I had a terrible experience here with the Brazilian blowout service. This is my second time availing this at the salon. I had explained to the stylist that my hair ends are not catching the product properly and to take extra care in application stage. However after i went home and washed after couple of days my fear came true. It was perfectly done on top and bottom..especially hair at the back was still curly/ wavy. After couple of washes the ends look completely different from the top. They are frizzy and dry while top is smooth and straight.I called the salon asking them to redo and they they cannot and i will be charged again. We all know that this is an expensive service... so me having to do it a second time is already damaging on my hair and Im expected to pay for this. Ive never experienced this level of bad service at any other salon. I do not recommend this place for hair services at all. No stars!

I got my hair streaks done from here recently and paid a bomb. However a few streaks on the crown looked uneven and too yellow. When I contacted the salon the very next day to correct the unevenness and harshness of my streaks, they immediately bolted into action. Did rootmelting for me and toning and now I am loving my hair and yes they didn’t charge anything extra. 5 stars for reliability of the staff and extra thanks to Emily for turning around my hair.

I visited this Salon for the very first time and tried if the hairstylish will be able to do my hair as per my instructions, for my desired hairstyle and color. To my surprise the lady who did for me exceeded my expectation I am not sure if I got the name right sounds Emeli or Emelyn. It was indeed a great result and perfectly done. i left the Salon feeling so happy for the exemplary job the lady did for me, I will surely come back to this Salon and informmy friends and family to visit.

I had a pedicure at JVT gladys with Nora. She was very good at her work and accepted all my demands and preferences. She advised paraffin treatment for my feet which was quite relaxing. And Also gave a very good massage to my feet and legs. Thanks Nora😊

I’ve been a loyal client of Gladys Saloon JVT for quite some time, always expecting quality service. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me extremely disappointed. After a dye job, I left the salon with large, noticeable stains on my forehead and eyebrows that staff didn’t manage to remove despite attempts to clean it off. Not only was I unhappy with the outcome, but I was also shocked by the bill—567 AED for dye and a blow-dry! For that price, I expected professionalism and attention to detail, but it felt like the service was rushed and careless.I’m genuinely disappointed and would advise potential customers to look elsewhere if they’re looking for high-quality service.

Kenned the new receptionist lacks the clarity on why they charge differently for a clinet who has been constant in the salon for over 2 years (same service!). What was worst was the fact that she blamed all past employees stating they were not aware of the charges and that she joined here new and what she says is correct (rubbish!). I felt I was cheated after being a regular to this salon and branch fr more than 2 years!!!I dont recommend.

I have extremely thick hair with a coil pattern. I had the absolute best experience with Najla! She is excellent. I tried the BB treatment and my hair responded amazingly. Even better my hair color is simply beautiful with no heat damage! I will recommend Najla every time.

The salon is a bit expensive, but Emily did my hair so well! Shes so sweet! If i would come back its just because no one did my hair that good before!

Nana is a miracle worker! My latest set of French tips came out stunning. Kris did a super pedi - all their techs are wonderful though and quality of work is consistent.

I am a customer for a long time in JVT branch , but now they become a very expensive for the same treatment I always do.unfortunately the owner is moving the good stuff from the JVT branch to other branches , if the owner keep doing this , she are going to loss many customers

They quoted me a price for my hair and I had done the same before, so expected same price. After waiting my turn 15 mins they decided to double the price. That their prices have changed. Double? Each time I go its a different price. So ask first

I am a regular customer of Gladys JVT. I’m always very happy with the services and the staff is always pleasant. Today I was extremely shocked! I had an appointment booked with Sam for a wash and blow dry. When I arrived to the salon there was only one customer that Sam who she was half way done with. In the reception they told me your appointment was changed on the system to another person. I told her I don’t mind waiting for Sam. Sam then started shouting and said let her do her hair with another person I’m busy. Then the lady in the reception asked her she can wait for you how many minutes do you have left she said I don’t know I can’t tell you exactly how many minutes. Although she was done in 15 minutes and after I washed my hair she was free and there was no other customer in the salon she refused to do my hair and went straight inside. This was a very awkward behavior for me and very questionable. The salon was completely empty and I was the only one there. I was not comfortable and not ready to try someone completely new to do my hair today. I preferred someone I tried before like Sam. I am very disappointed from the attitude and service today. Totally unacceptable.

Today I visited Gladys like I do most weeks I have been a loyal client for years. Firstly to be told my regular hairdresser was moved to another branch. Secondly, Then I assume to be the owner walked in to scold staff loudly and speak in the most unprofessional manner giving loud feedback on shortfalls. As I made a complaint to the person concerned . I was told I was having a bad day. The salon have since lost a loyal customer after the treatment I received today by the owner.

Amazing, my first haircut since moving to Dubai . I was really nervous as I have short blonde hair. Anna-Lee was a true experienced, professional that knows her trade. Thank you so much. I feel compelled to write this review after being a loyal customer of theirs for nearly 7 years (3 years in their Marina branch and 4 years in their JVC branch). I was forced to leave the Marina branch as their hairdresser caused a massive knot in my hair while washing that 4 other staff members had to help cut my hair from the knot she created. This was a week before my wedding! No compensation or apology was ever made from their side.A year later my friend and I (trusting my forgiving nature) decided to try the JVC branch and since then I have always appreciated their service, and held them on a pedestal to the Marina branch. However, lately I have been absolutely appalled at how they are constantly giving me different (more expensive) prices for the same services which I have been doing for years. 2 price changes in a span of a week, and this wasn’t the first time it has happened. I turned a blind eye many times but I am revolted at their treatment of a loyal customer. Loyalty unfortunately means nothing to them unless theyre making an extra buck off of you!I will miss Kris, Nana, Emily, Jona but this is unfortunately the last time I will ever trust a Gladys salon again and this is why I will not recommend them to anyone.

I love this place and I would highly recommend it. Najla is the one you should go for if you need anything to be done regarding yoir hair. You would never get out of the salon unhappy. Love her work ❤️

This place is wonderful. The ladies are excellent and professional. If youre in a hurry, they will put two ladies on the job to get your blow-dry done and ALSO two ladies to do a manicure (if they are available and have time to do it). I have known them since they opened in JVT and to be honest, their quality remains, and they work hard. Definitely recommend this place. Emilys work on my hair was awesome!

Had a really nice experience, haircut by Ann who is really good and had a massage by the lovely nana who is Thai so she had a lot of experience with Thai massages. The staff was efficient, skilled and courteous. The salon is really spacious and clean.

They are in my neighborhood, and been using their services for a few years, I always come for quick blowdries with Sam and the other girls are always helpful with massages! I also love how affordable the prices are!

I always come to Gladys JVT Branch. They have an amazing staff, good people good Vibes. For manicure and pedicure u must try (Kris) and (Nana) they are the best I always ask about them when I need to do my nails. There is also (Ratna),I ask about her when u need to do waxing, shes amazing. You must visit this salon

I had my eyelashes done at the salon by Mimi and she did an amazing job. I did a natural set of lashes and it came out perfect.I would like to also highlight that Gladys (the owner) is such a professional lady that made sure I was well taken care of as she does with all her clients.I definitely recommend this salon 🥰

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but this place was awful! After getting a “facial” and a very simple haircut, I came home to an uneven haircut and burnt skin the next morning. My baby hairs which I LOVE have turned blonde because I was told that facials include bleach and they can’t not use it! I have a small patch of hair missing on one spot too (not noticeable but I can tell as it’s missing from my baby hairs!!). Never, ever again. I do have other complaints but I won’t bother to write them because I think the above should be enough to make people avoid! If I could give a minus 0 star, I would. Shocking that these places are even open for business.

It was great to be able to book online outside of the salons hours and receive confirmation promptly. After going to a number of overpriced unpleasant salons where it was unclear what I would spend, this salon was very refreshing. They had a list of well priced packages to choose from, my hairstylist Nelly was warm and took time to clarify and understand what I wanted. For the first time, I left a salon with my hair exactly the way I liked it cut and blow dried. I also got some threading done and was told the price of each item so it was clear before they started. I was convinced to do my eyebrows and the person who did them (didn’t catch her name) made my skinny eyebrows look fuller just by cleaning them up! I was in an out in an hour feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Thanks for the pleasant and professional experience, will definitely be back again.

I had been their loyal customer since a year now. Recently I had black burn marks after waxing on both my hands and both underarms. I understand not their fault and it happens. I very calmly asked them to correct it for me and refund my money. They didnt bother to call me which they said they will after speaking to their management nor did I get my money back. Their staff called me once and disconnected before I could say anything and when i went to the saloon again for follow up I was told the staff is busy come again later. Pathetic after service and no respect for customers. If management sees this message please take necessary action. Thank you!!!

I have been going there for almost 10 months now after horrible eyebrow threading in over 5 different saloons in dubai Gladys is the best Retna is extremely good and understands exactly what you want and do it. For blow dry they are also great with exceptional price and my hair lasts for a good while! I love their service and how friendly they are but The only bad point is the low quality of their gel polish they are very professional but the quality of the polish is really bad and cracks in a matter of 2 days while gel usually lasts with me to up to 2 weeks.

Professional and friendly staff. I was first apprehensive about going to a salon during these C19 days, but I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place and how the C19 precautionary measures are taken well into consideration. Was a good experience.

3 stars for the technicians, they gave amazing service I would have given 5 stars but the management of this business needs to not take 5aed from ppl using debit or credit cards, any hairdresser that adopt this methods arent pursuing the consumer rights friendly standards, they are pathetic and greedy. AED 2 is a credit card fee paid only at petrol station. It is not the cost but the unfriendliness behind it when you visit for fhe first time, it is on the wall, and staff reminds you about it with conviction from their management, pathetic and disgusting

I went once but going back in a few days for my genius mani pedi. Really good prices for Thai service and the polish stays for 3-4weeks even.

My experience was funny and I wanted to share it here. Before New Years Eve, I decided to change my hair color. I dyed it on my own at home and it turned out to be an orange color, like the color of my hair *hahahaha* Hahaha, I was confused after the color was amazing. I went to this salon when they first told me that there were Arab hairdressers, and I was happy. I met a son and I was afraid. I didn’t know if we would be able to get rid of the ugly color that I had on him or not. Praise be to God, she gave me the color and it turned out amazing. Her work is amazing, she has a long mind, and she deals at the top with honesty.Thank you, Najla, and to all the team who follow the salon.
