Zaki Salon - Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm, Dubai

I got a manicure and pedicure. The worst ever. They painted my toe nails and the polish has ruined my nails. It had to be scraped off and it wasn’t even a gel polish! Would not recommend at all.

It was a good experience and i’ll come back again definitely, special thanks to Mr. fadi for everything, he was so caring and considering for me to be satisfying by his work and it was amazing.My hair after hair dyeing so silky i don’t suffer after dye ingredients.Also the pedicure and manicure was very nice the nail polish doesn’t destroyed immediately as i do it in any other salon!❤️

10 years in Dubai and have never had service this good!Wow what a team you have in this location and the team that came to support from other branches!The best pedicures and blow drys I have ever had!And my dad looks like a different person after his hair cut and shave!Already booked my future appointments!Thank you so much!You made my family’s dayReally no words for how great today wasThank you again and again

The service was okay, I had my eyebrows (microblading) done by Adam. However, Im not fully satisfied with the final result especially for the premium price i paid. Disapointed.

I had a blow dry and treatment. Staff is friendly and the salon is clean and spacious. I didnt like how my hair looked like after the blow dry though. And rather expensive.

I had the worst experience in this salon and paid 350 on actually nothingFirst of all the hair dresser couldnt curl my hair ( his excuse that when they washed my hair they put too much conditioner which never happened to me ever in any salon all over the world ) he put my hair for seconds under the curling iron and he wanted to be done !! Which is unreasonable .Second of all when i got home to see my hair all my extensions were shown , he didnt make any effort to hide them . Never had such a bad experience in Dubai or any where in the world . Its really bad work .

One thing that’s synonymous with Dubai is exceptional customer service, however in the case of Zaki Salon located at the beautiful Taj Exotica, this was not the case. There was no one to greet us upon arrival for our 3pm appointment, a separate member of staff from the pool was ushering in another client and politely told us to take a seat and someone would be with us shortly.15 mins after our appointment time we eventually got called over, no offer of tea, coffee, water etc, with the actual treatment starting 23mins late. Note; there was no apology about this or explanation provided. The environment and atmosphere was very haphazard, a lot of attention was being given to another client who had been ushered in ahead of us who was either late for her original appointment or a VIP either way the service level between her and I was disparate.I had been asked to confirm what treatment I booked a total of 8 times (2 regular polish pedicures, 1 gel manicure and 1 regular polish manicure) simply enough but apparently forgettable. As mentioned before, the environment and service was haphazard, my hands were placed on a glove box for my manicure, there was only one UV lamp to dry the nails which was being occupied by the feet of the VIP client, after her feet had finished drying, I was then given the lamp to balance on my leg to dry my nails, Note: I had to request for them to clean the lamp given the fact someone’s foot had just been inside it! Anyway, lamp cleaned and balancing on my knee whilst my feet were being prepped for my pedicure. They were extremely behind time and asked if I wanted a dry foot scrub instead, umm no please just do the service I had booked ahead of time and arrived promptly for. As they were now rushing as by this time not only were they behind schedule but had also made me late, she painted my toes and used tissue to separate them (not unusual but not standard for something marketed as luxury).I settled the bill only to realise they had charged me for a gel pedicure (8 times I confirmed my treatments only for them to still get it wrong!) I went back and told them, the lady first tried to convince me I had in fact had gel on my toes (clearly I’m an imbecile who does not know the difference) she then got the other lady who did the pedicure to confirm she used regular polish, then she tried to convince me to come back to get the gels done and lastly offered to redo my feet colour on another day. They also did not realise that I speak a few languages and understood when they said “it’s only 50 AED, it’s nothing” firstly please don’t assume to know what is or is not something to another person, secondly I have no issue in tipping, in fact I tip over 30% as standard when I’m in Dubai as service is usually incredibly and I usually can’t help but myself as I want to show appreciation and gratitude, however in this instance, given the indifference in the attitude of the staff, the overall experience and the atmosphere, a tip was not deserved or earned.I’m not going back for the change of colour, nor will I ever visit this Zaki salon again, it’s a shame as let’s down an otherwise beautiful stay at the taj hotel.

I used their services for hair styling and hair trimming at Taj Exotica Palm Jumeirah. First I used for hair styling - beachy waves which I loved it, their products are amazing. Hair usually gets dry and rough after using hair curlers but mine were fine and they stayed wavy for quite a long time…I had many wavy strands until next day 🤩 stylist name is Maher and he’s just brilliant. Very polite, good customer service, passionate about his work. Job done for him is when he’s completely satisfied and also checks if the customer is happy too which comes only when you are passionate about what you do, only then can magic happen 😊. So if you haven’t tried, please do. Maher you are amazing, yours hands are magical. Keep up the good work Zaki team 👍🏻👍🏻 loved your service

I discovered the Zaki salon during my stay at Sofitel The Palm last month. Adnan did cut my hair so everyone liked it. Today I decided to return to have my hair cut again by Adnan and was also offered pedicure and manicure done in a very relaxing way. I highly recommend this place and Adnan services.

The guy very professional but the service for 225 aed is too expensive for 60 aed other saloons include cut clean ears nose massage tonic for hairs . Not completely negative but for this money you should have more . Zaki at Taj hotel
