I went for a haircut, mani pedi & massage. The staff at the salon is excellent and they give great attention to detail. I specially want to thank Sheeren for a beautiful cut, Agung for massage and Marycris for mani pedi. Receptionist Shefali is very sweet and responsive. The prices are really economical as well in comparison to others in the market. I highly recommend this salon & will definitely be back!

The cutting edge gents salon was terrible. The guy doing my haircut was unprofessional, when he used the brush I felt how my hair was torn out, when shaving under my ears I felt pain in my ears because he was harsh. Won’t come back.

Cutting edge is my go-to salon for any sudden event. The place is always clean and spacious, and Im consistently impressed by the work of Aishas Marynor neat and detailed.Editha as well. I recently got my hair cut, and Sheeren did an amazing job styling it.

I liked their manicure and pedicure service.I recently got gel nail extensions done here. I was lucky enough to enquire other branches where they told me that nail extensions are around 400, but after disount its 200.In Ibn batuta Mall, they quoted me higher prices, and after arguing, they quoted me 200.The nail extensions were of so cheap quality that within 24 hours, one of the nails broke while I got that fixed. The same night, two more nails broke.I dont recommend this salon they offer lower rates with low quality resultsUpdate: it has been 4 or 5 days and all of them came off

I strongly advise against visiting the Cutting Edge gents’ salon next to this place. There’s an older barber there who clearly doesn’t care about what the customer wants. I asked for a simple trim on the sides, but he didn’t even bother to pay attention and cut my hair carelessly. On top of that, the hygiene is terrible and the barber himself doesn’t seem to maintain basic cleanliness. I’m leaving this review because I’m beyond frustrated with the disrespectful service I received. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Amazing experience at the salon.Have been going here since years now.I visited the salon yesterday after 4 years (since i live in the US), they recognized me and welcomed me with the same warmth like before.Met Maryam(the sweetest), Sara(my hair dresser,absolutely amazing at her job),Brinda,Elizabeth,and all other staff members are really friendly and helpful.Ghazal (the manager) is really helpful and accomodating.Overall the best for all services and would recommend it to everyone.

I had a facial booked with Afshan. She is an excellent professional and recommended me the right facial for my skin type. I ended up spending much more than I planned but I was happy with the result. We had some language difficulties since were both not native English speakers but we managed to understand each other. I will definitely come back!I also had a full body massage with Bella. The massage was very relaxing. Would highly recommend!The temperature in the rooms is a bit too cold though and should be adjusted.

L did my facial today Jan 4, 2025 130pm at Ibn Batuta Mall Cutting Edge. A Senior Staff from Pakistan did my facial. I forgot her name.The facial was far from relaxing. The therapist massaged my face roughly. When I told her she was doing it roughly, she told me it is the right way including black heads removal. The entire process felt extremely rushed, around 30 to 35 minutes including the removal of whiteheads. Having experienced facials in multiple countries, this was by far the most disappointing and unpleasant experience. She was also using her phone and talking to someone while she was doing the facial.

Absolutely loved my experience at the salon. Got mani pedi done along with a 20 min neck & shoulder massage, while enjoying the aesthetic decor and soothing music. Loved the experience. Gonna go back for hydra facial . They have special offers for October. Fruit facial 99 AED, full body massage for 149 AED, and hydra facial for 299AED.Anjali did my manicure and nail art..great job👍🏼👌

I had my hair done by Shireen last week. I was intending to do just cut and hair colour but eventually went for treatment as well. It was the best decision as my hair has never felt this soft and shiny for a longest time. She was good and patient with the process. Photo is after a week didnt have time to go back for a wash but its ok. Still loving the texture and look of it.

I came from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and I had my hair cut, roots dyed, and full hair dyed with correction by Kalthoum. She was wonderful. I left the salon very satisfied and happy with the change. She pampered me. She is a cheerful and wonderful person who brings happiness. I did not feel the time when I was with her, as if it was fast. If I had known that I would be in this situation, I would not have hesitated for a moment to come to her. Three months ago, when I arrived in Dubai, I took a salon from Coupon in Al Barsha, and it was very bad. I recommend dealing with her, as she is distinguished and has great experience in hair. My hair was not damaged at all, as if I had not done anything to it. You are truly lucky to have Kalthoum with you.

I had my soft gel nail extensions removed last January 11, 2024. It was my first time to do soft gel nail extensions in a different salon hence first time to have it removed but at Cutting Edge IBN Battuta Branch. I didn’t know what to expect with the removal procedure if it’s normal that it feels hot and painful. Then I realized and looked closely on my nails, they are too thin, delicate and painful (see pic with reddish nails because of bruising of nail beds). I was hoping they will heal sooner but now my nails are ugly and easily gets ripped because they are too thin already. :(

Found this place randomly at the mall. Came in as a walk in customer for my waxing. Their technician Afshan was a true gem! She understood my sensitive skin and recommended a wax accordingly. The best part was that there was no burning post wax session and I was done within 30 minutes (full body wax)Highly recommend the place and do ask for Afshan for waxing and skin related problems!

Recently I visited cutting edge branch ibn Batuta Mall. First thing I loved the atmosphere. Parlour maintained so neat and clean and that pink colour it was just superb. Beautifully decorated. I went for hair treatment. Manager who is managing this Parlour is really down to earth and humble and very cooperative. She took me to right person needs for my treatment. Cutting Edge has always been my go-to salon post Covid.Shefali is a lovely lady, never failed to provide a topnotch front desk customer service, she’s a delight to deal with - always patient to explain available deals, services, etc. She’s bubbly and a charming lady.On the otherhand, Gazal, the Manager, is def approachable and an amazing lady. She takes effort to present herself fab before the clients. She dresses well and looks after her appearance worthy of being the face of the salon but was never intimidating but as a matter of fact is tender hearted and kind.Imelda, the nail technician, has been looking after my nails from day 1. Her eye for details is impeccable and am always grateful and amazed with the perfection my nails look after her work. She does magic with my nails♥️I also love the interior of the salon♥️

I’ve been to this place for several times and never disappoint me until yesterday. Indian staff are very noise that they dont consider the peace of mind of their client and they asked me to paid 105 for hard gelish nail removal which is not properly explain not even done at first place. Yes my nails is being damaged due to my previous polish from other salon but i thought of visiting your Salon will makes my experience better but im wrong money is not a matter but your service was totally disaster except to the lady who cleaned my foot. In future train the Team how to be professional in a way of communicating and process. See the photos as well how she did my hands kids can do better.

The past few weeks were horrendous at work. I was feeling so down. Then, thanks to my friend Rose, who made all the arrangements, something wonderful happened: Cutting Edge came to my work premises. Imee gave me a head massage while Novi applied pressure on my feet. 20 minutes of pure heaven. Both masseuses were highly professional and attentive using just the right amount of pressure. The massages themselves were perfectly soothing and theraputic. I left the session feeling lighter, more relaxed and incredibly refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone looki g to unwind and recharge.

I went to visit Cutting Edge and had Afshan she treated me to a genuinely fabulous experience, which is hard to come by when youre talking about waxing! The place was lovely, and she was attentive, thorough, and extremely professional. I love her she’s the BEST. The Lycon wax that she introduced(or perhaps just the technique?) was *far* less painful than other experiences. I went for basic clean up services and I was charged excessively ...without even my knowlege of what other options are available. They did not seek my opinion as to what product I want to use.. instead billed the most expensive one for mere basic cleanup. Scammers making fool out of people and feeling proud of doing that while giving cunning smiles amongst each other.

I got a massage last week in cutting edge IBN Battuta, I must say it caught my attention for a time now as if looks so good from the outside and offers a 99aed massage. It wa my birthday and I was excited to try, to my dismay, the inside is not as good as it looks as the outside- especially the massage area. I really felt uncomfortable the whole time. Massage for me means relaxing, comfort and the room atleast should be cozy but I didnt get any of that. Anyway I just had to finish the 1 hr and let it go. The day after I felt a pain on my thumb and thought that it was normal as we get muscle pain due to the pressure every after massage. However it worsens every single day and I had to go to a doctor to have it checked. Turns out it got a bad sprain and i have to wear a wrist and thumb support and drink pain killer as it was getting too painful. NEVER AGAIN. I would suggest you guys to go to a proper spa salon and pay a little extra instead of paying extra to go to a doctor :(

The ambiance of the room was calming lit up with nice tea candles.I was left speechless from my experience at the spa that I quickly asked Gazal the Salon manager if she would be able to fit both my daughters in for a massage too at short notice as we were due to fly out that evening. After a long hiatus, I finally came back to have my mani and pedi with Maricris. She does my nails with lots of care. She is amazing.Unfortunately, during my visit, was a little too much to handle. It was really distracting and very unprofessional. Two other staff criticizing each other inside the salon. It started with one hairdresser coming in with their salon manager. the hairdresser started to talk about how irate she was bec of her other colleagues work. While the other person stayed in one of the rooms talking back. I am disappointed bec the manager did not do anything to pacify the situation. She just sat on one of the chairs and started to have her root color done.We often go to the salon to relax, today was not that day! It was loud and full of emotions.

I came for a quick trim and Fatima and Sajid were very hospitable and made it feel very comfortable. Will come again!

Extremely bad service. I went to do my haircut and clearly mentioned I wanted my length to stay below shoulder, the hairdresser didnt even bother to listen or acknowledge. She cut my hair way shorter than expected and when I merely asked her if she was going to cut shorter, she started getting angry, tried to pick a fight and claimed how I knew nothing about haircuts. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

One of the worst salons I have ever experienced in Dubai in the past 20 years. I had pedicure with them and the tools they used was not sanitized and my toes are infected. I’m definitely complaining on this salon.

I came to cutting edge for the first time, I got my skin consultation done by afshan, as my skin was too tanned and I had a lot of blackheads, she suggested I get Dr renauds facial done with machine. I had not expected the facial would be this nice. My skin feels so soft and fresh. I am surely going to visit again and be a regular client to afshan. They didn’t play music in the relaxing body massage session. The lady that trimmed my hair made one side longer than the other. When I realized the other day and went to them, they blamed me for not noticing that one side was longer before I left!! And when they fixed it they had to chop it that it was really short.Awful experience and will never go to that place again.
