Came to Joseph for the first time and he was absolutely amazing. Great man and great experience with doing hair. He got my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it, better than the UK!Also Mary Rose was GREAT with my nails. She took her time and paid attention to the detail I wanted.When I come back to Dubai again, I will not be going to anyone else apart from these 2 people! They are very caring to their client and provide the greatest service.

My absolute favourite place in Dubai for nails and lashes! All ladies at the salon are so talented and I always leave with the most beautiful nail designs. The lashes are also done well and last a long time. Another positive is that the ladies work quickly and often you can have more than one thing done at the same time. I will always come back here! Such a shame because I wanted to be full of positivity for this place but I just cant. Feeling so frustrated. I went to this place to do my nails on July 30th, normally my nails last for at least 3 weeks no peeling no nothing, I came to this place by recommendation of a friend and also because my usual manicurist it’s on vacations right now, the manicure was so bad to the point that they didn’t remove the skin on my fingers properly and then when the girl was cutting my nails i asked her not to cut it so short, still she did it and all of them where different sizes, then when she was putting the polish i also asked her to put it next to the cuticle which she didn’t do it cus she was so lazy to stand up and get a tiny brush to do it properly. Two days ago my nails started peeling off, and yesterday i was literally washing my hair and all of a sudden the whole nail polish came out leaving one of my nails basically without polish, i reached to the poor customer service to give me a solution and they are telling me that i should pay 10 dirhams if i want them to fix it because 10 days passed already, the service is really bad, the quality is the worst and the customer service is basically useless. I paid for a taxi all the way to Five hotel in JVC and back again for no reason, wasting my time. Not impressed, if I could give 0 stars I would.

They ruined my real lashes!!!!!!! every time I have appointment they say “some of your real hair fall while removing” not professional at all they destroyed my lashes and asked me to pay full set!! I never had the chance to do refill as they push for new set each time I come. I used to do ultra volume lashes for 3 years of my life now and after only 3 appointments in this salon now I have basic lashes extensions….. extremely not happy and they keep telling me excuses! The front desk lady said they will get back to me about this for my next visit of treating my damaged lashes caused by them but I have to pay again!!! Excuse me???? id never recommend this place

Very bad service.Called a day after regarding the prices for gelish for mani and pedi which was given.Day after I visit the salon and only after when they removed my previous gelish they inform me that there was a charge of 75 aed for the hands and again 75 aed for the feet.This should have been informed in the beginning before the I started the treatment.So for the gelish manicure and pedicure is 170 PLUS 150 aed to remove previous one which they still made me pay, when I was not informed for the price of the extra which I would never from the beginning I would agree to pay since it’s the same price of the combo.Is it too way too much.They sat me in a chair with a broken sink for the sink which I had to move after ( apparently the sink was broken since morning but no one bothered to call someone to fix or even to avoid to sit there a client)And in the end the nails are not so great, you can see fails in all the nails majority in the hands and the skin which was not removed properly.Technicians spend all the time speaking with each other and just passing material around from one client to other.Avoid to go as they’re much better places to go.

Never had nails done this bad. Uneven color, nails are bumpy with bubbles, the previous color isn’t fully removed.2 stars as pedicure is acceptable.

The lady hairstylist in jvc ruined my hair and cut it uneven. I asked for layers and she didn’t know how to cut layers. My root colors is much lighter than the rest of my hair. I don’t recommend going there, very bad experience.

I’ve had my hair blow dried twice by Alaa for two special occasions. Every time he creates the most bouncy blow dry and makes my hair look amazing. This week Alaa cut my hair, he added extra layers and face framing and my hair has never looked better. Highly recommend him.

I have done combo gelish mani pedi one week back. Then, the polish was peeled off in one of the nails which was super weird cause it never happened to me before. I called them and they asked me to pay to redo it. My nail wasn’t broken, it was the quality of the nail polish. Please don’t waste your money in this salon to do gelish polish.

Mimi who is based at JVC and Golden Mile is exceptionally good! No amount of appreciation will do her justice. After several horrific experiences in other salons she has restored my hair and color. She took time to listen to my concerns and wishes and did exactly as I was hoping. Her head massage is everything you need after a long day. I really hope she gets the reward she deserves

Today I was in the salon and I was looked after by the lovely Chelsea. She did my highlights for me and she fitted me in for extensions even with her busy schedule she did an amazing job and got the colour perfect. I am so happy with my new hair! Chelsea is the sweetest and made me feel so relaxed. She is amazing at what she does.

I had the most relaxing time getting a wash and blow dry so gentle and caring with your hair and Joseph was extremely kind

Such a shame because I wanted to be full of positivity for this place but I just cant. Feeling so frustrated. Yesterday afternoon I was a walk in, my friend was getting her nails done and they asked if I wanted anything done. First I said no but then joked and said well, if you can fit me in for a haircut.... absolutely we can, there will be a wait of 10 to 20 minutes I was like brilliant this place is rad. We get up to minute 30 of waiting, cool no worries Im a walk in, they misjudged the time. However over an hour later my mate had finished with her appointment and there was no hint of when hed be ready to start my cut (no blow dry). I wasnt annoyed here, like I said I was a walkin, slightly boring waiting in a chair for an hour when I could have been chatting to my friend. Side note - said friend informed me that for about 25 minutes the stylist Alaa was sat in the eyebrow treatment chairs just scrolling on his phone, something I didnt know until after the fact. So I made an appointment for this morning at 10am. I arrive at 5 to 10, lady on reception said Oh let me just call your stylist Alaa. Point to make here - if youre going to call the stylist who is late for their appointment dont do it in front of the customer on speakerphone so they can hear that he has over slept and then come lie to the customer that he will be only 30 minutes as his tire was flat. I told her to her to call him back and get a real time frame because Im relocating from Dubai in 48hrs I dont have time for around about times I had another appointment at 1pm. After the call back the time went up to 30 to 45 minutes, and I said to the receptionist (she was great not her fault obviously) lets be real thats at least an hour probably more and she agreed. The hair appointment will take at least 1 hour...meaning Ill be late for the rest of my appointments throughout the day. Something Im not prepared to do. So effectively, I paid for a taxi all the way to Five hotel in JVC and back again for no reason, wasting one of my last mornings in Dubai. Not impressed, if I could give 0 stars I would.

I came to Alaa for a balayage and he did a wonderful job, the colour was vibrant and matched the blonde well with my skin tone. I will definitely come up to have it touched up in future. Thank you for making me feel so special x
