Vanilla Glow Beauty Salon

I am disappointed with my experience at this salon, and first and foremost I want a recolour of my hair.I’d like to address several areas that require improvement:1. Hair Color: I specifically requested a warm brown hair color after consulting with the hairdresser, yet the result was a red shade that I never agreed to. Upon expressing my disappointment, the hairdresser admitted she had chosen from the red section of the color chart, which I never approved. She reassured me that the red would eventually wash out but advised me to dry my hair quickly and avoid wearing certain colors to prevent transfer. This has caused significant inconvenience for something I didn’t ask for. Despite washing my hair thoroughly, the red remains visible (see attached photo). This is not the hair colour that I wanted for my birthday, which is what I booked the service for.2. Nail Extensions: Two technicians worked on my acrylic extensions, resulting in inconsistent finishes on each hand. One hand shows an uneven application, with visible dark pink or gray patches due to how the product was applied.3. Pricing Transparency: The salon lacks a visible price list, leaving me uncertain about additional costs, such as for nail designs. On Instagram, I was informed that a haircut would cost 80 AED extra, but I wasn’t informed that adding layers would incur an additional fee until the end. Clear communication about pricing beforehand is essential.4. Product Safety: I noticed the powder used for nails had a warning label indicating it may cause cancer. This is concerning, as clients should not be exposed to such products. Additionally, the technicians were not wearing protective masks, which I’ve seen as standard practice in other salons to minimize exposure risks.5. Feeling Rushed: I felt hurried between the nail and hair stations, with some nail treatments being completed in the hairdresser’s chair. The staff should better coordinate appointments to ensure each treatment is performed in its proper setting without rushing clients.6. Drinks and Comfort: While I was promptly offered a drink upon arrival, I was in the salon for nearly four hours and wasn’t offered another drink after my nails were done, even though my hands were free during the pedicure and hair treatments.7. Positive Feedback: I want to acknowledge that the pedicure service was excellent, and the initial offer of a drink was a nice touch.I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that these issues can be addressed, and future clients can have a better experience.

The best salon I have been too. Anita has a regular customer from now on. The best haircut I have done so far in my life.

I recently got my hair colored by Sumaira, and she did an amazing job! The way she blended the colors was perfect, giving me a beautiful and natural look. I had a blow dry along with slight curls from the middle of my hair until below. The curls stayed for 2 days and looked very nice. Loved the service! Anita is amazing as well!

Anita did a very good job on my hair, she took time to analyse my hair and determined what was best for me! I ended up getting colour correction/wash/cut & blow dry. I would highly recommend- plus all the ladies at the salon were very welcoming and attentive!

Had a wonderful experience today at Vanilla Glow Beauty Salon! I initially made an appointment for a gellak pedicure and at the salon I inquired for a keratin treatment. They were so accommodating and flexible to ensure both treatments could be done. Kim and Anita did an amazing job, thank you so much for the great quality and enjoyable experience!

After looking months for a good hair dresser we finally found something suitable for my wife. They really care about the customer and give very good advice. VERY BAD experience I feel like I waste my time and put my money on air. The most HORRIBLE pedicure in my life. I was here 2 time, first time was not good but okay, but second time how you can see. They told me, we can give you discount 20 aed or trying to fix empty places without gel. So in conclusion, NO RECOMMEND. Go only to European salon girls.

Never going back!Yesterday I decided to go to this salon to find out what services and prices they have. There was a Filipino woman sitting at the reception, when I came in and said “hello”, she didnt even look up, she was on the phone, then I said “hello” again, and she continued to sit like that. She acted like I wasnt there. Then I turned around and left. A terrible impression of this salon

The masters are very attentive and polite, it was a pleasure to sit there. While I was doing my nails, I saw how one girl’s hair was beautifully dyed, next time I want to do the same dyeing!In a word, I’m happy with the service and the quality of work too!
