They advertised a luxurious barber experience that is done with care. Received a rushed experience and a haircut I didn’t ask for. I asked for a low taper and received a high fade where the fade frankly is not faded and the sides of my head have been shaved. I paid 140 dhs and expected the price to reflect the experience. Would rather go to a local 20 dhs spot or get my baby brother to cut my hair. Do not recommend.

I cant recommend this place enough. I was called prior to my appt to remind me of my appt and when I arrived the staff were so welcoming. The ambience was so calming, it was a great experience, I will definitely be back for more. The cut and shave was exactly how I wanted my hair for the winter! Thanks guys! 5*

My hair & facial treatment is done by Wissam. He cut my hair and beard very well, is clean and soft. He is also very helpful, friendly and had great expertise about skincare. He gave me great advices and useful products to improve my skin. For sure I will go back to him.

Deeply disappointed by the quality of service. I asked for a new look; the barber said if I did’t like it, I could come back to get it fixed.Honestly, I wish I fixed it myself, because he just quickly shaved off my beard (in 10 seconds) and acted like I personally offended him ☹️ Like come on man, not cool..

My go-to place for grooming in JBR. Staff is very friendly and so far I was always happy with the treatment (mainly pedicure).Update: Went there again for manicure and pedilogix. Staff was very friendly, but I am only partially happy with the result. The fingernails are not fully smooth and on the feet I still have cuticles and there should have been more cornea taken off on the heels. I acknowledge that I came in late at 9pm, so staff was kind of in a hurry in order to get the bus, but they had the chance to just tell me to come next day in the morning which they didnt...

A good friend of mine got me a voucher for 60 min deep muscle massage, mani and pedicure, facial, shave and hair cut. I was there for 3 amazing hours.Preti, Wissam, Elvie and Ria assisted me. They all were very calm, in control and I always had the impression that they were very experienced.The staff were set on ensuring that I should be very comfortable..... But in just the right way.... You know how some people ask you every 5 min how you are to a point where it gets irritating.... Not here. Its just right and no one overdoes it. It was amazing.Also I really liked the interior. High quality place!!!!

This morning I was fortunate to visit 1874 in JBR on the off chance I could get a pedicure.I ended up getting a first class pedicure from Jackie who was so polite and great at her job.I then decided to try the new facial they were doing and it was fantastic.Mimi who administered the facial was excellent and made me feel so comfortable.I would recommend 1847 to anyone it is a great place very clean and hygienic and I will return again without hesitation.

I use this particular branch of 1847 for almost 8 years by now. Their services are impeccable as always. Unlike many other places, their management has managed not only to maintain the service quality levels but also constantly expanding their product lines! Although, all of their staff are exceptionally well trained, I would particularly recommend Elvie as one of the most professional and attentive Therapists!

I went to this Salon on the day of my younger brother’s wedding to get a haircut, shave and color applied. My barber, brother Ali was absolutely magnificent. He was kind and extremely professional. I asked for a low fade with a trim, shave and also color and brother Ali worked his magic. He gave me the best fade I have received in years with also giving me tips on how to maintain my hair. He kept a very friendly atmosphere with engaging in good conversations while also making my hair flawless. The way he blended everything and applied color was very satisfying. Once he rinsed my hair, it looked very natural and I was more than satisfied with his efforts and really appreciated his time. He also informed me to use specific products for my hair, before and after showering to keep my hair nice and healthy. It was a pleasure getting all the services with Brother Ali and I will definitely go back to him once I visit Dubai again. I came in for a haircut a few days ago and was left disappointed and pushed out with an unfinished cut. Dont get deceived by the high star reviews.I originally picked a basic haircut with the senior barber for a simple haircut.However after meeting him, I was impressed and upgraded to a full/finish haircut, even at twice the cost.The senior barber started off really well, but after 10 mins the front desk came in and told him someone else was waiting.Suddenly, the remaining haircut was massively rushed through and pushed out in 5 mins, from remaining half of the cut to the wash and dry (which was so rushed there was water spilling everywhere).There wasnt even a consultation or discussion which we agreed to do. Ultimately left really let down by the senior barber.In the end, I paid AED 150 for a 15 min job, since the barber started late as well. Even the basic haircut is advertised as 20-25 mins and the full/finish cut at 35 mins, yet I was kicked out because someone else was waiting.This was already well below the 1847 standard I have experience with at the other locations.But today I noticed that the haircut was uneven as well and really poorly shaped.Very very disappointed with the staff at this location and cannot recommend it.

Lovely salon. My hair dresser, however, seemed to have never seen curly hair before in his life. He stretched and tugged and combed my hair while cutting which resulted in it ending up VERY short (over 7 inches were cut off when I asked for 2-4 max). It will take me a very long time to grow it back, and I am very disappointed with the high price I paid only to have my hair ruined for the next few months.

I was expecting it will turn out to be superb but unfortunately I had such a terrible experience with my hair the stylist rahul he spoil the hair to fix into a good texturising he messed up completely he didn’t know how to style the hair. It was not the first time neither the last I go to 1847. This time I took the head, neck and shoulder massage with Heart for a complicated pain in my neck and shoulders. I finished my therapy with the problem solved. Highly recommended for office working people.

I have the best experience walking into 1847 JBR. Starting from the reception where they are extremely friendly and professional until I go for a haircut. I had a haircut with Wissam and he is extremely professional and great at what he does.

Used to love this place until they did an awful job on my sons hair and then proceeded to tell me what I was to have done to mine. Didn’t want to listen to what I wanted and also told me he only had time to do a haircut even though I had booked for haircut and shave (same every time for the past ten times I’d been). I asked for a manager to call me, nobody ever did. Stay away and head to Chaps and Co, much better.

Hello,Ive been a customer for several months but had a bad experience today at 1847 JBR The Walk. My stylist simply had his own vision for my haircut and would not stray from it. In my previous visits he had never cut my hair nor had I seen him at this location. When I sat down he simply asked me, Same as last time? This put me on guard since we had never met. I did not want my cut to be similar and informed him that I was looking for something different. Throughout the cut, I continually asked him to cut my hair shorter on the sides due to the summer heat. I was informed that he was not willing to set a lower fade cut since it would be working with a zero blade. After repeated requests to trim it shorter at the bottom and to blend in the obvious lines, I gave up and simply accepted my haircut fate. At the register, his tactic became obvious as he simply read his next customers information while I waited to pay. I informed the receptionist that I was unhappy with my haircut and didnt plan on returning. This was met with a shrug. Once again, my name is John Hiltz, and my 3:30PM appointment on 15 MAY was very disappointing. Please let me know how you plan on rectifying the situation. I tried to leave this review on their website, but the CONTACT US button no longer is functional. For the price, I could never recommend this place. Once you get over the appealing scent and complimentary water, the services are underwhelming.

Nice spot on JBR main drag. Pricey but it’s JBR so what can you expect. They do a great job pampering clients. This is a high-end legit spot. Professional staff, good service. Private, discrete, wide range of services. They offer the works from hair cut / shave / facials / mani-pedi / massage.. Heavy on the post-procedure product promotion (pushing creams, gels, balms). You’ll blow 1,000 dirham in here easy. Come away relaxed, pampered and greatly relieved of cash.

They try to charge the customer with unwanted extra service. Exemple: clipper haircut + beard (140 aed) becomes scissor + clipper haircut + beard (195 aed).Then they outright lie to you in an attempt to justify their scamming:Mister, you booked for a clipper haircut, which is about completely shaving the head. You obviously wanted a scissor + clipper haircut.Had to argue with the receptionist to not pay for the unwanted service, even after the barber admitted his mistake and asked her not to charge me.

After being customer many years, i called to book an hair cut, the operator told me The hair stylist that you usually use, has been promoted to senior and you have to pay 20AED more, from 125 to 145 AED. Maybe they have too much work and they dont need customers or simply they want earn more money. For sure i will be not anymore their customer, i already found another hair salon and im even more happy. Thank you 1847!

My go-to place for relaxing. I recommend the mani pedi with paraffin wax and to end it with a head,neck, shoulder massage. Its excellent!
