As a loyal customer of Pause Salon, I’ve always appreciated the friendly and helpful service. Yesterday, I contacted the salon to book a manicure and pedicure, and as usual, the staff was very accommodating. I called again later to confirm the availability of specific colors—Fiji, Pallet Slipper, and Allure—and was assured they were in stock. However, when I arrived for my appointment, none of these colors were available, which left me disappointed. Although I chose another color, it didn’t fully meet my expectations. Please ensure that these kinds of miscommunications don’t happen in the future, as loyal customers deserve reliable service. Thank you.

I recently visited pause salon , and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience.First off, the location is quite confusing to find. Once I finally made it inside, I was greeted by a receptionist who seemed more interested in rushing me than in providing any semblance of hospitality. Instead of a warm welcome or even an offer for a drink, she immediately asked what color I wanted, leaving me feeling overlooked and tired from my journey.I initially planned to get nail extensions, but after witnessing the unsatisfactory level of service, I changed my mind. I noticed the receptionist and the nail technician arguing, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I opted to move to a manicure instead, and when I asked for a round shape, the technician delivered a look that was nowhere near what I wanted.When it came time to pay, the receptionist didnt even bother to ask how my experience was or if I had any feedback. This lack of engagement throughout my visit was shocking.I really wish the owner would invest in better training for their staff. If my experience is any indication, this salon is not a place I would recommend to friends or family. I certainly won’t be returning.

I had high expectations for Pause Salon (Dubai branch) after seeing their stunning henna designs on Instagram, but unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.I did a henna design for National Day, and just three days later, it has already started fading. It never even darkened properly, despite the designer assuring me that it would. The quality didn’t match what I expected, especially for the high price they charge.It’s disappointing when the real-life experience doesn’t align with the impression created online. Sadly, I don’t feel the service was worth the cost.

Worst service I’ve ever had in dubai, both of mum hands ended up in blood, the staff was super rude and inpatient, in the end I have to ask her if she is that unwilling to do the job please ask another girl to do it!!! Unbelievable! It used to be a really nice salon I come and bring few friends of mine, can’t believe it become in this super poor service level .

I am shocked from how bad their attitudes were the staff was not welcoming. the receptionist did not smile and on call she was very rude. as for the nail lady she also did not smile BAD attitude. when i told her to fix on my nail she looked very annoyed and was rough when showing me the nail. the service was good but because of their behaviour and unwelcoming vibe i will not be coming back. when i do my nails i want to feel relaxed not tense throughout my session

I’ve visited this salon twice, hoping to give them another chance, but both experiences were incredibly disappointing. I tried different technicians, but none of them were professional. They don’t shape/file the nails properly, fail to clean the feet thoroughly during pedicures, and even cutting the edges of the nails is done poorly—it actually makes things worse. There’s no precision or focus on details in their work.The manicure on my hands was equally frustrating. Just a few minutes after leaving—not even hours later—the polish started to bubble on the sides, and my nail edges were left feeling so dry! I honestly don’t know why this is called a manicure or pedicure when the results are this bad—it felt like I had done nothing at all.To make matters worse, their attitude is unprofessional. They don’t welcome customer feedback and give annoyed, frustrated looks when you try to point things out. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service or even basic customer care.

First time coming here, the ladies were very welcoming and nice. I had manicure and pedicure cleaning without polish, with relish removal. They are very good and gentle. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend the place. Also love the vibe of the space! Thanks ladies

I’ve been doing my nails for 3 years. I visited those guys where customer service was very unprofessional and not nice, even one of the ladies called me dramatic for getting hurt because she was going rough on my fingernails. I did gell pedicure and manicure, after 4 days the gell started falling off and I almost paid 389 aed. I feel like my nails have never been thinner for how much they filed into them. Not recommended

The worst staff , unprofessional i did the worse manicure ever and i did complain to reception lady she literally did nothing but staring at me , not even an apology, i paid 140 dh !!! Before I went to the salon, I called them and they told me that there was time to do my nails and hair. When I arrived, she told me that there was no time even though I arrived at the same time. She told me that she would start at a certain price, and after we agreed, They took more and did not do my nails and hair full service. But they took the full amount from me. The receptionist behaved very poorly and they did not make my hair properly. Another one who did my hand nails was very bad, but the one who did my toenails is called Maria. She was very nice.

Every time i go to this salon, they nick my cuticles and cause my fingers to bleed, ignore it and put glue/ gel on it. very unprofessional staff and they do not take feedback well.

It was a great place before unfortunately, the service changes. Do not get your henna done here I came in on Sunday evening with a friend to get henna done and it’s only been three days and the henna is already fading and getting blotchy! Never again

Worst experience ever! Even though this the second time coming to d3 branch but the service keeps getting worst! Even when calling and booking an appointment it’s such a hassle they don’t reply or pick up. When I arrived the lady that was supposed to do my pedicure was ON HER PHONE while i was waiting for her to start and she did not wear gloves :) even my nails i was excited to come back because it was really good the first time but unfortunately she didn’t pay attention to what told her I want. I am really disappointed.

I always go for a trim, it’s only 50 dhs, their head, shoulders massage it’s only 100 dhs for 30 mins. Nail art is always a good option there.

I did a hairstyle with Shanya. She was so good my hair stayed nice all night. She was kind and sweet and nice to talk to.

I visited Pause Salon today for a manicure, and my experience was terrible. The staff member who did my nails was not clean, she had veeeeryyy long creepy nails tbh and I really care about hygiene when I go to any salon by hygiene i mean tidiness and cleanness from inside and outside . As soon as I entered, she looked at me with an unfriendly expression. The table where I wanted to place my bag was dirty as well as the chair i was sitting on it had hair pieces , and when I mentioned it, she dismissed my concern.During the manicure, she seemed annoyed that my nail moved slightly, which resulted in dots and scratches on my nail polish. Instead of fixing it immediately, she went to work on another customer’s nails and kept asking in a strange way, “Do I come and fix it or…?” I was shocked that she was still debating whether to fix her mistake.Additionally, she wore earphones and sang the entire time. I visit salons to relax and feel positive, but I have never experienced such unprofessionalism before.

All the staff was so nice and kind expect the African lady josefine she was tuff and and she was disrespectful and had an attitude and when I told her to do her work in a better way and that i did not like her attitude she said I Dont Care this is my first and last time to visit this salon because of this attitude

This used to be my fav salon. Everyone who looks at me asks me who cut your hair? Do they hate u? Very disappointed and will be finding a better salon.

D3 branch was so disappointing. I have waited for 5 hours for my turn.. and got The worse service ever... the staff are really so bad and unprofessional. I sat there for 30 mins, they were just doing everything fast and pulling my skin hard.. around my nails( HAND AND TOES BOTH) were bleeding a lot non stop for two hours i swear. I talked to them and the lady was like don’t worry we sanitize our equipment. NEVER EVER THINK OF GOING THERE. THEY ARE THE WORSE. I WOULD RATE THEM UNDER ZERO IF I CAN. I got the worst manicure ever. It was as if the lady doing my nails was forced into it. I had a gel removal and a manicure she removed my gel with a buffer instead of foil which lead to my nails being weak and damaged and painful and I am unable to function properly with them this way. Im so disappointed I kinda hope they close down after this.

Worst experience, I came here first time and took appointment for nail art and upon arriving she said there is no time , and even this time I have booked blow dry and she said the same thing , need improvement of staff.

I have recently been going to Pause in d3 regularly for nails and massage. I cannot recommend Janice in d3 branch enough, she is the best. I would like to suggest to management to accept tips on card as the staff are missing out a lot, I could have tipped way more than I would like because I only carry card. Overall, I recommend great service.

We visit d3 Branch today me and my sister, I asked for gel nail polish, when the staff applied the first coat it was very very thick coat!! I don’t like it so I asked the staff politely that I don’t like like this if she can fix it . But she was upset with me and she speak loudly that I should wait it’s just a first coat !! it was very clear to me it would be very thick from first coat spatially that she have to apply more Coats .. however I asked to replace her. when the other staff came and asked her where she stopped so she can continue, she refused to cooperate ….! I am a client if I said I don’t like it from beginning she should fix it , it better than I wait her to finish than I said I don’t like it which we will both in hard situations. It was my birthday gift to visit this saloon and she gave me hard time I’m just disappointed..

I just had a great experience at the nails salon! Im so glad I went. Janes did an amazing job with my nails and she was so kind and sweet. It was my first time there, but Im definitely going to come back. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great manicure and friendly service.

Terrible service, I asked for the simplest service any salon can provide, Blow dry, it was done POORLY, i asked for a straight blow dry with a volume in my hair…but all the layers in my hair disappeared and my hair looks so flat and stuck to my skull… they tried to fix it.. it worked for 10 mins… and after i left my hair went SUPER STRAIGHT with no Volume… super disappointed… I paid 150 for nothing… actually my hair before i went to the salon looked more alive and better!First and last time to go there… BIG NO

I had a very bad experience lately at the salon two of my diamond rings was stolen from my bag after the nail lady told me that I need to remove them in order to put hand cream.. Ladies be careful! I brought the police to the salon and luckly they managed to get it from them. Will never go back to it!

WORST SALON EVER!! I’ve been waiting for 2 hours and I’ve been told that there are 2 girls ahead of me for hairstyle. Those two girls started and when it was my turn they let another girl sit and do her hair when I was waiting. When I complained they told me that she was here before and we had 2 people in one invoice. The receptionist Sara was arguing that this girl came before me when she was not even here when I came. The other receptionist Eileen who was there and told me that there are 2 in front of me, was so rude and told me that she explained it wrongly. That is not my problem! The hairstylist told them that I came here before, but they didn’t even listen.

One of the best salon, I really like how they care about every single detail . I’m so happy with fely and jenifer they are the best for my nails also Abby! As well as, Christin she’s the best for hairstyles and treatments . Also, sonita for the eyebrows she’s the only one who knows how to do my eyebrows.Overall, all the stuff are more like a family and I do respect and happy with each one of them.

I went to the saloon to unwind and relax, instead I left feeling annoyed and disappointed and unsatisfied. Customer service was very poor as they didn’t offer a drink or give me options of hair treatments I wanted, and when I asked about the mask they didn’t know anything about it. The woman who did my hair was aggressive and pushed my head into the sink instead of scrubbing my hair while washing it. My ears were left drenched after washing as well. When she was blow drying my hair she kept hitting my head with the brush even after I told her to be gentle. Don’t recommend at all, first and last time. When I went to the cashier to share my feedback she was rude and defensive and didn’t take the feedback well.

I loved the service a lot, i did my brows with sam and they look super duper clean and neat they look sooo adorable just like the way i wanted them to be, i also did my manicure and pedicure, thanks to grace and josephine they did a really great job, and it will never be my last time !!

I checked their instagram followers and when I saw the how high, I thought they’re good. But they’re actually really bad. I only did hair trimming, and I had to tell her how to cut, based on my hair cut (since it’s trimming). She had runny nose- cleaning it with her hand then touching my hair. When trimming my hair, she barely put the plastic on me so I had the cut hair parts on me! Honestly, one of the worst.

I did mani with extensions and padi and ombre for my nails. Technician was very friendly and professional. Tina for my hands and grace for my feet. I also did a hair wash with dry. They use good shampoo which makes my hair shine. Shanya did it for me. She is good

Nice salon, love the D3 location, i got basic hair cut and nails done. My daughter loves this salon, I found it good but not amazing. Nails for instance, they didnt have halal polish and no massage included. Prices decent

This is my first time writing a review and I’m only doing it coz the experience was beyond bad, like -1/10 BAD! I’ve never been to a salon where my experience was as dismal as this.My nail technician “Josephine” was so rude and unprofessional. Her attitude stinks and whenever she does a mistake, she’s quick to pass blame on the customer. She would mumble under her breath which made me really uncomfortable.Would not recommend this salon 👎🏻

I work in D3 so I have been here many times. But every time it’s disappointing. I went to remove my gel nails - the technician shaved of my nails and now they’re thing and brittle (i had done gel nails after a long time). My nails snapped in a few days of how weak they are.She was very rough with my nails and and it was actually painful the way she was removing my gel nails. Disappointing and will never come here.The should have Fazaa discount - but they only accept it based on their mood or keep changing the rules though it doesn’t say it officially

Saw that Instagram had a lot of followers and I assumed it would be good, I was wrong. My acrylics came out very uneven and the staff doing my nails was very impatient and seemed fed up with her job. Very rude staff, kept rolling her eyes at me. I paid a lot and the nails are uneven and the service was not good.

Youd expect a manicure and pedicure would be a simple enough job for a salon with 2 other branches, but that would be expecting too much of the people at Pause. Starting off, the nail technician removed my old polish by scraping it off using a cuticle pusher. She also refused to change my nail shape by using the excuse that my nails looked fine, while they were obviously grown and misshapen. Later she applied the nail polish without starting off with a base coat, and did a sloppy job with the application of the topcoat. During this all, I unintentionally ruined the polish for one of my fingers, and instead of removing the polish and starting again, the technician just applied more nail polish on top. The salon is of bad quality, management, and staff. I would highly encourage anyone with good sense to not visit.

I always do my nails here, and the nail technician Abby is very good! Shes very friendly, puts the polish well and does a fabulous job!

Gelish was severely under cured as the UV light was not working. And my nail colour went from pastel to black patches in just 3 days. My skin was cut in a few places as well using just a buffer. Josephine did my nails, and was unprofessional and rude. Wouldnt turn the light back on even after asking repeatedly. Very poor quality and unqualified staff.

The place is dirty, chairs had hair and pieces of nails on them. The staff is not friendly and not helpful at all. They don’t ask if you want to drink anything (which is basic ambiance) and gave me a hard time for choosing a color! their work is rushed and not of quality. One of the staff was using a hair dryer to clean the dust behind the curtains, and when I asked her to stop, because I’m allergic to dust and she was blowing the dust in my face, she gave me a very unfriendly look! I personally won’t come here again.

One of my favorite places in Dubai to do my nails, and the only one I come to when I want to do Ombré, Ms. Tina is very skilled technician and she never fails to do her magic on my nails 💕.

Disappointed by the quality of their manicure! Charged me 600 dhs for acrylic refill and gel color and the nail color chipped in two days and the acrylic broke in 5 days!!

I visited the salon after hearing about a lot of the hype surrounding it, but it was a very disappointing experience to say the least. Staff are unprofessional, constantly argue, and find their jobs as an inconvenience, the nail work there is of poor quality, and the prices are way too high for such low quality work. The pictures displayed on instagram are not even close to the capabilities of the staff regarding nail artistry. If there was a rating lower than 1 I wouldve applied it.

I had one of the worst experiences ever in pause salon D3 branch.First of all the staff are extremely unprofessional specially the receptionist who doesn’t care about the salons reputation even after telling her that I’ll be complaining to the owner and I’ll be writing a bad review. The staff keeps on arguing in front of other customers and they constantly try to prove the customer wrong, it was so humiliating to be experiencing this. Plus they are not honest as they keep on changing their words.I really hope the owner reads everyone’s review and start taking actions if she really cares about her business.

It took 4 hours to remove gel extensions and add new one, I can understand the fact that it may take time for nails extensions. But for the prices comparing to 5 stars spa and the normal beauty centers they exceeded the amount, for gel extensions every step they will do it is chargeable and every place I went before they put one price including cleaning and adding gel and also adding color. The staff were laughing loudly and they didn’t switch off music when it was Athan time. I thought the reviews in here exaggerating but everything they said I faced it.

Only for nails it’s nice but for hair no , today i went there one staff which she’s on cashier I’m telling her that I’m coming always and I’m doing my hair with wash 120 she’s telling me show me ur massage purchase I showed her put the salon name it’s not there even if I showed her I did more than one service I told her check your system she’s lying . I am not sure why they’re getting so famous on Instagram… it was so noisy and super unprofessional the lady doing my nails took my phone which was places next to me to the check the time. The extensions came off in 4 days I do not recommend at all!

Great nails service for manicure or nail art work. The place is cozy the service is good. The prices are ok but if there were more promotions that would be nice. They do not accept Esaad or Fazaa. Hair stylists are also good. They offer Henna as well but you have to pre book.

Going there was so disappointing I’ve been to pause Sharjah branch and they’re staff are so nice everything there is cleaned and they do exactly as you tell them to do I got my nails done with josephine she was so rude to me and during my nail appointment with her she would keep on giving me dirty looks literally 5aiirrrr afterwards I did my pedicure and it’s not as clean as when I do it in other places w shay thani awal ma I reached my car che one of my nails e5trbw and I also did my hair there THERE WAS HAIR LITERALLY STUCK ON THE SEAT AND IN THE CORNERS OF THE SEAT I told her if she could bring someone to clean it she was like yeah but then she took the hair out by herself and no body came anyways I sat there and the lady that was going to do my hair came she scrubbed my roots and after washing my hair and everything there was still pieces of the scrub in my hair?!!!!!!!!! Very nice salon in design district. Super easy for lunch break manicures. The team is super professionnal, they are on time and they are super efficient. It is the first salon that I have seen that dont take forever for a gelish mani pedi. I would recommend 100%.

I tried this saloon back in 2019 and hated it because of the rude and unwelcoming staff. I decided to give the place another chance few days ago, and yet again they disappointed me. The service was really bad, the hairstylist burnt my scalp with the hairdryer and didn’t care, the receptionist was not welcoming, the staff were not friendly… not going back again.

I did french gel 2 days ago and the lady was rushing me so much and she didn’t even let me take a look at my nail before paying she drew the french tip very badly and applied the gel very wrong and it is already peeling off i will never come back to this salon with such bad service

Unfortunately I got fungus infection after pedicure.. also they kept the nails drying machine in my lap because they don’t have a table or space to keep it for my nails to dry .. so disappointing

Very very bad service, endless waiting time and she did my nails and didn’t even wash it after scrubbing it i left home with my nails not cleaned for eid !!!!!! , she also forgot to put top coat on it and literally left acting busy and she wasn’t doing anything i called some other technician which gave me the top coat , literally their instagram is a scam it looks good only in pics i don’t suggest anyone to get any service from them , and most of the staff was very very rude including henna technician

Filipinas work quietly, with a smile, and are kind, and if you notice them, they dont say anything and respond nicely. Except for the Nigerian woman, her pussy is two inches from her genitals, and the day I tell her, Dont cut this place, it hurts me in the nail. Whats wrong with her? In dealing with us, I left them with broken nails and blood.. I mean, the day I tell you, don’t cut, don’t cut, why is the stubbornness? I didn’t understand..

The best branch in Dubai for nails, pedicure, manicure, and eyebrows. My eyebrows were sore, my eyebrows were ruined, and I just asked for bleaching and dyeing. My eyebrows were dyed about four times, and the eyebrows were not dyed at all. She applied dye to me, which I thought about an hour or more, and they turned my eyebrows black as if they were a tattoo. I had two attempts at a pedicure and manicure. They cut off my nails once and only once complained about the condition. Her back hurt and the work was bad and I told her that cleaning was bad and she said it would kill you that my back hurts!!! And when we write comments on their Instagram account, there is no interest {and they delete the comment!!! } You see, the comment was only written after I spoke to them and it was of no use, and all comments are not necessarily praise, there is a need for credibility, as the dealings, the work, and the customer receive the service in a better way.

A nice pedicure and manicure, and the work of the employee, Jan, who is Vietnamese, and Sheila, who is Filipino, did a wonderful jobNote that the pedicure sink was not clean. I asked them to clean it and do the rest 👍🏻

She was stubborn that it wasnt suitable, and I was walking at 11 in the morning and she said, Come on, quickly, choose drunk. 2 of us. It was hot and they turned on and overrated, its not worth it.

This place is very clean, and the prices are very reasonable. Nail cleaning, cutting, and filing with color 63. The appearance is nice, but they are forbidden to open them until a little while after you finish doing your nails or before they also serve you drinks.
