For the salon with the name cutting edge it was very difficult to explain what I imagine a regular haircut is.They have dry cutting, and every wash or drying of hair is extra. The Moroccan lady who cut my hair was washing my hair with cold water, and when I asked to trim my hair she was not able to find correct scissors.Won’t come back, and won’t recommend for sure 🙈I forgot to mentionI was not offered a drink but when I asked for it as I got so cold after cold hair wash, no one wanted to assist her, so the lady forgot to make it, until I asked second time and she made it herself. The rest of the stuff was juts free but was not helping her.Better try new salon G bar opening in cluster L soon for good serviceOverall the salon has a lot to improve.

The staff are really professional specially the one in JLT Branch where I always go to for my weekly Manicure and Pedicure with Imei and Matilda. Rubina, Elisabeth are excellent hair expert and stylist and Pooja, Sofie and Dikhsya has amazing talent. Diksha the receptionist in JLT is super professional and of course Gazal the Salon Manager always try to make customer happy and easy to work with. I had a big event (fashion show) and needing MUAs and Hairstylists for the models, I was confused whom should I hire but Dikshya convinced me that her team has amazing talents, after the trial I was convinced to hire the team to do Make Up and Hair Do for the Models, and it was right, i was super happy with the result and the mentioned team was super helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this salon and the team. And I would definitely partner again if any opportunity comes

It was a great pampering time, the staff is very cooperative. And i had great and quick manicure pedicure service. The Olaplex treatment for my hair was approx for 2.5 hrs where i completely loved my hair.

Had a great time at cutting edge at their JLT Branch . Got my nails done - was quick , efficient & done very professionally . Lasted me a good 25 days and didn’t chip or come off even once .. very commendable quality of ambience and services . Definitely will be trying more services with them and update those too here in the reviews . They hv good offers and some good staffs all r extremely polite but some staffs need to understand diverted when a customer say what exactly they need. I am a regular customer usually for the weekdays 50% off I do manicure, pedicure and basicsI hv sensitive hand skin and so I only get nail cutting, filing, polish massage for manicure and strictly ask not to use any alchol related itemsIt was Diwali time I again went in for same service an extra smart staff (Filipino) gave me lecture on the alchol items they use are antiseptic and stuff and basically used it and now my cuticles r pealing like some chemical application . Will attach the pic which after almost a month and still my cuticles r not recovered. YOU JUST LOST A REGULAR CUSTOMER !! Whatever offer I am not coming back there

The manicure was done very professionally. All their equipment is well sanitized.Very all organization salon.I got a haircut and blow-dry. She did remarkable job. Just the way i wanted.They have 2 branches -- in jlt and the marina. I visited the jlt branch.

I never felt my hair was healthier because of Majida. She does the an amazing job with hair styling, cuts and coloring.

I totally love my pampering session at this salon. Took a gelish Manicure and pedicure with chair body massage and Olaplex treatment for my hair which made my hair really healthy and even the hairfall has reduced considerably.

I’ve heard a lot about them and so gave them a try , really liked it and the service was great although it was tad bit slow but it was definitely worth it the manicure and pedicure was absolutely perfect and the hair cut was amazing also I loved the fact they have their price range at very affordable rates , and this has become my favorite salon now

Highly recommended, especially for short haircuts. I have been visiting the Cluster U, JLT branch for almost 3 yrs, getting a haircut every 2 months, always requesting Ms. Lyns services. She excels at her job, providing suggestions and giving you a look that complements your face shape and hair quality. She considers details like how much volume to keep and how much to cut from the back of the neck or the forehead. She pays attention to all these minor details.People often ask me where I got this haircut and I always refer them to this branch and especially to Ms. Lyn.🤩

Booked a fruit facial. The facial lady kept telling me how my skin is so dry and I should book a hydra facial. You book a facial to feel good about yourself not to be told your skin isnt good. And this is to someone who gets a lot of compliments on her skin glow. She kept saying get this done, get that done. And the facial she did give was okay at best. She only focused on the face when the neck and shoulder area is also included. It was quite disappointing.

Very disappointed with the overall experience. Took an appointment for gel polish removal. The stylist assisting me not only exhibited a lack of competence but also displayed a complete disregard for hygiene and attention to detail. Throughout the procedure, her own nail polish kept smudging onto my hands, leaving me feeling extremely uncomfortable and frustrated.The fact that the stylists nail polish was consistently transferring onto my hands indicates a severe lack of professionalism and proper training. It is simply unacceptable for a service provider to exhibit such carelessness and disregard for basic hygiene standards. This experience has left me questioning the overall quality and competence of salon.

The ease of taking appointment is there they surely try and accommodate. The staff is warm and nice. I like them all with their expertise. I love Ms pooja who is so good and perfect in her waxing and doing my eyebrows and there is so much comfort and no pain. On the other hand Ms. Maritese is superb in her pedicure and fantastic massages. She is splendid the way she finds pressure point and eases a tired body. Surely recommended for the services, cleanliness and the cute ambience. Will be back soon! Keep the good work girls! !

Dont recommend. Theyre not experienced with various hair types even though they claim to be. Staff keep telling you to get this and get that- just tryna get money out of you. Overall, do not go.

This place is great value for money and both the massage and nail specialists are very skilled.I am afraid the only issue is the staff member at the reception: I have been to Cutting Edge a few times and I have never seen her smile. Unfortunately she comes across as a bit rude. For instance, when you approach her to book an appointment or even pay, she looks at you as if you are annoying and she is doing you a favour; she also tends to speak in her language and laugh with her colleagues while she is assisting you. I am truly sorry to say she does not reflect the professionalism of most of her colleagues.

Good Service. On all 3-beautician who attended me.Marites who did may pedicure, foot spa and foot massage (really relaxing) was patient and careful cleaning my feet and nail she did a great job.Puja the one who did my bikini waxing is amazing as well shes very careful and this is the first time i dont have pain during and after the waxing.Last one is Amina who did my brows, and she is very gentle and did a great job as well.All of them has a nice attitude and very professional as well.

I went twice within 5 weeks to this salon and I can honestly say that it was a very pleased experience. ✨️The girls there (Nail techs and hair dressers are wonderful). ⭐️I would like to thank the wonderful Amna, sweetest most respectful lady I have ever met in my life ❤️ who did a wonderful mani for me, both times.And also Imee who did my pedi, both times as well. She is so articulate and careful and the only nail tech that actually does the needed scrubbing for your feet. Very bad experience. Was told basic pedicure (without nail varnish) would last 45 mins to 1 hour and include some massage but it lasted 30 mins with very little massage. I said I would pay extra for extra massage time - while having this the woman from the payment till came and said can you make payment now (while I was mid-treatment). On stating that I was still having my treatment she remarked “I have to do the closing of the till”) - this was at 9.15 and they close at 10pm.Afterwards when I said the pedicure had only lasted 30 mins the woman stated that it can vary from 20 mins to 1hr 15 mins and it depends on speed of the therapist - I advised her that this is not what she had said at the start. The therapist was good but treatment time is part of the experience and I was also interrupted while getting an extra paid massage.The woman at payment till kept repeating that the charge would remain the same and didn’t seem bothered that I would not return again and leave a bad review. I paid 150 dirhams and came out feeling dissatisfied and hence this review.The front desk woman really needs some training in customer relations and long term vision.

I got my haircut done from Raheela Kashif in JLT. And hands down she has to be the best hair dresser they have on board. I have been a client of cutting edge for nearly 2 years now and none of the hair stylists are as good as her. She understand exactly what you want in one go and ensures that your length stays the same, whilst giving you a completely new look. She’s super friendly and easy to talk to and I really enjoyed my hair appointment at cutting edge. Also, I only went to get my sister’s hair done but looking at Raheela’s work I just had to get a haircut too.

I have never been satisfied with hair coloring but after getting it done from here, I am so very happy. Rahila understood exactly what I needed and gave me the best color. Also everybody here is very friendly and professional, they pamper all their customers and makes sure they leave the salon happy. Guess I am going to be their regular customer.

Cutting edge has been my go to Saloon since it was open, living in JLT it was my preferred parlor for weekly services due to proximity, most of the staff have been very friendly and kind. There were issues with double bookings and handling issues back in time but now has been resolved. Prices are quite reasonable.

I just got my hair services from Rahila. She is the sweetest. I was scared in the beginning because i have never experimented much on my hair . She gave me the exact look i wanted. Loved the services. Sonia and the other receptionist is also very nice.

Amazing services from JLT staff.I suggest for massage best is imee, when I saw her massage another client, I knew I had to get her hands on my brick shoulders. She did a fab job releasing the pressure and making me feel more comfortable.For my nails ; Manicure / Pedicure are Itan and Komang. My nails are usually brittle and breaking , they managed to give me a shape and making it look beautiful.And for wax threading is rahila. Her job is painless.Really happy with their services.

I booked mani pedi and hair trimThe lady doing the hair trim was very sick and then the lady who came to do the manicure is also very sick!!! So I canceled….I spoke to manager and I said if your staff is sick they should go home as there is a new virus and as a customer I don’t want to get infected.. they didn’t seem to care… not acceptable…

I got great lengths hair extensions at Cutting Edge Hair Lounge. I absolutely LOVE the extensions and had the best experience with Lynn. I have extremely thin hair and had some not great experiences with tape-ins previously, so I was a bit nervous, but really wanted longer, thicker hair for my wedding. Lynn was very knowledgeable and helpful in making the right choices for my hair type and really took time putting them in to make sure they were perfect.

I usually go for waxing services here, its great. This is the second time I got a haircut here. Twas lovely! Sharmila, my hair stylist was amazing as always. She is super kind and patient- makes sure youre happy with the result and also gives her insight. Definitely recommend it for salon services. Super friendly staff.

Great job by Pooja who did my HYDRA FACIAL : Firstly I have a very sensitive skin and I started having acne that was leaving scars on my face. My face was full of marks. Pooja recommended me to go for Hydra facial. I visited this salon for the first time yesterday and I asked for a curly blow dry. The receptionist said it would be 90. I agreed . After couple of minutes she said oh you need your hair washed as well so it would be total of 130, I readily agreed. I was asked to go in, the towel used was filthy, the place I was to sit was dirty with all hair around where the stylist blowed it away with the hair dryer. I was shocked.She started using the flat brush . And I said look I want a curly blow dry do u want to use the round brush instead and she said don’t you worry. My hair was flat and she curled it with the straightener. Worst ever blow dry I have ever had. The stylist was just lazy and couldn’t be bothered .

They are very unprofessionalI did yesterday my nails gel extension for 500AED and one of my nails is gone this morning !!!!I text them on WhatsApp and told them I am coming to fix it after work they said ok.When I came to fix it they told me the lady that did my nails is not here anymore and no one can fix it.I waited for 10mins for another lady to finish her client, she went after it immediately and no body even cares.The experience was miserable and the reception lady is very unprofessional too.Very very bad experience

I booked an appointment for a massage and only after reaching the salon I was informed that my appointment has been cancelled. The receptionist was very casual about the whole thing. The salon is unorganized and poorly managed. The prices may be attractive but lacks quality. Guess you get what you pay for.

Following my official filed complaint against this company- I know would like to share my personal & my sisters experience with anyone wanting to visit this salon. Im writing this as i have been mistreated to the core & it saddens me that in a country with so much importance paid to quality service- such salons are still allowed to exist. Their prices are on the lower end- which is the catch. For me it was important that it was in the same building as I have a baby and cant be away from home for too long. Yet, if you care not to have your hair damaged (My hair was severely damaged after a toner treatment & blow-dry that left my hair dry & unmanageable & you dont want to invite your sister for a visit to the hairdresser that ends us in badly done highlights - inches apart from your roots- maybe scan the area and choose a place that cares to make you happy. After all- even when my sister was promised to get the hair mess up fixed- the alternate hairdresser also didnt show up. I neither received my money back- although i was asked to come to the salon and receive my refund by the salon manager- saying dont worry, just come and we will refund and had to pay another salon to fix my sisters hair, nor did they keep their promise, by the salon owner who lives in the same building and still doesnt bother to come and meet an upset client in person. The owner promised me a credit note- which was also said to Dubai Consumer Office- yet, when i called to enquire on multiple occasions- i was firstly ignored & lastly told that there was no credit note. Anyway- last point which is more important than anything else- hygiene is neither a top nor any priority at all to their management. I asked multiple times to have the nail area cleaned prior to my service- as to say the least- it doesnt tick any boxes linked to regular & current COVID 19 related hygiene standards.

Horrible experience with booking/appointment. First, they had a different time in their system than the time I booked and received a confirmation text for and wanted me to wait. Then, I made an appointment for manicure/pedicure and they only gave me a manicure and never sent a nail tech to my chair to do the pedicure. The nail tech was excellent but the booking mistakes and cleanliness (literally three flies were my knee at one point) were so bad I wont be returning.

I had visited this place for hair cut and blow dry. Ashita hair stylist gave me an amazing hair cut. She recommended me hair cut that would suit my personality and it looks amazing. Thank you Ashita i will definitely come back again to you always.

They keep on changing the therapists, so it makes my mind little doubtful on how my service is going to be with new person! I recently visited this place and while paying I got to know that I was billed for a service which I didn’t take! So I clarified when I saw a big amount! Sadly the receptionist didn’t know when I came and said “ you came after 4pm so you are getting 25% discount” and I visited on Sunday thinking it was 50% as they always give. Just a suggestion on reception part that they should be little polite and should know their job well.

Disappointing that the Anti Aging Facial is only Facial Massage! Very old school procedure, they better keep up like other face salons that use high tech devices to properly clean the face. Does not mention what products she is about to put on my face. Towels looks used. The brush used for face mask stinks. Unfortunately I will not come back.

An extremely relaxing experience. I felt rejuvenated and energized after the reflexology session and would definitely recommend Cutting Edge if are are in need of some down time and TLC to relieve the stress.

Haircut in this place is really bad it feels like they dont know how to take care of customers. I was asking the stylist what style is good and she just cut my hair. The receptionist was also rude. The place is chaos! You cannot even relax.

-My sister and I went and ,unfortunately the lady who did padicure was not professional and,honest enough to say “she does not know how to remove that type of skin Ingrow nails”-My sister 2 big toes in her feet completely swollen and for me my right foot the big toe is swollen. Was our first and last time.-The lady who did the manicure was good though she removes a lot of skin, which is not healthy for the hands too.Thanks for nothing to that shop. Not recommended at all.

I had several hair services booked at the JLT branch. I arrived and waited 15 minutes to begin my hair color, I had it on for 45 mins after color applied and the stylist continued to attend to 3 other clients, whilst I waited. I eventually left with only having my roots touch up and wet hair, because she was busy with other clients.Worst customer service and zero empathy nor integrity. That’s what you get when you go cheap 😡

Extremely bad service and rude staff in the JLT branch. Booked eyelash tinting and got questioned whether I prefer to tint upper or bottom lashes. And when I said both I was told that this service cannot be provided (???). I highly recommend to avoid this salon if you dont want to waste your time and money.

I went to cutting edge for my underarms waxing sometime back, they had completely ruined it, and I was literally in pain for two days. Complained to the management all they said was to apply aloe Vera. Risking thinking it will improve went today for my underarms, I am in pain again. The waxing was HORRIBLE, the techniques everything is so wrong, I am literally in pain and regretting the moment I decided to go for my waxing here.

I regret going there. Yes the place looks decent, but the ambiance is zero. The staff are polite but not professional. Definitely not going back. Probably wouldn’t try any other chains of same name either.

I asked for the repair of ONE toenail, that’s all.It took almost 3 hours because they kept doing it wrong, and each time they had to file away the previous and now I feel like my nail is as thin as paper. I don’t want to leave a bad review because the ladies who did it were super lovely and so kind and patient however, with the price that I paid, I expected it to last more than 4 days, in fact the price I paid to fix one toe cost almost as much as the price to do gellish for TWO FEET, for one toe... and it lasted 4 days before it broke off once again, all I did was walk... I am still in pain and very dissatisfied with the quality given for the price I paid, I don’t even want to return to get it fixed here, it’d be an expensive waste

Rude nail technician - Cherissa. This was the third time I was given this technician. Her demeanor is rude & unpleasant. She gets annoyed if you tell her that you need nails to be done in a certain way. Im very picky, last time she changed the shape of my nails without asking me, no apologies. I complained to the owner of the salon earlier and was given a diff technician but today since she was not available, I ended up with Cherissa again, clearly this womans attitude hasnt changed. I wanted 3 coats, she argued with me over that and nail paint I choose. Didnt lotion at the end. Did a Lousy job.

Worst Experience ever i had!! ❌️I went for a hairspa, that started with a hair wash and applied mask and she washed all of a sudden and moved to a chair with steamer, and again she washed and send me after blow dry. I wonder how can i call it as a spa?Even with a 10min massage or even application of mask/cream?? Really unprofessional service. When i asked for an explanation, they are telling sonething unretable. How come such a salon run in this place-JltPLEASE DONT VISIT!!❌️

I had a massage done by Apple D. She was fantastic! I highly recommend if you need a massage after your flight or right before you leave or whenever. Great value and killer specials.

The reception service was bad, the ladies cant get my order right and they keep messing it up. The way they talk is rude and they cant communicate well. However, Matilda (I hope I got her name right) and Lyn saved the day. Ive never been handled by nail technicians as professional, passionate, patient, and funny like them. They were so much into details. If it wasnt because of them, I will never go back to this place.

Did my eyebrow threading the person who did is in a hurry, not even bother to let me check if everything is good. Then I did my eyelash perm, supposed to be lifting but they dont have, eyelash perm and eyelash is totally different and it turn out nothing happen. Definitely not coming back again.

Hi I am coming to cutting edge for the past 5 years. My favorite salon. But for the past 3 months I dont like to visit cutting edge because the reception people. Even u call and get appointment you need to wait for 1 hour and forcefully asking to take some other services in waiting time. That is trick I feel. The owner must check these.

I really liked the service that my friend and I got at cutting edge. Surbhi and Rupali are very friendly and made sure we got what we wanted. Opa was the one that did my manicure already for the second time and its really good and long lasting. Defined coming back.

The hairstylist named Leen, she only doea what she wants to do, not listening to what the customer wants , no understanding of how to make a customer comfortable. She cut almost 8 inches ofbmy long hair and chopped them up so crudely. If you try to stop or make her listen she only keeps saying wait, let me finish, i know what im foing. In the end, huge disappointment!!! A good hairstylist os not someone who can copy excatky froma picture, a good hairstylist is someone who can listen and customise as per what the client wants.

I didn’t even visit yet this salon, but already disappointed!!! I booked yesterday trough Fresha at 5:45 for my pedicure and now they are telling me this timing is not available. It’s not acceptable !!! I could book somewhere else and manage my time!!! Never been and will never visit .

The worst service..and staff. Before 4 days I got treatment my nails. Now my 3 nails broken. I asked them for gel+ manikur they did gelish. After my call that my nails broken then say answer it was gelish and they are saying this is you problem.

The ladies working in the Marina branch are kind and professional but there is an extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist who calls herself a manager .She has upset many people including me several times and has knowingly made mistakes in calculating packages more than once. She charges for services which were never done .She shouts at the top of her voice and has no courtesy how to behave with customers!!!Extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour of hers would deter you from even calling them.

Very unprofessional service overall. The receptionist or the so called manager will force you to pay more than what is intended. Very dishonest crowd at the reception. The salon is unorganized and poorly managed. Only interested in cheating customers and finding ways to get out more money!

I went for the first time to do my gelish manicure and pedicure and in a week I need to go two more times to fix my gelish on hands cause gel just piled off and on my feet gel totally changed colour. I will never go again, just waisting of time

Paying 150 Dhs for a anti fall hair treatment, using a manual hot towel steamer 🧐🧐 on which era are we?I could’ve done it at home you people. 🤬🤬 By getting a 6 Dhs hair mask and using the same methodology without soaking my formal shirt for god’s sake.And when I asked about the steamer, they said the steamer dries the hair........ seriously 😐
