Andrea, his work is pure art! I mean I got my hair cut after 3 years and he just knew what exactly i needed to get just by looking at my hair. One of the best in town (Dubai) definitely a must visit if you’re looking for a fresh refreshed look, he is your guy! He styled my hair too right after with beach waves, highly recommended ladies!

From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Will absolutely recommend. Thank you for the fantastic service and the lovely conversation :)So after closer examining my hair (I made the review in the salon before exiting the salon) I see that over 50% of the ends of my hair are so destroyed that I need a hair cut again, completely burnt - just had one 4 weeks ago. This is for me deeply upsetting.Also after around 24 hours my nail polish has chipped off from two nails and that evening I worse closed toe heels which destroyed my pedicure … the salon is wonderful but for me the quality is, after a closer observation, not good enough to return.

Great experience getting a blow dry for my birthday! The hair washing station chairs were also massage chairs and the interior was stunning. Lara also did a wonderful job with my hair and I left feeling great - will definitely be back again!

The salon is so beautiful ! Walked in & they have a nice counter that has a dj booth and a counter where they make tea coffee! One of the staff offered me tea and started my hair treatment right on time! One of the staff Masha is really great, she did my hair and I absolutely loved it! The chair also gently massages your back while they wash your hair which is very relaxing. Amazing salon with professional people who know what they are doing!

Your master Diana took 630 dirhams for removing the old material and a new manicure with a coating and a pedicure, (although the price list says 190 AED for a manicure with a coating and 190 AED for a pedicure with a coating) from the design there was a mother-of-pearl rub and that’s it ... she didn’t give me a foot pedicure, because she said that she didn’t have enough time for this, but she took the money for the entire cost of a coated pedicure, saying, well, you are signed up for a full procedure, otherwise the fact that she didn’t have enough time is probably my problem? this is the policy of the salon Y12 ..... On the same evening, I discovered that the coating on my legs began to swell, I informed the salon administrator about this - that the coating was bad and that they didn’t give me a pedicure, the administrator answered me ok and forgot and didn’t write me ! After 4 days I wrote this review - Unprofessional work of a manicure and pedicure master, fraud in the cost of work and the administrators disregard for customers …when I wrote 4 days later to the salon - thank you very much for not taking care of your customers so much, and that I will write a review as the master and administrator asked me, only then they answered me that you can sign up for a manicure and pedicure, but the desire to go This salon doesnt have that kind of attitude anymore….in the photo you can see all the work of the master, almost every finger is poorly done

So it is my friends birthday, and we decided to walk in for a free consultation for him today. We thought at first it would go great since everything about the salon seemed appealing. Then the hairdresser came and honestly we had many questions, maybe it was due to a language barrier but she was very vague in explaining what the best haircut for his hair would be. Keep in mind my friend is very experienced with his hair and have been getting it cut in Australia literally every two weeks. What he gathered from the hairdresser (or stylist, or whatever you want to call her) was that she wasn’t going to cut a lot. The first red flag was when she said, ‘It will always grow back.’ Before even starting to trim. Yet somehow, he ended up with the worst trim of his entire life. It was truly traumatizing. Sadly I left the salon and I wasn’t there but due to his social anxiety and shock, he told her he loved it, but he wasn’t processing anything. his head looks wrong in many ways, and now he just want to get a buzz cut at this point. A barber from the trenches could do a better job than them for 20 dirhams. And oh, he spent 360 AED, but at what cost? Never again.One more thing to add, the staff seemed so judgmental except for the barista guy, he was the most adorable and welcoming.

I’ve been passing by Y12 for the past few months and planning to go in. I finally did this week and I’m so glad I did. The interiors are lovely and there is such a nice vibe. Amer was my hairstylist and he was simply amazing! I don’t rave much about hair stylists, but it was really such a good experience: he was kind, interesting and engaging but not at all overbearing. The experience was both fun and relaxing. He helped get rid of the red tinge in my hair, and gave me a beautiful trim. He was knowledgeable and really knew how to treat my hair. I’ve been going to Y12 for almost 10 years now. They’re definitely one of the best salons - if not THE best in Dubai. Amazing team, can’t really go wrong with any of the stylists. I always go with Giampiero but I have tried others when he’s not available and everyone is really skilled and I was always satisfied. They’re now a sustainable salon and they have high quality vegan products with barely or no chemicals. The place itself is really nicely designed and always have good vibe. From the moment you make your reservations until you leave, the service is always warm and professional. Aside from the hair services, their nail care service is amazing as well. They have a private room for mani pedi which is definitely unique and feels first class. My go to salon in Dubai!

Ive been spending several months a year in Dubai for almost 20 years now and this is unarguably my favourite Dubai hair salon. Lara colours my hair to perfection every time and always remembers what is important to me (the strong head massage!). The team is genuinely warm and friendly, the salon is clean and modern, so a pleasure to visit (located in the corner of the ICD Brookfield Building, DIFC). This is Dubai at its finest.

I visited Y-12 this past Thursday for the first time. I had my hair done by Maximilian. The experience was outstanding. He first greeted me and asked me the reasons for my visit to understand what I was interested in getting done before he started working on my hair. Which I really appreciated. He was very polite, warm and professional. In addition, I asked him for a consult regarding my hair color and he was happy to spend time explaining what could be done ( even though I was not getting that service the same day). The blow dry he did was amazing !! I can’t wait for another appointment with him next time I am in town. In regards to the salon, it is very clean and their staff is very helpful.

I had shoulder length hair.Masha gave me an attentive consultation and told me some very interesting points about structuring my haircut to balance my face. Then the lady who washed my hair was very careful with my fragile hair - I really appreciated this care very much. Many other salons dont understand this issue with sensitive hair and scalp.Masha cut my hair in much shorter style that I absolutely love!! I am so happy with the result.Also! Y12 itself is an awesome salon. The architecture of the building in DIFC is gorgeous, they filter the water, use sustainable products and have a Live DJ. The staff were all charming and attentive. They just moved to a new location which is much more spacious. Beautiful decor and amazing view. Of course, not to mention perfection in hair coloring and I love the haircuts I get that gives my hair a beautiful fullness. Just wish they wouldn’t cut as much so if the length of your hair is important to you make sure to be clear. They also have amazing variety of product definitely worth trying out. It’s amazing how one product will change the texture of your hair and sadly we get stuck on the same product we have been using for years. Not to mention, if you’re not happy with the color or cut they will make sure to change it until you are happy, not like other salons they try to convince you that this color suits you better.

For some reason it took me ages to decide to do the keratin treatment to my hair. If I could go back in time I’d do it sooner and I would always choose Giorgia! She gave a new life to my damaged hair! She took care of every single detail, from the scalp massage to the finishing style! She also offered me coffee and tea. In the meantime Michela meticulously did the manicure. Most of all, both of them made me feel cuddled for the entire time, while also having a good chat and a laugh :) In short, awesome place, great staff, super professional…you won’t regret it!

Its hard when you travel lots for work to keep the high standard, but with Y12 theres absolutely nothing to be worried about! I always book with Max. And he truly is so much so I travel from London to do my hair, and everyone comments on it. I feel so lucky to have found him. He’s so kind and not only the best hairdresser but the best make up artist I’ve ever had. Someone once came up to me when I left the salon and said ‘you look like you’ve just walked out of a vogue magazine’ 😆 felt great. I always go to y12 and I won’t change them for anybody else! Apart from the very nice location in the ritz Carlton in DIFC which I really like, the salon, the staff and the products are amazing! My stylist is Massimiliano and he’s absolutely the best! He brings here the real Italian quality and style. My hair was very long, and with him I took the hard decision to go short, and that’s all thanks to his suggestions and consultations, and didn’t regret it not even one minute. If I go just for a blow dry, he’s always keeping an eye on my color, on the haircut. That proves a very professional attitude and a brilliant customer care, and he really knows what he’s doing! If I could give seven stars or more for Y-12 and Luca I would. Luca is a master at making you look and feel your absolute best. He is genuinely interested in how you want to look and feel. He asks lots of questions and then he makes suggestions based on what you want and your hair type. Luca worked his magic on my thin frizzy hair, he cut it so that my hair looks fantastic blown dried straight or left to dry naturally curly. The secret apart from his cut is that he recommends the right products and how to style the cut. I am now able to keep the natural curl (not a frizzy mess) for more than a day. My hair looks and feels the best it has been since I moved from Europe to the Middle East eight years ago.I also have to say the whole team at Y12 are also lovely, they are always welcoming, making you feel comfortable and the fully reclining chairs at the sinks are incredible!So thank you Luca and team I love coming to your salon and I absolutely love love love the way my hair looks.Nadine

I first visited Y12 salon at the Ritz Carlton DIFC in April of 2018. I booked a haircut appointment with Luca, the co-founder. The first thing he told me was that he has given clear instructions to the reception staff to not take bookings with him. He explained how he was busy with the other branch opening and other aspects of the business. Obviously, this is not a friendly way to speak to a new client or any client. After this awkward experience, I decided to not go back. Then a friend of mine suggested that I give them another shot as she likes their work. So sometime in 2019, I booked a haircut with Yuliia. She didnt listen to my clear request of getting a haircut that doesnt require regular blow drying (I have curly hair). And proceeded to give a haircut that she thought was suitable and asked me to blow dry my hair straight after each wash.I later went back once or twice and had my hair colored and cut by another stylist. He was OK but what happened on that visit was not acceptable. It was early December 2019 and when the assistant went to wash my hair, I ended up spending 45 minutes at the sink! this was because the stylist who had cut and colored my hair was now busy styling another clients hair. So, in the meantime, the assistant gave me an extended scalp massage session until my stylist was available to continue with my styling! to add to this, another assistant came to the washing sink and they both started talking about how I get to enjoy a long massage. They were speaking directly to me and were being sarcastic. Is this behavior acceptable or professional? of course not. Its actually extremely disrespectful and offensive. Needless to say, I ended up spending around three hours at the salon on that day. So if you have plenty of time on your hands and dont mind being disrespected and treated with a sense of inferiority and arrogance, then this is the salon for you. Im thankful for my friend who suggested that I give them another chance, because she helped me navigate a pattern and practice setting strong boundaries. By choosing to not go back, Im clearing old energy and patterns for myself and attracting new, healthy people and situations into my life and reality. Thank you Y12 for helping me get there.

Nice salon but was not happy with my haircolor done by Milad. I wanted to refresh my lights and add some more as my hair still had old lights on. He kept the bleach same amount of time on the colored and not colored portion resulting on two different color on my hair. Also my hair got very very dry after a week and had to get a full hair cut😔😔.
