend her.

I have been coming to red lounge discovery gardens for more than 8 years. The team at this branch consisting of Shabhana, Shamim, Grace and many other wonderful ladies are doing a great job. They always do their best to keep the customer happy. I am a loyal customer here only because i love the service they provide to me. Keep up the great work!!

I am new to the area and I saw this parlour and went for waxing to red lounge and the lady claimed that the service here is very good and so is the after service. But the waxing was really bad. She missed waxing on so many places. I had to point out the areas where I can see that she has not properly waxed. And there was no after service my skin was all sticky in spite of me telling her I can’t stand stickiness. Later when I came home I saw so many areas with visible hairs and not waxed plus also my skin being sensitive got slightly peeled on my hands at one place. The way I got the service felt like they are doing it for free and lady was skeptical to do it properly. Not even checking whether it’s done properly and clearly missing out half hands even the underarms was partially done when I went home and checked. I am extremely disappointed and suggest people to not waste money on any service here. Plus to not damage your skin etc. not to mention that extremely poor hygiene as they gave me used gown to wear which had hair all over it. Disgusted with unhygienic place, incomplete waxing and peeled skin.

I love the service! The ladies are professional and always polite. My favourites include shabhana & Grace who have carried iout my services for years. I would recommend this team anytime. They offer a variety of services and should be considered if you in the area.

I visited the salon today for a head,neck,shoulder massage. The treatment was pathetic. The girl was more focused on yapping with other girls rather than the treatment. She walks out after starting the hair steamer and another lady comes and switches it off clearly much before adequate time. I was just sitting there without anyone attending till I told the receptionist if nothing is going to happen can my hair be washed. Besides, they used cold water to wash my hair despite telling them about my cold. If this was not horrific enough for a day, during blow dry she burned my shoulder too. After all this they still had the audacity to offer me a package.Not to mention hygiene is zero. If there was -1 I would have given that.

I have been going to this parlour for more than 8 years and today I had amazing experience with parlour lady Madhu which made me leave a review. She was so perfect and professional n made sure to take care of every single thing. Felt really nice with all the service taken today.I highly recommend Miss Madhu.

Like the pedicure service there.hydrafacial was satisfactory but can be improved for a good experience Vs the price paid for it.the hair stylist grace is amazing.shabana and rachana do the best waxing.for massages the girl from philipines(forgot the name) is nice.KRITIKA,SHAMIM & KAUSER are amazing managers ,always accommodating even last minute requests. Cleanliness and little more product usage for facials can be done,thats what I felt can improve

I got a haircut there yesterday and it was the absolute WORST. I asked for a step cut and instead of starting from the top, they started from the bottom and now there is a layer of extremely short hair at the base of my head while the rest looks longer.Absolutely pathetic. The employees are so incapable and the woman who was doing my hair was not gentle AT ALL and kept poking my ear with her scissors.85 AED is a lot for such bad service.They were also not hygienic and I refuse to come here again.This is the worst service I have ever received.

Poor service. Unkind staff except Dana who does manicure and pedicure very well.If you go to Red Lounge, go only for Dana’s manicure and pedicure and absolutely nothing else.

So I went to get my face clean up today the Parlour lady laid a tissues on the bed not even changed the towel which was used by the previous person secondly there was no towel rapped across the neck so that the product don’t get to the cloths. Very bad service hygiene is the area they need to work on very disappointed.

My first experience was good when I took the package of 5 items. But next time (with package of 8 items) I had very bad experience from the two staffs who attended my pedicure. They had very bad attitude and didn’t do the job properly. Hygienic wise also it was worst. I will never recommend this salon.

I have been coming to the Red Lounge in Discovery Gardens for many years now and always leave satisfied with whatever treatment I have. The staff are highly skilled and professional and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Would highly recommend.

I could share negative ratings, if that option is also available.First of all, one of the receptionist (little fat) , who doesnt know how to talk with customer, she is very arrogant with customer and second thing, if you only come for eyebrows, that receptionist will get angry at the time of giving cash, because she will not give you change (as you have came only for eyebrow threading ) and asked to get change from the nearby grocery store, also she got frustrated when i asked for bill and in very unprofessional way she was talking about me with her colleague (because i asked for bill). Highly Negative experience with this beauty salon :(

The quality of services at Red Lounge in Discovery Gardens is really good. I have been going here for the last 7-8 years and I have noticed an improvement in overall experience more recently. The new manager, Kishika is nice and accommodating. In general, the staff is also very friendly and good, particularly Sushanti and Shabana.The earlier manager, Gausia, (who has now moved to their Business Bay branch) was always extremely rude at the reception and continues to argue with customers.

Very bad experience. The hair cut for my child was not good. When requested for correction, they were rude in responding. They were trying to charge extra for covering their mistake. Never go again 👎

I have been committed to one saloon ever since I moved to Dubai 3 years back. The Discovery Gardens branch is personally my favourite - extremely friendly and professional staff, flexible appointment fixing and pocket friendly pricing. It is a one stop for all your saloon needs!

My go to parlour for waxing blowdry and mani pedi.Great staff! Great services!Packages have a various services and very reasonable!Very convenient location, as there is a lot of parking!

So i went to Red Lounge (discovery gardens) after a long time for hair rebonding. Loretta did a good job and laurine was good with Mani pedi too. Neema at the front desk manages the appointments well and is friendly n understanding. The hygiene standards are decent and can be improved further. The prices are reasonable too. The products they use are of good quality. Overall a nice place to go for all beauty services.

Staff is friendly, service is satisfactory, but need to work on hygiene, specially in the waxing or facial rooms.... ( use the tissue roles instead of spreading towels) on the beds... Or sanitize the beds well.... Also in the changing room it Sud be more clean and tidy... Toilet should have extra toilet rolls and facial tissues... With good hand wash........ Im fine with the staff just that youll need to maintain the hygiene level a little high during this covid period... All the best.

Hi took a facial eyebrow and upper lip waxing and manicure and pedicure - pathetic quality, poor hygiene not professional staff, one shrude receptionist and one inside lady extremly poor should think of reburbishment and training staff, I came from abu dhabi and trying to find saloon however extremly low grade should close this unit.

Worst service for henna she did henna like small kid drawing she takes money 20050 for hand for adult and kids also the same same price m not prefer to go there henna artist not have any experience for beautiful henna she make designs like kid.

I did a Keratin Treatment for my hair. After my first hair wash it became curly and after the second wash my hair is back to normal. I paid 300 aed for this for no use. I would definitely not recommend this salon to anybody.

Salon is very unhygienic and very dirty. The lady who was doing my waxing was throwing wax all over the floor she didnt even bother to change the towels on the bed. The towels were soo dirty

I have been visiting Red Lounge since ages. I am very satisfied with all their services. The staff is friendly and polite. Nima, the lady at the reception is very accommodating.Hygiene standards are good. Lauren is great with mani-pedi. I am very happy to go there.

Horrible sevice. I went to this salon for a haircut and told her the length but she cut way way shorter. She made me stand first and cut the length I told her but after that she washed my hair and cut it even shorter in the name of styling.😩😡😡😡😡

The wrost service ever.the wrost parlor in discovery garden,arfroaz who did my threading, she spoiled my eyebrows shape & she did argue with me ,very rudly. I m not recommend this parlor,

The worst salon ever. discriminating peaple for no reason and I see why no1 comes there🤡🤡.Truly a waste of our money.I hope so many bad reviews will show concern to the police to take down this trash salon

Very poor customer service. Receptionist behaviour was rude and specially when you go to complete your package services and they do not have changing gowns still they will not extend your balance services for even 1 week as if it’s not there problem if they cannot complete your service. They don’t care or value neither your time or money

Terrible experience.. They fool you with wrong package instructions and charge you wrongly. I felt cheated. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. Overcrowded staff...they do less work and chit chat more. And whichever lost customers reach the parlour get tricked into wrong and heavy invoices. :(

Worst Dirty salone .. I I m new in this area and I went this parlour .. the salone is so dirty .. I did underarm waxing eyebrow and upper lip .. service is so bad vary poor and dirty service .. she did my underarm waxing and kept the used waxing strip in my chest .. and there charging more compared to other salons

I just went for an under arM wax . She was in so mch hurry that she did it harshly and next day I got big red painful rashes . When I showed her small hair is left she responded that is not hair 🤣

I did eyebrows and upper n lower lips wax she peeled my skin and later the whole area was burning. Horrible will never go or suggest anyone to try services.

Double check with the services you claim. I have signed up for the 5 services in total and used only 3. Today when visited staff claiming that I have already used 4 services.

Very horrible experience, went for facial (9-aug-2019) unhygienic (bad smell from changing clothes), professionalism neither from staff nor from receptionist , facial was not upto the mark , eyes is still paining (after 12hrs), i may have to go clinic .

Initially it was one of the best .. but now it’s getting pathetic .. receptionist looks so clumsy and lazy ... I would prefer to go far and pay more rather going to this saloon.. was a regular customer since 4-5 years but now no more .. today was my last visit definitely....

Horrible service. Staff literally treat the customers like its an foc service. They forget the customer is the reason they are there. Buckle up red lounge or its might be time to say goodbye sooner than you expected.

I went to this parlour last week for threading...no respect to the customer ..as i do only threading it seems...and it was not done properly my face look itself changed...very much disappointed

Untidy place..First time tried waxing.Even for Under arm they use same stick for dipping.Imagaine it will be used for other customers..Atleast they did not had curtosy to put it in dustbin after my service..Im writing this comment because if someone is going for waxing take care of your own hygiene

The beauticians are very rough and dont listen at all, after my visit on Oct 27th 2018, I dont think I will go back to them for any packages...in spite of telling the beautician be gentle while threading my face she was rough and gave several cuts on my face, other beautician was pressing my face so hard during my face cleanup that I ended up getting headache.

I visited today....it was great experience....also it was my first visit....now it will be regular...nice ambience...and staff is very smiling....overall experience was awesome. Thank you once again😊

The receptionist was very unwelcoming, and told me that we needed an appointment even though the salon was literally empty. She was unprofessional and hostile.
