This is the absolute worst hair salon experience I have ever had! Wassim the owner gave me the worst curtain bangs and will nag at you till you do what he suggests. He also put a ‘coconut treatment’ on my way to remove the frizz when I asked multiple times if my natural curly hair will get ruined and he assured me multiple times that it just removes the frizz and when I asked to see the treatment they kept postponing until I made them! I googled the product and they put keratin treatment in hair and completely ruined my curls! I had very curly hair and now it’s so flat that it looks oily. My hair is completely ruined and there is nothing I can do about it! Once I asked another hair dresser about my hair and they were shocked at what had been done to my hair!

Arlene was heaven-sent! Had to book an appointment in less than 24hrs and she found a way to secure the best hairstylist, Mr Wassim. They were flexible in our request for an earlier appoinment, even calling Mr Wassin before the appointment to make sure we start on time.Weve sent inspiration of rthe low bun were after and Mr Wassim did in in less than 40mins. Our previous appointments in different salons take 1.5hrs for the same hairstyle. They truly are experts!!!Thank you for taking care of us Arlene and Mr Wassim!Great service and team.

I had a very disappointing experience at the salon. The owner was extremely money-driven, and despite me explaining that my hair wouldn’t hold the dye, he insisted it would work perfectly fine. Unfortunately, just three weeks later, the color completely faded. There was absolutely no honesty or professionalism in their service. I would never go back again

I had a blunt bob. Was staying at the hotel, so thought I would get a trim. Surprisingly, trim at this salon means chop off half my hair in uneven layers that I never wanted or asked for. Unfortunately, I didnt pay attention to Wassim while he cut my hair because 1) I assumed a trim shouldnt be that complex, 2) I was speaking to the woman who did my nails.I complained, they said they would refund the ungodly amount I was charged (IMO not enough because I defo need extensions now). They asked for my bank details for the refund, and a month later still nothing! I went to get a treatment at my usual salon back in Riyadh and my hairstylist was so shocked she took 360 photos of my hair to show me how choppy and uneven the haircut is.The sad part is I had incredibly thick hair that now looks lank and uneven. It will take months to grow out. I cried my eyes out the first few days because I couldnt believe how ugly the cut was..Ive never in my life seen my hair in such a state.Worse is when I reached out, Wassim tried to deny everything then claimed Im complaining a month later trying to grab at some cash when I actually complained two days after but they did not honour their promise to refund. And yes, I do want my money back because Ill be damned if I lined the pockets of someone who absolutely ruined my hair.Its either a refund, or refund + damages for breach of contract and professional negligence + recomp of all the trips Ill be doing settling this in court. Salons choice.

I recently visited wassimsteve Hair Salon for a haircut, and I must say it was the worst salon experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that something was off about the place.The staff seemed unhappy and unmotivated, and it was evident that they were not being treated well by the owner. The atmosphere was tense, and it made for an uncomfortable visit. Its truly disheartening to see employees being mistreated in this way.As for the haircut itself, it was a disaster. I had asked for a simple trim, but the stylist completely ignored my instructions and ended up giving me a choppy, uneven cut that I had to rush to another salon to fix. It was a complete waste of time and money.I would strongly advise anyone thinking of visiting wassim Steve Hair Salon to think twice and consider supporting a business that values both its customers and its employees. This was an experience I wont soon forget, and not in a good way.

As a hairdresser of 20 years booking a blow-dry appointment in this salon as I was staying in the hotel was a treat. I do tend to visit a salon on all my holidays to see and experience the standard of hairdresser throughout the world.. very welcoming staff but zero consultation with stylist before my service started I already knew it wasnt a good starting point but I stayed positive.. after a cold hair wash because there was no hot water,when seated the stylist told me how he was going to style my hair instead of asking me how I wanted it. Granted it was 7pm Saturday evening and it was clear he wanted to finish quick. I left with flat roots sub standard finish and zero care on my wants or needs. Over priced and zero interpersonal skills. Dont waste your times and money.. I went to my room and had to redo my hair myself after 230dollars wasted

The staff are very friendly, but the hair dresser was so unfriendly, looked like he was in a rush and not in the mood at all. I had an appointment booked but I was very close to saying “if this is not a good day, I can reschedule” ( I regret biting my tongue). I thought to myself, I’ve seen his haircuts on instagram and he’s good at what he does so I don’t care about the attitude. He finished the haircut in 10 mins and immediately disappeared. When I got the blow dry I noticed that one side of my bangs is much longer than the other so I asked the staff to call the hairdresser to fix that part. He came (also rushing) and quickly cut a part of the long section and disappeared again). It was still not looking good. The right side just looked weird. So I pointed it out to the staff again. They looked scared to call him again, so one of the staff volunteered to do it and I let him because I wasn’t going to walk out like that. He tried to fix it but my bangs still look very weird and can’t be controlled or blow dried properly because the cut is just choppy and uneven.I know he’s good at what he does because I’ve seen his work. But clearly his mood will impact the result. I wish I read the reviews here before going. I relied on instagram pictures and that was a mistake.

I had the most unpleased experience ever. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone. The stylist arrived late after postponing my appointment and gave me the worst haircut ever. My hair is crooked. They are highly overpriced and the service in return is not worth it.

Hello, Mr. Ihab, its been almost two months since I went to your salon to do ONLY a simple coloring which cost me around 700aed. I immediately reported to you that the skin of my head was burned and I had to shave all my hair… I sent you the proofs the photos you promised me a refund but after all my complaints you no longer gave sign of life. know that I am very very disappointed and I really regret my visit to your salon. I had the worst experience ever in this salon. Went for a blow dry and ended up paying a fortune for a haircut I didnt even ask for! I was told its only to cut the dead ends and ended up with uneven layers! I wouldnt recommend Islam and the salon to anyone at all.

When we visited the salon for the first time to book an appointment for my sister wedding with mr wassim we talked to him and made appointment with a deal that he he will make the bride hair and her sisters and on the wedding day he refused to do our hair and he said only the bride although we made a deal but he just lied to us to book an appointment,if we knew that we wouldn’t book in his salon, also they kept the bride waiting for an hour and he got us late, overall we didn’t like either the make up or the hair we thought it will be waw but it was fair nether waw or not good

My review of my experience at Handsome Steve SalonI will share my experience with all honesty and objectivity, without any intention to offend or defame, but to serve as a reference for anyone thinking of visiting this salon.First, I had high expectations based on his reputation and work with celebrities, but my experience with the dye was not at all satisfactory. I was supposed to do a strand test before starting, especially after I told him I use Sidr on my hair. Unfortunately, this was not done, and he ended up justifying the problem as being due to the siddur or even asking illogical questions, such as “What is your zodiac sign?”, which is unprofessional.The end result of the dye was far from what he had promised me, and when I tried to discuss it with him, the response was always that he was right and I was wrong. Even with one blonde strand and one orange strand clearly visible, he denied it until I showed him the pictures in front of him. This type of treatment makes the client feel disrespected, especially with illogical justifications and belittlement of the clients mind.I also noticed that the salon lacks some of the basics expected from a place that claims professionalism, such as having an electronic payment machine (POS) and relies only on transferring via STC Pay or paying in cash, which is inconvenient and unsafe in some cases.Based on my experience, I think a salon may be suitable for just hair styling or quick styling, but when it comes to more complex services like coloring, it is not the most suitable option. Also, focusing on selling products seems to be a greater priority for them than customer satisfaction with the service.My advice: If you are looking for a professional dye service, it is probably best to look for another place that has more experience and more interest in customer satisfaction.

I cut my hair and dyed my highlights with Waseem for two days and the color changed to orange. He gave me a brown Rensage that I used after two weeks. I followed the instructions exactly and used it and the dye disappeared. I paid 1750 for a cut and dye and it flew in the air.

My experience was with Omar. He took care of my hair in a very wonderful and gentle way. I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves and fears for her hair.Of course, the creative and handsome man did not fall short. Thank you from the heart
