AVOID! By all means avoid this disgusting place! I have never experienced such poor service! The poor attitude of the technicians, speaking on their own Tagalog, disgusting tools that never get sanitized, low quality products, you name it! This is how I left the salon! I was shocked to the point where I couldn’t even raise my concerns to the management! I am disgusted! Had to find another salon who removed this mess and my nails were so damaged that they couldn’t even do a new set! They use the lowest quality products that will leave you with permanent damage! Avoid by all means!

Chose to come here because of all the good reviews about Amy but I wish I didn’t! I wanted a neutral brown and ended up with a very warm, almost orange, UNEVEN brown. My hair is a whole different color on one side because that’s the side the assistant was bleaching while Amy did the other. Amy did tell me the color I wanted may or may not be achievable depending on how my black hair lifted but it actually lifted great to a blonde with no warm tones since I hadn’t dyed my hair in over 4 years. However, she then proceeded to put a dark toner to make my hair darker prior to putting the color which I was confused why she did. Pretty sure she did it by mistake and refused to take accountability for it. Amy might be good at making blonde hair blonder but I would not recommend her if you have brown or black hair!! I also agree with the reviews that say there are a lot of hidden costs because my all over bleach, color & blowout ended up being over $700 USD/ 2625 AED because they “had to charge for the extra bowls of bleach/color.” I attached pictures of what I wanted and what I got. It looks even worse in the sun 😭

I had an amazing time at The Salon Golden Mile! My nail tech ‘Maricho’ was fabulous as she did fantastic work on my nail extensions and she was very social and easy to collaborate with. This was my favorite visit at the salon branches so far!

Amy is the best blonde colourist ever. I have tried all the big London names but no one ever made my hair a perfect icy blonde except for Amy. She literally made my hair goals come true, with no damage. If you are looking for a truly incredible blonde in Dubai trust no other!

If you want to turn heads get your blow dry with Haymi… I have been with her for over four years and every single week she surprises me with her incredible talent. Any style you can imagine she executes with perfection. On top of everything she has the most amazing personality!! Thank you Haymi for making feel pretty every single time I leave the salon.

I love doing my nails here with Sarah ! She is amazing and honestly her work is always spectacular.Regarding the salon and its management:1- The stairs that take you down to the nail area is extremely dangerous, I fell really bad once as there is no rail on the wall or proper light, hence they are not adhering to health and safety regulations. One of the staff actually mentioned she fell and flipped down and I think I will take action with government for the safety of their employees since they dont care.2- They have a lot of hidden costs, one thing that I was not happy about was getting asked to do a specific service without telling me the price and I would get shocked and surprised by it at reception.3- One time they informed one of my friends that they had to charge her for a service that they forgot to charge her the last 4 services, which is astonishing trying to make someone pay again and extra for something they forgot to do.Overall I think management can do better in terms of safety of their employees and customers and also being more transparent and fair with prices.

I’m always so happy when I leave the salon, Sarah does my nails amazing and the best at nail art, I’ve also had hazil who is also amazing at nails, and Pilar amazing for a pedicure! There all so lovely and welcoming every time I visit, I highly recommend them all 😊

The best place my wife visited so far since we came in for holidays, she came out of the salon with her nails and hair perfectly done. Not to talk about the receptionist SAMA, she is one of a kind, very convincing and helpful even though we didn’t book any appointments she still welcomed my wife and to top it all she speaks French which made it easier for us to communicate while asking all our questions. Thank you to the entire team.

If you want your lashes done girls jerlanie is the best lash tech at the golden mile branch! Coming from the UK it was really hard for me to find a great lash tech after trying various others. I finally found Jerlanie. She is the sweetest most humble person I have ever met and she is truly great at what she does.

Today we had a bad experience my daughter’s hair is curly and she wanted to straighten it and curl the ends, the hair was not done properly roots we left un straightened. The ends were very frizzy. My daughter and I left very disappointed

The best salon in Dubai! I always have Amy and faith for my colour and blow dry and always leave feeling fantastic! Cannot recommend more!

One of the worst experiences I’ve had! Amy refused to listen to my concerns about the color after the implementation, instead blaming my hair’s condition and their another stylist. Management was not professional, defending her and making me feel completely dismissed. I left feeling awful with the damaged hair.

I will definitely do my lashes here again!! I am usually skeptical of trying a new place but I was happy to came across the Salon💖💖 I will 100% come back

I highly recommend Rebecca for lashes at the salon golden mile but make sure to ask for a room away from lady Tyler she is very loud, un polite, speaking a lot with her clients and she doesn’t know how to respect other people.I hope management will take any action regarding this issue specially this incident repeated 3 times with me.

Worst eyelashes experience and worst customer experience they did my lashes which took so much time and the lady was literally trying to dig it into my skin after 1hr and half of doing just one eye when I opened my eyes the lashes were blocking half my eyesight and it took her 15 mins to try to figure out what’s the problem just claiming that she did a perfect job then she said I will remove them for you if you want so I literally wasted two hours leaving the salon as I came with no lashes and burning eye. And the way the team handle it was like they don’t care about it and no one from their management will even consider it. WORST EXPERIENCE THEY ARE JUST A NAME

WORST EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE !!!!!I’ve sent them this:Hello , I would really like to say my experience with the 2 last visits I’ve had at the salon.On 13/01 I went for a haircut, change of chair color, lashes and nails .On 03/02 I went back to the salon to do my nails again.About the service of the 13th January, my hair is orange already and they said I need a toned (A TONER AFTER 3weeks?!?) this is nonsense as I’ve always had my hair bleached and even more bleached than now .With the eyelash extensions service I always had long lashes but I wanted volume , now I have an empty space in my left eyelid !!! I’m doing treatment to recover my eyelashes.If this was not enough, no one explained me that I had to pay extra for a treatment (I don’t remember the name it was something Gold) and they just put all that treatment in my hair without even asking me if I was ok to pay that. My surprise was that I’ve ended up paying more than 1.5k aed instead of the 1k I was expected to pay for all the services.As I am a reasonable person, and I don’t want to fight or blame someone, I just paid quietly expecting for this situation don’t happen again.My surprise was on 3 February when I went for a full class Manicure service now I have three infected nails that are not recovering yet and it’s painful .I am Surprise for the lack of customer service that you have even knowing that I’ve been going to your branch for more than a year every three weeks and always paying without any complain and now I see myself with an orange hair without eyelashes and with three infected nails.The first thing I want to say is that I’m not thinking about coming back to your salon for you to fix what you have done before what I’m asking is for this to escalate to your higher management and get a refund for the services badly provided .Thank you for understanding and let me know how to proceed. Thanks.SO FAR NO REPLY. Don’t go there

Most painful lash extensions experienced they put chunks sticking together it hurts alot this piece was on the beginning of my eye it hurts each time i blink it was like torture and it takes off my original lashes even tho i didn’t pulled them

Been going to The Salon for a very long time now. Among all branches I’ve been to, I love the one in Golden mille. It is very cute and cozy and they have the best and friendliest staff ever. They are very warm and very welcoming which is the the most important thing for me before the service. They are a very professional team and I’d like to mention Wen who i have been doing my nails with for more than a year and a half now. She is the most patient, meticulous and efficient lady. I always recommend her to my friends and for those who always ask where i do my nails from. My acrylic overlay nails always last me for more than a month in her good hands. Shes a very talented lady and she is a gem! She deserves a raise! 😊 Overall very happy with the staff and service. Was pleasantly surprised at the service of this salon. Got a standard gel mani-pedi with a 30 min back, shoulder and neck massage. The girls were super friendly and did a great job on the mani-pedi. The masseuse was amazing as well - I floated out of there. Will definitely come back.

Attracted by a great offer but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. the gel manicure is so thin that my natural nails starts to break. Not even a week later I have to go back to get a new manicure. I send picture and all they said was just u can come but you have to pay for that. I recommend investing elsewhere for a better gelmanicure that holds longer and not makes u nails break.

I come to the salon for Berly.. she is the best I have found for waxing. And she is so quick with her work. She takes care of her clients well and knows how to get best results. The salon itself is very stylish and clean and professional. I love the ambiance and friendly attitude of the staff.

Rosette and Berlie are brilliant! I have been coming here for a couple of months now instead of my usual salon because of how good the service is. They give great manicures and pedicures plus there’s so much colour choices to choose from!

Did my acrylic nail extensions here and was very dissapointed with the experience.The nail technician looked very miserable, it seemed like. The quality of extensions is horrible, rough, uneven filing, very poor quality.The downstairs nail area is more like a storage basement. Chair and floor were very dirty, looked like they just put few chairs in there without any effort. Poor hygiene.Not sure if they offer any refreshments at all, at least water in this heat.Will never be back and will not recommend it to anyone for nail extensions.

Abbey did my hair when I first moved to Dubai, and now I will never go to anyone else! She always does the perfect blonde balayage & fits my tape extensions so I never have any issues. She gives me tips to look after my hair between appointments & is overall just lovely! Would 1000% recommend Abbey for blonde magic!

I made an appointment to the branch “the palm” in the last minute they canceled me and sent me to this branch, I wanted to do a French and they told me they didnt have time, the manicure and pedicure service was ok but my toenails hurt because the technician didnt cut properly my nails due I have ingrown usually (told her).Negative experience! now I have to find another salon to sort it out

I have used this salon many times for mani-pedis but after my service yesterday combined with how they have dealt with their poor service, I will not be using them again.Yesterday I had a gel mani-pedi but my manicure service was terrible, the application was uneven with bobbly coats and uneven lines and, I had to go back and forth with the manicurist as she had made half of the nails round and the other half square round as well as not treating my cuticles at all.At the end of the service I explained to the receptionist the poor service and she agreed with the quality taking pictures for their reference.They offered to re-do the service then but, I had another commitment and didn’t want to spend an additional hour of my time in any case.I rescheduled for the following day but subsequently decided I was too busy to spend and additional hour to have them fixed that week.I asked them over WA to discount my next service ( I paid in full for this bad job) and their response was ‘we don’t offer discount’.I explained that I didn’t have the time to spend and extra hour and in all honesty shouldn’t have been charged fully for the sup-par service in any case and asked that a manager call me to rectify this.The response I received was ‘ you can get this redone within 5 days’.I would suggest you spend your money at a salon that gets it right the first time or values your time enough to compensate you if they don’t.

Starting from warm approach of lovely reception lady who admitted me without previous booking, gave mi 3 ladies to work on my mani and pedi gelish, very professional and happy technicians- all was done in less than 1h! Just unbelievable!Sara is lady who is Nail artist- will give her 10 start review if can 😍See you soon girls 💋

Just happened today!I have been visiting The Salon at Palm Jumeirah regularly for mani/pedi gel and always happy with Edna and Pilar who usually I do requests.I had awful experience with the receptionist today exactly for Christmas.8 days ago I did my regular pedi/mani and one of the nail polish chipped off.I went to fix without any complaining so can happen!No good evening or Merry Christmas-“I need to charge you”.It’s fine -I am not looking for free service -awful attitude, totally ruined my mood.Gel manicure usually should last 2-3 weeks ..however I even didn’t complain-I just wanted to be fix ,pay and go!!!On my way out I asked for the manager -wanted to share how welcome I was from this receptionist lady-answer -No Manager and no contact number to share my experience!This kind of receptionist can ruin all experience UNFORTUNATELY!

Had manicure and pedicure. was too strong smell in ground floor where they make manicure. After gel removal my nails were very damage.

Avoid at all cost. Never use for hair cuts or blow drys, you will leave looking like lord Farquad. Hairdresser did not look at inspiration photo. Had to do a blow dry twice. Gel mani pedi is bad (ships in less than a week). Pricing is predatory outside of packages.

I have struggled with my hair ever since moving to Dubai over 4 years ago, I couldn’t find anyone who just got it and was a natural with colour and repairing my damaged hair. Then I discovered Thea ( @styles_by_thea on Instagram) at The Salon and boy do I wish I found her years ago! She is so naturally talented with hair and has completely rejuvenated mine, repairing the damage, helping it grow with regular cuts and the colour is always bang on exactly what I ask for, always exceeding my expectations everytime! I honestly walk out feeling like a new woman! I honestly cannot recommend her enough - I won’t go anywhere or to anyone else!
