The Loft Fifth Avenue Beauty Lounge- Shorooq, Mirdif

Analiza has been doing my nails for over 2 years and they never disappoint, whether it’s just a regular mani-pedi or gel extention, they last a very long time. Very clean and very good service.

The worst thing you ever did was this automated booking telephone line. Takes ages to pick up and book an appointment. It was much easier when you could call the salon directly. I called 4 times today and I finally got through to the call centre. Very often they have to call the branch and then call you back! Just have separate numbers for each branch! Why complicate things.

I had the best experience at this branch. All the nail tech and specialists are highly skilled and always recommends good treatments. They fixed my toe’s patches issue and recommended good foot spray for maintenance. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience at the salon. The Roots hair color (ammonia-free) turned out perfect, and the nails services were excellent. However, the prices are on the higher side compared to other salons. Overall, great quality but a bit expensive.

My fiancée regular at this place, she love their services, positive vibes, welcoming receptionist, all of their staff in all sections- hair, makeup, nails, massage, beauty, skin are very professionally trained, place is very hygienic and clean, Affordable prices, good promotional offers. Highly recommended to all. This place treats like our home!

Most wonderful experience ever! Nour colored my hair to perfection and styled it beautifully. Jennifer and Thelma with nails were so precise and perfect.

Had a message, head, neck, and shoulders for 1 hr with Jen. She was amazing and when I told her I had an arm issue she focused on that area lots. She also has the ability to apply lots of pressure which is good for muscley people like myself. 😁

Absolute rubbish! This salon is a joke. After having paid nearly 500 dirhams for acrylic nails and a pedicure, I had to return the following day because both my nails and feet had chipped. The nails were gel, so how that’s even possible is beyond me. To fix the chip, the nail technician just slapped a blob of gel polish over the chipped bit, which made it look worse. Then, my thumb nail broke a few days later. I went back again to tell them I didn’t think the nails had integrity and were too flimsy. That perhaps I should have them filed down so at least they don’t break so easily. To my surprise the nail tech had the nerve to say I was confused about nail extensions and that’s how they’re made. I’m sorry but I don’t think anyone would pay 400 dirhams for professional nails that break after a week. They then told me that I’d have to pay 100 dirhams ro file then down. They really are all about money. The day after I had my thumb fixed both my middle finger and index finger broke. It has ruined my holiday.This salon is full of people who have not honed their craft, yet charge so much you’d think you were going to get an amazing job. Unless you enjoy wasting money and time on correcting mediocre work, stay far away from here.

This was my first time visiting the saloon I absolutely loved their customer service and performance. I got a Mani Pedi done with Jen and Joan and they were very friendly and skilled, highly recommended. I also got a back massage with Jen and it was absolutely relaxing. I will definitely come back again

I absolutely love this branch in shorooq Mirdif. My favourite part about the entire salon is the staff. I sincerely appreciate the ladies’ lovely energy and their dedication to always giving the customer’s the best treatments possible. I’ve built such a loving relationship with them that I always look forward to my appointments. They also have a really nice selection of breathable nail polish which is not usually found in other salons. I’d absolutely recommend this branch! The atmosphere is nice and cosy too.

They need to focus on the simple things more because as customers we notice these things. Not very clean would give it a 6/10. Nail polish options very limited. Ladies for hair and nails don’t ever seem to understand what kind of nail shape i want which is very simple, and hair lady doesn’t really understand what i want as well, which is just curly btw.eyebrows lady been with her since 2019 to be honest she’s good with cleaning the brows but shaping them she has a little difficulty because she doesn’t want to do something and then you be mad at her so she won’t even try..

Definitely avoid Loft if you need your hair extensions fixed or if you expect any sort of efficient customer service. The first time I went there, my tape-in extensions seemed fine initially but started falling out after the first wash. When I returned for a repair, they looked choppy and totally unnatural. I even sent them a picture to illustrate the problem, and their response was ridiculous—they claimed the longer parts of my hair (clearly the extensions) were my natural hair and the shorter parts were the extensions, which was completely backward. Their explanations were full of excuses, and they showed no real understanding of the issue. After lots of frustration and wasted time trying to reach someone with authority, higher management finally responded with an offer of a free haircut and blow dry, which was a completely inadequate solution that didn’t address my concerns at all. I’m thoroughly disappointed and will never return to Loft for any service. It was a complete mess from start to finish.

Been a customer for many years now and the services provided by the ladies in Shorooq branch are impeccable. My go-to technicians are always Mirasol and Analisa who already know the appropriate polishes to be used for my certain needs and events. Umaya who only touches my and my daughters hair and Ashmita who knows how to handle my eyebrows were both excellent at their expertise! I would highly recommend these ladies. They are the best!

I love this place...cuccooned inside the Shorooq avenue.I use LOURDES for pedicures, manicures and massages. She is amazing. The place is clean and compact. The ladies go out of their way to make you feel at home. A HIDDEN TREASURE OF MIRDIF ❤️ 💙 💜

I had very bad experience with them for nails extensions the therapist was have very bad attitude and she didn’t clean my nails before doing the extension and it’s broken after 2 days

I appreciated the Mani Padi service, but there are some specific concerns. The eyebrow threading fell short, earning a 2/5 rating. Despite requesting cleaning, it was not done adequately. Moreover, the eyelash lifting, for which I paid 303 AED, resulted in only a 35% curl, and the application was messy. It seems there may be a lack of proper training for both workers. It would be beneficial to share this detailed feedback with the service provider for improvement.

I didn’t like salon at all. Came by appointment made it online for professional blow dry, for special occasion, my hair are fine and thin, once my hair was washed, hair dresser immediately started to dry my hair, didn’t apply any heat protection, didn’t apply any root lifting… nothing… I asked to apply as even for home drying I always apply all the necessary professional products for my hair. The only thing that she offered is a foam. I used to apply foam in early 2000 when hair care industry was not so developed and advanced …🤣she apologised and said that their salon don’t have any product for hair. Excuse me what’s a point for customer to come to your salon with nice design and quite expensive cheque ( that was 170 dhs ) if there is no professional items in service you offer. This salon posses itself as express salon and most people come for blow dry, nails care, I can make better blow dry with professional hair care products at home… anyhow girl that made my hair was trying to please me…consider my experience as waisted money… thank you 🙏

Its been a while since Ive last cut my hair so naturally I decided it was time for a trim to change things up a bit. This was my first experience at this salon and personally I was reluctant at first because of the price but it was definitely worth it. Right off the bat the staff greet you nicely and there wasnt much of a waiting time at all. My hairdresser did a wonderful job in styling my hair that not only suited my face shape but also my hair type, and it only took 30 minutes! Will definitely come here more often!

The WORST customer service in any salon Ive been to! Receptionist is never able to book the exact services requested or with specialists requested. Theres always an issue if we run 5-10min late but if I can to say that Ill be 10min late, they force you to reschedule! If this was the 1st time this has happened, I would not complain or write this review but this its going on constantly. If the salon Manager is not there to handle simple scheduling tasks, you should not expect your appointment to be without a drama of some kind. Technicians are all great but the organisation is a disaster! After 6yrs at this salon, this is our last, its just not worth the stress anymore. Salon services should be relaxing, not a stressful experience every time.

We always go to the Loft in Shurouq, mirdif. We are regulars there with Umaima. She is one of the nicest and most qualified hair dressers I have met! She regularly cuts my hair, my moms hair and my sister’s. I even went the other day and tried their protein treatment. They were very flexible and gave me a very good deal for the treatment and the hair styling. We even tried them once where we took our own hair dye and they applied it for us. The place is really clean, the staff is easy to speak with and professional. We even tried their manicure and pedicure services. They were reasonable and efficient. I would recommend Umaima for any lady looking for a new a look to rule her day!

I did hard jel manicure 3 weeks back and I paid 350 for it and now when am removing it I saw my nails are full of fungus it’s horrible and I never had this before, horrible it’s seems that the product is bad or the technician didn’t know how to do it am very disappointed

I love the nails salon! All of them are very professional. However the hair dresser there I think noha or huda is extremely bad !She doesn’t know how to do hair . Last time I went I asked her for curly hair and she ended up making my hair flat with a few curls in the end. I sent my mom there today and she ended up finishing her blow dry within 5 mins and it got ruined the moment she went out.Not worth the money for the hairdresser at all. I can do a better job

I have tried many salons in the last 6 years I have been in Dubai but I must say I love the Loft in Shorooq! Not only is it conveniently located in Mirdif but the Staff are amazing, professional and always welcome you with a smile. I adore their manis and pedis, waxing services and even have my hair cut there! I love how they will go out of their way to accommodate me even if I take a last min appointment and that’s what distinguishes them from the other salons! Well done to the whole team and keep it up! 👏🏼

They are not professional, yesterday i had appointment at 8 pm n i was late for 15 mins . They called me n told that they have to cancel my appointment even i told them that i m there , I accept bcs it was my mistake n i was late , i booked appointment for next day 12 pm , i went there on time but they told me i have to wait for 30 mins bcs she had other customer ,before that she canr start , even they were arguing in front of me , i have work n other things to do i cant waste my time waiting, they cant arrange the timing .1 month ago i did manicure gel n it came off 2 nd day. I dont like the lady who does hair color , she was insisting that she cant do it , she was nor polite , i live in shorooq n i will never go there anymore.

A bit overpriced for the mani/padi, and I can’t say I was super happy with their hair-coloring.However, I am awarding it 4 stars for their hairstylist, Omaya: She gives the best haircuts *especially* for those with fine hair!You’ll come out feeing like a movie star!

It’s my favourite salon to go to do your nails . All the staff are amazing

Do not come to this place for fringes/bangs. I asked for a wispy thin fringe (with a photo example I showed her) and ended up with a thick uneven fringe that looked nothing like the picture. I didn’t even get a chance to tell her to cut it thinner as she cut it quickly without warning, giving me no time to adjust what i wanted it to look like, it was rushed. Luckily I can conceal it with certain hairstyles so it doesn’t look like I have a fringe, but I now have to wait 2 years for it to grow out so I can look alright again. Would not recommend, im embarrassed with my hair. The nails were nice, though.

I’m coming to the salon 25 of march to make pedicure,then I decided to make manicure as well,I have nail extensions and I asked girl to buff my nail to apply polish to my nail,explained all what I need,she made manicure and ready to apply polish without buff,when I tell why you want apply directly it will look ugly,she’s tell that she don’t know how to do it,then manager come to check what’s happening and tell that she’s sorry that girl don’t know how to do it and I start to make my nail by myself,same I’m at home,not in salon,then same manager ask me to send other girl to cover the situation,when girl finished with first hand manager comes to me and tell me that I have to pay for this,what’s the cheating,first girl was unprofessional and don’t know how to buff nails and also she want charge me for this mistake,what’s the service,I’m second time in this salon and planned to come regularly,coz I’m I’m staying in shorooq mirdif,but now I will complain for this service in google and Fb black list UAE,coz so bad they make and finally all leave me with ugly nail and now I don’t have quite extensions what I has,very rude girls and service.

The worst!My wife went there. Super dirty, overpriced, bad quality my nails broke within 1 day. And the jell nail polish came off within 24 hours. I had to go back 3 times within the first week. Dont go there!!!!

Every time I do my hair, I regret itMy hairstyle was ruined and ruined. An hour before I got to my party, I tried on two different girls. I didnt like it at all.This is the second time and I wont do it againZero experience with hairstyles and the two girls I tried with hairstyles have a way of talking in a sarcastic way that belittles you and your thinking, and by belittling it here it is not right to tell you because your hair is not helpful. The worst experience I had with my hair in this salon.We are only willing to work together to be honest
