Tips and Toes City Centre Mirdif

This was my first visit to Tips and Toes City Center Mirdif and they assigned to me Jenny and Mariechris to do my nails.. I was amazed by their perfection with doing my nails.. They both were so polite, respectful and caring as I was not feeling well when I arrived.. I highly recommend them as they are passionate about their work and will always ensure client is happy with the service.. This is my new favorite destination for doing my nails! Special thanks to the management and receptionist as they also managed to get me my medication I really appreciate it!

Forget about their great work; the team is so nice. They feel like a “breath of fresh air!”10000/10 for customer service. So welcoming and friendly!!

I love this place. They do a good manicure and pedicure, great massages, and great eyebrow threading. Every time I come I am so relaxed and have a great time. The staff is also very sweet. Service is 10/10

One month ago on 11th of June I did gel remove in this salon as I’m one of the member . The Filipino lady who removed my nail with machine , and totally damaged my nail. It’s been 1 month my nail is still super thin , redness and easy to broken . It’s so annoying. You should give your staff proper training how to use the machine and they should be always keep a thin layer. And she was fully confident that know how to use it but I think she just being lazy

Worst service ever . Try to talk to them over the line they send me call center to disrespect me over the phone stating they have a problem with their land line . Staff mona and tifanny were the worst fooling me and giving me wrong information to get ride of my call. They basically took the money of my voucher and didn’t want to do the service . I have never encountered such untrained unpolitical and I respectful ppl working in customer service

Do not and i repeat, DO NOT come here, especially for lashes. I never normally leave reviews on anything, but this is my first.. i’m not too sure about the quality of the nails, but i went there with my mum this morning for a lash lift and it was absolutely atrocious. The woman was completely unqualified, she burnt both mine and my mothers lids, there’s glue and dye still all over our faces, she left the perming solution on too long which caused the lashes to become over processed resulting in my lashes curling into my lids. (Not to mention it took and hour and a half, + no refund) My mother had to squeeze my hand because the “lash tech” had gotten so much solution in her eyes. I really wanted this to be a good experience for my mother as it was her first lash lift, but she’s completely scarred and tells me “never again”… i had to pay another 275 on top of the money they wouldn’t refund me, to go and get them redone properly at my regular salon. Much prefer Bianco at DSO. Do not come here..

Do not get gel polish done here. It peeled off in two days. Management didn’t want to give complimentary cleaning so wasn’t allowed to have my cuticles.

First off, the nail technician Puna, amazing! 5 stars to her! If it wasnt for her I would have walked out the salon.The team leader Mary Grace needs further coaching and training on her people skills. Her body language immediately changed when I asked to have the colour on my toes redone.I asked for a specific colour and was told by her its not available. Given that she only gave me 1 colour palette.While Puna was doing my manicure she showed me a darker shade of blue similar to what I originally wanted. So I asked for my toes to be redone and immediately Mary Grace changed her attitude towards me.The pedicurist; Claire was similarly rude as well. Like I had made a huge injustice wanting my colour changed.I saddens me that a Team leader was unable to think outside the box and also offer different shades from a different palette.However, if it wasnt for Puna I would have left the salon. Great job Puna and thank you for taking ur time with me. I truly appreciate your service!

Worst experience ever. Did gelish and it was peeling off after 2days. Went back to fix it the technician did not really care and was putting the new colour in a messy way. Asked her to fix she didn’t even bother she kept blaming my cuticles and she didn’t even try to fix it.Told her to remove everything since she doesn’t care and she left me with messy nails she didn’t even bother to clean my nails properly.The services are not for free and not worth the price.Asked for my money back, they said they don’t give the money back…I will never go back to this salon anymore. Very bad customer service and service recovery.This is really bad towards the customer…I gave you two chances and went twice to get the issue solved and this picture is the outcome.You should refund my money since you didn’t give the service you are supposed to. This is unacceptable. Customers are not being taken serious

It is 28th June and I had booked an appointment via phone for 9:30 pm for eyelash removal. I live 2 mins away from MCC but today the mall had a massive sale and parking was a problem. Nevertheless, I was in the parking area by 9:15 as I am generally very punctual. I got a call at 9:15 from the salon to enquire if I was coming to which I answered I was in the parking and trying to find one. Then I got a call again at 9:20 if I was coming, to which I replied the same as I was unable to find a parking. Then I got a call at 9:25 stating if I arrive later than 9:30, they’d cancel my appointment. Salons in general give 5-10 mins of buffer time, I thought this was very rude but I was parking at this time so I said I’m going to be there in 3-4 mins(walking time). I reached at 9:32, APOLOGISED and mentioned how strange their policy was! No response other than a cold smile. But this is not the reason for 1 star. Within a minute the technician started doing the removal process. I told her I have skin prone to allergies and dermatitis, to try and avoid chemical on skin to whatever extent she could- NO RESPONSE. I repeat, yet no response.At this point after five minutes of chemical application she starts telling me how horrible the work of the lash technician who did my lashes was. I tell her I have been getting it done from the same salon for the past seven years and I am a happy client. Just that their technician, who is now a friend too, is out of country that ai chose Tips and Toes. For the next 15 minutes she continues to tell me that the glue is bad, the work is bad, that it wouldn’t come off… at this point I got mad and with closed eyes said- “then you should have analysed it before you started. After 15 minutes you cannot say they are not coming off’. NO RESPONSE. At this point there is a lot applied on my lashes and eyelids (skin too) and I tell her my eyes are burning. NO RESPONSE. I repeat loudly, with closed eyes. NO RESPONSE. I repeat again- then she comments again on the horrible work done instead of doing something to relieve me of that pain. She rubs more chemical and at this point I am literally moaning in pain. She continues saying that for such work on lashes I will have to be patient. Despite the burning sensation I sit silently. At this point I hear metal and realise she is either using tweezers or scissors. I ask her what it was and she said she had to use tweezers as the technician had done a horrible job with a strong glue. My mind- Strong glue so that eyelash stays… isn’t that the idea? I say nothing. Finally after 35-40 mins she is able to complete the process, leaving me with itchy, watery eyes with piercing sensation. She says- next time get lashes done here, not there and leaves. Really???????????? I AM WRITING THIS WITH SWOLLEN EYES AND A HEAVY HEART! I want a call back. My number is with you in the system under the same name that I am using to write this review! I will wait for a call!!!

This branch is pretty great, albeit small. I go there regularly for mani/pedi and my nails last for a good two weeks. Amelia in particular is an amazing masseuse - soft hands, perfect pressure and calm demeanor. I would recommend them any day.

I went here for a full body Tips and Toes Signature Massage. The masseuse was Ms. Amelia who was really nice. It was a good experience. 4 stars only because I wished the ambiance was better.

As a person who had been waxing for 10+ years this is the worst place for waxing. I have had a good experience in the festival city branch and the Jumeira branch so I had high expectations for the Mirdif branch to be the same. The lady who waxed me, Ms. Alina, was informed beforehand about my sensitive and acne prone skin but failed to understand the assignment. She was very inconsistent while waxing, going in every different direction, left so many unwaxed patches of hair, used very thick layers of wax which in result was extremely painful and ineffective, and even put wax on my skin again and again where it had already been waxed which resulted in bleeding and burns and bruises in many areas of my legs, arms, and face. She was highly inexperienced where I had to tell her what to do all the time, did everything a waxing technician was not supposed to do, and then blamed me for having more hair and sensitive skin, she does not deserve to be called a waxing technician in the first place. After waxing she did not apply ice or anything of the sort to my skin, instead she put oil! OIL ON MY BURNED AND BRUISED SKIN! The whole experience was highly unprofessional also leaving me with inflamed skin and acne. Lastly I got NO REFUNDS! please all of you ladies stay safe and never come here ever. If it was possible I could add some photos but as a hijabi I won’t reveal my skin.

I have been dealing with them for a long time, the Al Barsha branch but the City Center Mirdif branch two months ago I started going there but for the second time I was infected with influenza from the eyelashes worker. Also I pay to install the eyelashes one by one but the worker did not install the eyelashes one by one and she does not wear a mask and this was lowered and cleaned. Also my nail tools are not sterilized and my nails have bacteria in them

UPDATE July 2022Walked in looking for a pedicure with classic polish but the receptionist understood polish change. After I waited for an hour cause they were very busy (understandable, its Saturday) the technician told me Im booked only for polish change as they are fully booked. Receptionist kept insisting she was right, not even a single apology.From 5 stars to 1 star.Cannot recommend this place enough.The salon is a bit small but the service is great and professional.I did waxing before and the technician was confident and well-trained.Ruby is truly the best! Everytime I walk in with sore feet and after she does my pedi all the pain is gone. Keep up the good work ladies!

Got my nails done twice but both the times either some flipped off or began to peel off from nails beds within a week. Technicians are good but don’t know what goes wrong!!! Not satisfied.

They have the very very best nail technician in this branch which is Chris and Rica, they know how to communicate with the costumers, they can do what nail art design you want specially when Chris is the one who will do your nails❤️

I had only planned on getting a manicure and nail polish done, only to discover that Tips and Toes also does eyebrow threading and tinting. I was very impressed at the service they provided and at a reasonable price. The staff made sure to make me feel comfortable and relaxed, and were very professional in performing their duties. Ruby was responsible for threading and tinting my eyebrows, and made sure I was comfortable and did a fantastic job. Lorena was responsible for my manicure and nail polish, and did her job with complete efficiency.

Staff are kind and very accommodating, they did Soigné for my nails to last. 5 stars good services 5 stars Filipina ladies.

I asked the lady not to cut my cuticles but only cut the excess on the sides. She went ahead and cut everything off ... she didn’t file my nails right, they were rough at the top and sides.When it came to the color l... it was just horrible. Missing on some spots or too light.I let her finish to see if she would notice the job she had done. She didn’t ... I went to the reception and complained. They basically ignored me and told me the total price right away ... the only time they paid attention to me always when I said I am not paying for this manicure.I didn’t have time to stay for them to fix it. Asked them to remove the polish. The lady removing my polish didn’t even believe I just had a manicure done .. that’s how bad it was.They need to work on their customer service and make sure the job they are doing is done the right way.

I recently went to tips and toes MCC branch to get a gel manicure. Had a bad and disappointing experience as within 2 days the gel polish is cracked on my nails and already falling out . Will never recommend anyone to do gel manicure in Tips and toes . Please see the pic attached.

Terrible! Will never ever go here again. Avoid this place. I wanted to Treat my daughters but it was a waste of time and money. One daughter wanted manicure and gel. She was really excited. Manicure was a 5 min job. No soaking hands just rushed in sat down quick file and not much effort in manicure at all. They had the audacity to phone later to say we owed another 10 AED as my daughter innocently asked for something extra but they did t tell her it would be more at the time. 130 for a rushed bad job. By the wedding one nail had already chipped. My second small one they simple sat down applied polish fast in 6 mins. Nothing special!! I could have done that for 50 AED. No care not relaxing. Busy rushed in rushed out . No place to sit afterwards. Crowded . Not quiet. It is an obvious big cash machine with no care for clients. Will never go here again and wish I could have my money back as what was supposed to be a lovely relaxing treat BUT was not. Definitely won’t feel pampered here!The day before I had gone myself to another salon and there offered coffee , had quiet music, took time, did extra for no extra charge , they took the time and cared about you and it was a lovely pampering relaxing experience. Here they only care about making $$ definitely NOT the customer . AVOID!

You want to charge people to wait and have only one UV light for gelish? The whole branch has one UV light so I have to wait to get either my hands or feet done first? So much for convenience. Never seen such unprofessional service. Like I’m sorry we have 6 chairs but one UV light.

Place is neat and clean and efficient.Made the mistake of signing up as a member which forces me to go to this place now for my mani pedi because Ive paid for it. Every time, the moment Im on that chair its like having a bunch of sharks surrounding you to hard sell additional things. And they dont take the first no as an answer. Ask me before, during and after a massage. I end up saying yes during a weak moment or not understanding what Ive said yes to and with a whopping additional bill added.Remind your staff that all a customer wants when she comes there is to relax and enjoy the services she signed up for. Stop upselling.Your front desk has no idea who you are even if youve come there every month for the last 4-5 months.

Scheduled an appointment and when we came the name was on the system but the technicians were working with other walk-in clients while we had a confirmed appt at z same time. Extremely unprofessional team

This is the worst branch ever and the staff is not professional or well trained. I complained to the manager multiple times and to the head office with absolutely no improvement from them. Their only feedback is saying sorry but not training the staff or improving the service. Any normal salon in mirdif is better and I feel cheated for my membership fees which I paid in advance.

Very bad experience I went for a gelish manicure and 2 nails repare. They were late for 30min lying to me each 5min telling me that it won’t take than 2min then the nail that they repare broke after just 5hours and finally when I went back to repare it the nail is not even the same size than the other nails. I’m very disappointed I had to tell her to at least check with the other nail. I don’t recommend at all this branch or even brand

This is the worst place not even salon that one can go to. I went first time i sufferd a lot after. Worst wax worst service no worth the money they take. Then was obliged to go back there i asked the front desk lady about the price she smiled and told me she needs to check with technician what a stupid idea but i said ok i thought like other salon it is ok i pay later i did not knoe that this a way to take extra money i asked the technicien if they use same product and i explained it damaged my skin before she said no.. After finishing my skin was as if burning and again doing work wrong way. After i went out to ask she told a price 100 more than last time i did i told her check i did same service for less money she pretended to write on paper... And when she found i was right she told me they just forgot to charge me. How is that they ask many times and check again and again with technician to make sure if you add other services so how they forget. when she realized that i was sure and everything in front of her she told me that t was before new updates. What a cheap way to misslead people and technichian kept insisting that i make package which was unbelievably expencive even if i said gently no maybe next time. Above all my skin is totally damaged. Please dont go there and if you go make sure of the price before even entering even record because they always find a way.

The worst experience ever from Midriff Br and your contact centre team (Emmy) I came on 10th June and the way they did filing to my nails was very bad I asked for square and it ended with something else which casued a damage to my nail and gelish as well and when I contacted your call centre rep who has no idea about customer service she have not helped me at all and when I requested for a manager she said there is no manager and no even a senior staff! Is this what you name it customer experience! I need a call back by the management to fix my issue otherwise I will reach out to the consumer rights

I did my lashes with Claire in this branch and they looked natural and beautiful, she is an artist ✨this branch is a bit smaller but the chairs are always comfortable and the ladies always take care of you

After 3,5 years of going to pedicure in Dubai I have never got a toe infection, first time I come to tips and toes I got infection in 3 toes, this is so unacceptable. They blamed it on ingrown skin which I don’t have.To be fair they did try to fix it with no charge and apologized but still I won’t be coming back for sure especially after they charge extra for piling the heels which is included in the pedicure in any other salon.

Unprofessional work. Took an appointment, went to the salon and I was told that I had no appointment when the name I took the appointment with was written on the girl’s desktop.There was no one to do my nails when I came on time for my nail appointment.

Went to the saloon for manicure and pedicure. Love the service ,staff was coperative and polite .

Unprofessional unwelcoming and rude staff.Refused to use my discount card for my daughter although I explained that she cannot have her own card as she is under 18.Insisted on taking my phone number even before any other questions were answered.Will not recommend. Had my lashes done at MCC branch - worst lash experience ever ..: I went in because I wanted my lashes made more fuller and the technician redid them and it looks terrible, worse than when I came in, no volume at all, she didn’t stagger the lengths right and it looks like I have about 5 lashes in each eye. Terrible! Going to have to go and have them redone at another salon tomorrow

The salon is a little small, it feels cramped and making a reservation is unnecessarily lengthy but its super clean, the ladies are friendly and Ms. Puna is my favorite she is very patient and attentive!

Friendly, professional and easy access to Mirdif and Al Warqa residents. Taking 100% all the safety measures during covid. I feel very comfortable and relaxed when i visit them. Easy appointments, can accommodate you and go the extra mile as well. I can say the only down part that its an open salon, dont expect quite environment as the mall is quite busy and they dont have a door to close to reduce the noise but u are not exposed to the outsiders in any way.

I’m not an avid facial person as I have extremely sensitive skin, hence I read up and check a lot of reviews before I choose a product or a salon to get a facial. I heard rave reviews from celebrities to common us who had only great things to say about Glamglow facials and products. I finally decided to try it at a trusted/tested salon tipsandtoesme (Mirdif Branch, which I’m trying for the first time) . This was my first try also at getting a GLAM Glow Facial (I usually do an organic or dermalogica facial) and needless to say I’m hooked to this product . The smell of the product was pleasant, it felt smooth and light on my skin and the therapist at the salon was highly professional. I choose the Glam Glow illuminating facial. After the facial my skin felt super dewy and hydrated. I did not have reaction to the product, which means it’s mild and of high quality (most products leave my skin irritated). The whole process was 40mins and it was done by professional hands ( the only down side was that it was done on a recliner chair and not a spa room, which I would have loved) But for the price and for a quick facial what i received was great value for money. The illuminating facial is great for all skin types but if you have dry skin, you need this stuff in your life because it will work wonders on you! The facial left my skin super glowing for 5days.

I had such a great experience with the Turkish Hamam at the Barsha branch that I purchased 2 more of it for my family as part of an ongoing offer, which comes to around AED 200 per session and its so worth it and Ill definitely be coming back!However, I also decided to color my hair and the hair stylist was extremely pushy and kept trying to sell me their package and other products throughout even after I said no, which honestly ruined the whole experience. Also, I assumed that since Im paying AED 700 for applying a single hair color, they would at the least blow dry my hair properly. However, she informed me after the wash that it would cost AED 150 more to dry my hair.. to which I said no. Then she made it seem as though shes doing me a favor by agreeing to dry my hair a tad, which she did quite aggresively and even then the back was still not fully dry let alone blow dried. The color came out alright and Im yet to see how long it will last, however, feel like its not worth the price.

Very bad experience, very unprofessional staff and manager. I had a gift voucher and they didn’t accept it because it expired for only12 hours!!! Almost 300 aed I lost .They didn’t accept to do something or to propose sometime else at least !!Stay far from them

The place to be

I have been dealing with them for many years, but this is the first time I visit the Mirdif branch. The service is just okay

Very bad work, very large and thick braids, and the price never matches the work, and every time there is no respect for the customer, they try to change the girl who started working with me, and she is not satisfied with this.

I tried the nails and eyelashes, they are very natural and their work is nice. Although the salon is small, the work is good

The services are excellent, but the place is tightOne room for massage, waxing, and a rest room for female employeesIn addition, when performing a massage, external sound is heard in the roomThe massage room can be a quiet place to relaxI would like to see the place
