It was my first time to go to 1847 salon today and it was indeed a great experience! I got a chair the minute I arrived, my barber was Sultan (arab barber from Syria probably), he really paid attention to my request and was making sure that everything is going to my liking. He even noticed that I was a bit sweating so he got me a wet cold towel and put it on my head and face for a minute to cool down, that was a great move honestly 😁 I only had a hair cut and beard trim, but they have multiple other services like waxing and massage and facials and manicure and pedicure, I would mostly come back and try other services the next time. Not all barbers are Arabs in case you prefer non-arab barber. The lady outside welcomed me in a very nice way with a big beautiful smile which is important especially that it was my first time coming and it was not planned at all. Highly recommend if you are looking for a stylish and quiet salon when in Dubai Hills mall, keep it up!

Visited 1847 Grooming for Men at Dubai Hills Mall for their Grey–Charcoal Detox Facial, expecting a thorough 75-minute skin treatment as described. The facility was clean and welcoming, but the service didnt meet expectations. Instead of the expected deep skin cleansing using specialized tools (as experienced before at other skincare centers), the session focused mainly on applying mask, creams and serums, coupled with an unexpected 20+ min body massage and maybe 15+ min to remove the mask :O.Post-treatment, my skin suffered from breakouts, indicating possible issues with sterilization or technique. While the ambiance and staff were pleasant, the core facial service was underwhelming and led to skin problems. Disappointing experience given the premium price.

After a good experience at Emirates towers, I was so pleased to ‘discover the Dubai Hills branch. The reception is five star and the barbers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Though the add ons come at an extra cost, they don’t come as hidden charges but are recommended by the staff. Great place to regain confidence.

I didn’t feel too relaxed after the massage to he honest. Masseuse kept telling me I’m stiff, stressed and tense but massaged the most tense areas the least? Thank you for telling me, what are you gonna do about it since I am paying 400 AED an hour for this?

Then I had the best therapy experience of my life with Charles. He is a magician!!! This was beyond massage...this was deep healing. Long story short: I’ve changed my usual barber due to the very poor services offered by the company.An overall extremely disappointing visit on Sunday. On Saturday, I first checked with 1847 if they offer hair colouring services, to which they said yes (and was even confirmed by their in-branch barber). So that evening I booked for the next afternoon (enough time to prepare the equipment, should a place have to). And so I turn up 10 minutes early (1pm) and go on to wait another 30 for my barber, when my appointment was booked for 1:10pm. Thought nothing of it at this point as that can sometimes happen in any barbershop. Then I go on to start my consultation, only to be asked to “please wait until we find the cap”. I said ok. And then another 30 minutes pass and still, no sign of the equipment required. I then left extremely frustrated as I had just wasted a whole hour of my Sunday sitting in a barber drinking coffee. With much less confidence in their services, seen as they could not find what they needed to do what I had booked for, I would definitely not recommend booking this kind of service with 1847. Luckily, the same day, I managed to find a much more competent barber elsewhere who both coloured, cut and styled my hair and to a much better standard than 1847 (I’ve had haircuts from 1847 in the past, as I thought I had found THE barber to stick with).

Had a Raynor Meridian massage with Charles and it was fantastic. Charles is a very friendly, professional and knowledgeable man, he definitely knows what he is doing. A great strong massage that I would definitely recommend.

This place has to be the mecca of the ultimate man spa, you can get everything g done under one roof. I had the pleasure to have Akkad as my barber and this man knows what he is doing, he is very meticulous in every detail. This is definitely my new go-to.

Masseuse Charles is outstanding. He delivered a 60-minute deep tissue massage and combined his treatment with orthopaedic adjustments, reflexology and a sound knowledge of how to relieve aches and pains. I felt energised after Charles treatment. Will definitely return.

Finally got a good clean thai traditional massage in dubai. Jamie was a very cooperative therapist.

Mirdiff branch remains my favorite but the Dubai Hills branch comes a close second. I tend to go here more that Mirdiff (with me living in Barsha) and I have to say the service is very professional and they never disappoint.
