N.Bar Nail Spa & Salon Dubai Festival City

So disappointed with not only the service but product as well. We went in Tuesday noon to the dubai festival city branch (appointment for Neda) wanting hard gel extensions and mid process the nail artist suggested “flash extensions” which is more suitable to last 2-3 weeks. We specifically asked if its the same price as hard gel and she said yes multiple times, hence we went ahead with that. I also specifically asked if it will last me atleast 2 weeks and she said definitely yes. We proceed to pay only to find out this service actually costed double of hard gel extensions (445dhs) for a simple colored french tip. We hoped despite the misleading information and outrageous price, the nails would atleast last me 2-3 weeks. As a tourist from Australia, i have never come across such misleading information firstly and also such bad quality service that is SO expensive.This is the result with hardly one week. One nail has already come off.After returning home i also noticed the overall finish of the nails was not great and pretty messy (last pic). So upsetting after paying so much for this.

Im not usually want to leave a negative review, but this experience was so frustrating and upsetting to the point where I even had to take some time to process it before I even write this review. I’ve been a loyal customer of N.Bar for a long time and have always had great experiences at other branches, especially the Mirdif location. However, my visit to the Dubai Festival City branch was so upsetting that I feel compelled to share my experience to help others and encourage improvements.First, and most frustratingly, the staff kept switching out nail technicians, which is something I’ve never seen happen before at any nail salon, let alone at N.Bar. This constant rotation caused so much miscommunication that it significantly affected my experience and the quality of my nails. At times, I was left sitting there for 20 minutes at a time, completely unattended, while I watched other clients come in, get their services, and leave before I was even halfway done.When I arrived, my nails were naturally long and slightly grown out, which is why I came in to get them redone. However, the receptionist made a very hurtful and unnecessary comment, saying they looked like “witch’s nails.” This was incredibly unprofessional and left me feeling embarrassed and upset, as I take pride in maintaining my natural nails.Because of the lack of communication between the technicians, one of them accidentally cut off my entire nail on my pinky finger. Considering how long my nails were before, this was devastating. When I reacted with shock, the technician acted annoyed and upset that she had to fix it by applying an extension, even though this mistake wasn’t my fault at all—it was entirely due to the disorganized process. To make matters worse, when I explained the situation to the receptionist, she didn’t apologize or address the issue. Instead, she tried to charge me extra for the extension, even though the problem was entirely caused by their lack of communication and professionalism.The pricing issue was another major frustration. According to the app, if you’re getting a gel nail application, removal of your existing gel polish is supposed to be free as long as it was originally done at N.Bar. I had already confirmed this beforehand. However, when I brought this up at the salon, they still tried to charge me extra for the removal. When I pointed out that this wasn’t in line with the app’s stated policy, the staff argued with me instead of resolving the issue professionally.The entire experience was so overwhelming and upsetting that I ended up crying in the salon. Instead of being understanding or offering solutions, the staff and receptionist remained dismissive and unprofessional. Adding to the frustration, the receptionist orchestrated the constant switching of technicians, which only made things worse. On top of all this, I overheard some staff members talking about me in their own language, which felt highly unprofessional and disrespectful.After spending four hours there for what should have been a simple gel application, I ended up with nails that weren’t even what I wanted and left feeling deeply upset and disrespected.I’ve always trusted N.Bar for their professionalism and high standards, but this experience was far below expectations. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes significant changes to improve their service, communication, and professionalism. No customer should ever have to go through what I did.

After deciding to give this place another chance, disappointed once again. Absolutely no respect for timings of appointments or schedule of customers. Why bother book appointments if the timings won’t be respected.

I did manicure with polish there and they charge 30 dhs for polish only and paid total of 197 dhs but yet their application of top coat on top of the polish is not even and I can see it very clearly!If you want to charge this much you might as well make sure you are doing it very nicely.

I get my eyebrows done by Ms. Tanya and my nails by their team, and they are all so professional. They keep getting better and better with each visit. Gee and Sara was very good and friendly. I opted for a pedicure and Russian builder gel extensions and was not disappointed. Both girls was very thorough and made sure that I was okay with the shape and colour. Definitely worth the time and money spent.

Had a very bad experience with Nbar festival city! I am a loyal customer to them, literally always recommending clients to them, Marilyn city walk was recommended by the call center, so I went and got a pedicure with her, since my nail specialist “Emily DfC) was on vacation. So I went to Marilyn in city walk, she left me literally with no nails, what was left of my nails was crooked! And the polish application was horrible, they made me pay, and leave with crooked tiny nails, and a terrible color, later they called me to tell me my next pedicure is complimentary, to compensate, but regardless they left me with an ugly nail job! I mean how often Do we get a pedicure? Specially after being left with no nails,,,, sooo since I was a loyal client of DFC I went there a few days later, and I was giving the credit to the manager DENIS for DFC and how unsatisfied I was with City walk branch, I showed her my nails, and she seemed upset and offered me to file them complimentary and repolish them since they looked so bad, unfortunately I had to run to the hospital since my daughters fever was 41, so she told me not to worry to come back during the week, so I did! Guess what? When I did, she wasn’t around, EDZ the cashier was on the front desk , which btw doesn’t understand a word! I was explaining to edz my situation she said they cannot help me so I asked her to call the manager, the manager DENIS completely denied ever accepting to fix my nails, after she agreed and said I wasn’t due for a pedicure, as well as my specialist EMILY WAS STILL ON VACATION. So I spoke to her on the phone and she told me she can only offer a free file, I begged her to paint them because it was my birthday and I reallly only trusted DFC to do my nails and didn’t want to go elsewhere, she refused. Then she spoke on the phone with EDZ and EDZ told me okay don’t worry go inside start with your hands then we do your feet, after I went inside and started working on my hands, no one yet started with my feet, after we were done with my hands EDZ tells me I never told you to do your feet! And she wouldn’t help me, all in all! If you’re looking for a loyal nail salon, who strives to make their customers happy, nail bar isn’t the place! I begged Denis not to upset me because I really want to be loyal to Nbar and she couldn’t care less!Credits do go for tania, for always taking care of her clients in DFC!The rest doesn’t care

Nbar is my go to nails salon and the only reason that keeps me coming back is the technicians (Zel and Emily) they are friendly and great at their job, and i dont think i would ever consider nbar if it was not for them.Few points i have been highlighting to the management during the past 3 years and it was ignored and i heard different client during my visits mentioning: 1)essie color options are limited and every month it is reducing, i am not a gelish girl and this is their excuse we only have colors for gelish which is a shame for a well branded and high priced salon. 2) the technicians are back to back with not even 5-10mins gap, if a clients is late it will effect all upcoming customers which i think we all agree that is not considerate for both the clients and the technicians. 3) if a technician is running late with the client, call the next client and inform instead of waiting. 4) all other nbar branches are much bigger and nicer than dubai festival mall branch, it is small and not a place to relax which is what you would expect when visiting a salon.5) please stop increasing the prices every couple of months, the services are already considered highly priced and other salons offer more for lower prices.Hope this feedback reflects soon in the salon.

NBar never disappoints but it was my first time visiting this specific location and the quality I expected was consistent.Both of my techs were lovely and very attentive. I am SUPER picky but Zee gave me a perfect pedicure and Cecil gave me a perfect gel manicure. The selection of gel colors was also fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Staff is equipped, friendly, professional and they are like family. From the reception all the way to the hygiene ladies,,,Their services go beyond any star so to me 5 star is so little because it’s a complete experience. They listen to you, respect your boundaries when needed and socialize only if permissible within the time frame that you are there.My favorites are Tania for waxing and threading, Emily and Sheryl for manicures and Pedicures these are my go to staff however if any of them aren’t available any lady available for the service requested would deliver at the same standard! My nail’s where getting in a bad condition. In this Salon with the help of the professionals Issa my hand nails are strong and healthy , and for foot ingrown pedicure Emily has managed to treat the problem and now I walk on clouds. I have been loyal to n bar dfc for the past 3 years and I used to recommend this place to many people and I have recently had a horrible experience I was doing gel x flash extensions and I told them I had 2 options for nail ideas and they told me that both would be available and one of the designs I had in mind had a heart on each finger which is simple nail art and they told me I can do that if I want so I later on decided that’s the one I wanted to do and after they finished doing everything they told me the simple heart design isn’t available and that nobody knows how to do it and they were extremely rude about it refused to give me any solutions other than them wanting me to come the next day which is inconvenient to me and the receptionist raised her voice at me and spoke to me in a very rude manner and then when I started fighting back they told me that i was behaving unacceptably and finally in the end I had to come up with the solution to go to mcc branch to fix it and before going to mcc they wanted to charge me 20dhs per nail for the simple nail art when the staff in mcc told me it should be only 10 per nail for simple nail art and when I called to make a complain the manager was telling me that I was being rude and I should’ve understood that it’s not available even though I was told it was and I should’ve not done it honestly I will not return to the dfc branch and I don’t recommend you do unless you want to be treated rudely and like you don’t matter if I were to return to nbar it would be in the mcc branchAlso the only employee who works at nbar dfc whom id 100% recommend and would probably still go to is Tania although she doesn’t do nails she is the only employee there who genuinely cares about her customers and their satisfaction and treats them with respect so if u were to go nbar dfc go see Tania!

I did today with marjoy and susie not sure of name, very bad experience. In terms of service and experience. Pedicure she left it without cuticle oil and shining. The other one was forcing me to buy the oil which i dont want and it came to a point where two ladies doing their nails are looking. They kept of making fun. I wont come back for sure.

Issa is a toxic menicurist and should be fired from Nbar DFC mall branch. She already started in a poor mood, did 50% bad job at cutting my cuticles, when I told her there is still dead skin, she said no its actual skin, when I said no I usually get many menicures and I know its dead skin, she took the steel square stick and with anger forcefully jabbed hard 2-3 times in the corner of my fingernail cuticle and made me bleed to prove her distaste and bad temper. Super rude and didnt want to work, she cannot be allowed to go and be attacking and making other customers bleed. Of course their management apologized but still charged me for pedicure. They shouldve taken that from Issas paycheck for attacking me. Highly disappointed.

This salon is one of my top choices for manicures and pedicures. However, its important to note that the space is quite compact. Ideally, its sized for two people in each space (they have around 3), yet they manage to accommodate three, each possibly receiving dual services like a mani/pedi simultaneously. Despite the cramped space, the quality of service remains high.

I have an appointment today 6pm and I came 10 minutes earlier for my appointment but till 6:10pm and still waiting. There is no point of stating app to make appointments if cannot mange to handle it! Festival city branch

Overall great service! Tania is wonderful with eyebrow threading and she has a lovely spirit. Tried their mani-pedi as well and it was good just note that the area for this service is quite small so you may feel the lack of personal space when it’s busy.

Unfortunately Melanie Castro made my day horrible. She is a supervisor but I don’t know how she became one. You better not visit dfc branch if you don’t want to experience bad customer service. Melanie should learn how to respect your customers equally regardless of their nationality. The reason of coming to the salon is to relax and not to encounter discomfort. I’ve been there about 3 times . The first time I remove a hard shellac from someone else they charged me 60 aed ok no problem I paid . Then I came to do my pedicure they charged 160 aed for removing the shellac . And I asked why all the time I come here they charge me different for removing ? Removal machines are the same , nails are the same . You guys must be joking . She told me each therapist analyse if the shellac is thick or not and they tell them the price ? Like seriously ? Is this a money maker ? To remove in the machine you spend less thean 5 minutes !!! Nothing else and then I asked the manicure to do French she didn’t know how to do it . And they were rubbish . Is good when you have to do something quick but after it comes out so quickly . But the Indian lady that does the eyebrows and eyelashes is the best . But the rest is all a scam and just care about money and doing it fast

Finally I have found a good and a professional salon for a pedicure.I do recommend this place especially if you suffer from ingrown nails or need some extra care.Many thanks to miss Emily!In addition I have to raise down to one star due to not nice customer service- ladies who work on reception, they cannot decide between themselves how much to charge and have some weird invented policy. I had tolerance couple of times but unfortunately I won’t visit this branch anymore.Once again many thanks to the girls who do manicure and pedicure but when ladies on reception get some education of the manners maybe then this salon would be really great.

I’m a very satisfied client! Issa, who always does my manicure is really gentle and great at her job. I love how clean and neat my nails look after she is done with my manicure. She is also kind and very friendly. On the other note, I also like Emily who did my pedicure. My toe nails, even though they are small are full of dry skin hence I’m very particular on who is doing them. I’m glad I’ve met Emily! She really is an expert! Removed all my dry skin on my toe nails with less pain and no wounds after! She also is very good in applying polish after doing my pedicure. I really like them and would well recommend, Issa & Emily. Lastly, of course I will not forget Tanya who did my Brazilian wax & eye-brow threading. She is also an expert indeed! I love how gentle her hands are and how clean she really does her job. She is also very sweet and friendly. I love her positive and kind aura really. Her professionalism and expertise in her job is just a bonus. Really would recommend her! Kudos, Nbar DFC branch! Always happy and satisfied every visit I have with you. Don’t understand why does anyone pay premium for a service here. For pedicure, they put you in a round room with a diameter hardly more than 2m. The room is meant to fit 3 customers + minimum 3 staff members. This is the opposite of a nice relaxing session, but great for finally feeling what caged stock feels like. :)

I hated my service today its my first time being this annoyed at nbar first they messed with my appointment and had to wait over 20 minutes for services then the lady wasnt even happy or smiling she was so upset not sure why and then made me bleed and it hurts alot expected better nbar !!!!!

If you are looking for eyebrow threading, Tanya complete blew me away with her skills. I have been searching for a good technician for over 3 years and I am so glad I found her.

I did a gel meni with Cecil. She was amazing, very friendly, very professional and did my nails perfectly. I was very very happy with the result and did not expect my nails to be this good.I would 100% recommend the DFC mall branch. Make sure you call and make a booking in advance.

This place is so nice and the stuffs are so professional ! They really cleaned my nails with love i really feel fresh and neat , but i have one comment about the reception , the lady wearing in black was so rude ! She didnt pay attention to our booking which was before 4 days and she ignored us ! And we are pregnant we lept waiting me and my sister , also while i did treatment she saod why you are doing treatment there is no time for other clients !!!!!! Its like we will not pay for it , was so rudeeeee ... and she kept coning on our heading watching us its so weird .. but i really like the saon and i hope they change the ladies in reception , no respect at all.

I am a regular customer with NBAR since 2 years now but always when it comes to DFC branch there is always a problem!! they always trying their best to charge more for any service! !! I did nail repair for other branch few days ago and did the same for diffrent nail today at their branch and they charged me 30 % more!!! I did exactly the same treatment and same color ! Not only for nail repair , any service when it comes to this branch( this issue was happened min. 3 times before ) . Also they Dont communicate all their answers its just like this because its like that ) and this really not acceptable.I really like NBAR but I am afraid this experience today will ruin 2 years of being loyal to them !

Busy nail spa, this is not for somoeone who wants to have a me time as the place is crowded, not a relaxing place to have it. Otherwise, the quality of their mani pedi service is 3***. As it really depends on your nail artist. Try financial gate branch, its more spacious and you can have a walk downstairs --art gallery while you dry your nails.

Let’s just say their attitude is - as if they’re doing you a favor. Waited 15 min just for someone to approach me after they said they can get my nails done right away. They won’t tell you how long you must actually wait neither do they offer you a coffee etc....waited 15 min then Then went to Sisters
