1847 Grooming for Men Grosvenor House Hotel

I had a fantastic manicure and pedicure service with Shana and Vie. Although this branch may be small, it is truly exceptional. Having visited most of the 1847 branches in Dubai, I can confidently say this is my favourite. The staff is incredibly professional and stands out from the rest.

Came for a pedi.. Unfortunately, they dont do a proper scrub.. Was very minimal.. This was my second time trying them in 2 years.. Cause I thought I would try them again after being disappointed the first time (but they have so many locations, so thought maybe I had bad luck..) but different location, different therapist.. Equally disappointing..

Went for a menicure and left with a bloody hands, yet i paid still although ot was flagged to the receptionist who took a photo and nicely charged me. never again at 1847 ! why bother ask how ot was if u will not act,

My favorite place for any type of grooming services. All of the staff are very friendly, nice, and very professional. The products they use are of high quality. I’ve tried many of their services and I’ve always been happy with them. Try their head and shoulders massage after a haircut :) I go at least once a week, and look forward to it.

Found this place on google maps. Booked an appointment and had a nice pedicure. The ladies who work there are very friendly and professional and the pedicure was very good, albeit on the pricier side.The beard shave however, was very disappointing. The man who did it acts like hes in a rush. Literally finished in less than 2 minutes then asked if I wanted anything else. Better go to any street barber than this one.

Great service, but they changed my bill by hand after I had signed for it. This is an absolute no-go. Its illegal to change signed bills. They knew I was staying at the hotel in the same building and even had my room number. They couldve easily left me a note to explain the situation.The reason for increasing the bill, was because during my session apparently some services costed extra, but they didnt tell me that these would cost extra during the treatment. Yet another faux-pas!Such a shame, as the treatment was great, but the way they handle bills has to change!

I had a great experience. Great back and neck massage, Mani and pedi for 280 aed. Ladies were very nice and the massage was great for me. They do get you in and out pretty quickly but thats not particularly a bad thing. I would probably add a foot massage if I had to do it again.

This Mens salon is my sons preferred hair salon and I get my hair cut there as well now. Chris, is a fantastic hair dresser. I have known him from previous salon in Dubai. He is really gifted as a hair dresser and I can only recommend him. I give this salon 5*.

Not sure what the positive reviews are about. You can have a simple haircut here, but no attention to detail, and certainly no expertise to justify the price.

MK is a phenomenon, one of the best I’ve seen. I drive for 30mins for a haircut which is worth it but It will be great if he can be at a closer location to Dubai Mall.

And to make an appointment is so easy, through their 1847 app. Finding the salon is a bit hard at first, but just get to the hotels elevator and inside it will let you know which floor to go and their sliding door opens with a press of a button on the center of it.

I had no appointment , but both ladies at reception super nice and kind .Lady which did my eyebrows very professional , i was super happy so i decide to hair cut as well .The worst decision of the day .Alex ( barbar ) super unhappy to cut my hair .His attitude make me feel like i should be there and bother him .I asked for skin fate, i received something i can do myself at home . Whole hair cut with wash and style took around 15 min . He asked if is it ok . True , but what should i say , he make me feel so bad about my self that i just say yes so can leave as soon as possible .So unprofessional , and Left with bad hair cut and 120 Aed spent .

Horrible, and ignorant barbers bloody rushed their work with no passion and skills, makes this wonderful salon feel like a rip off! They where defiantly hired from a shanty parlor on the street. Dont waste your DHS 120.Only one solution for 1857. Fire the current barbers and replace them ASAP.
