I have been visiting Diva salon for the last 3 months and getting a haircut with Yusuf. He’s a true perfectionist! Has helped treat my dandruff issues and pays good attention to detail.10/10 recommend

I went to Diva gents salon today for a diamond facial, pedicure, manicure and beard tidy up.Whilst having my pedicure, the staff member used the file to file the bottom of my foot but then started filing the bottom half of my leg because he was too busy talking to the other staff. He has really damaged my skin.The bottom half of my leg skin is badly cut and irritated. I have had to go to a pharmacy to get numbing cream. This is a terrible start to my holiday as I cannot go in salt water.

The hair salon is clean and nice, but my experience was a bit disappointing. The barber was on his phone the entire time, checking messages, sending voice notes, and even taking calls, which was really off-putting. He also didnt have a welcoming face, and I didnt feel comfortable with him. Additionally, the place is a bit pricey. I paid 125 for a very simple scissor cut for my hair, beard trim, nose wax, and manicure.

Very bad service and unprofessional stuff (cashier owners and stuff) i did body shaving and pedicure. They were sitting all together laughing at customers (gossip) next to the cashier. About the service it is less than normal.

Ive been coming to this place on and off for the better part of 3 years now. Their barbers are generally pretty good, and Ive gotten some fantastic trims in the past. However, I cannot recommend their nail services at all. Every time Ive had a manicure or pedicure from here, they always cut my nails past the skin which is not the proper way to do it.On my most recent visit, I asked them to remove an ingrown nail which I had on my toe. I believe they managed to remove it, but in the process, they cut the wall between the nail and the skin which youre never supposed to do. On top of that, the equipment they used was not properly sanitized as I now have an infection in the same area. This wouldnt have happened if they applied antibiotic cream after removing the ingrown, a standard procedure which they failed to do or dont know that they are supposed to do.Overall, Id recommend this place for a haircut or beard trim but stay away from the mani/pedi services.

Good experience. Been here about 3 times now. The wait is usually about 2 to 5 minutes. The staff is quite nice and welcoming. I have a pretty simple haircut but they get it done well and fast. Barbers are professional. Prices are good and I would recommend them.

Ive used Diva on a few occasions and was always generally satisfied with my haircut. Its hit and miss who you get assigned and how well your haircut is but last night I decided to go there again for a haircut and a beard trim. I waited for 1 minute before being assigned to an Indian gentleman (forgot what his name was). A few minutes in and the barber tried to sell me an amazing offer for only 100 more for face cream and something for my hair, I didnt quite understand what the product was but he claimed it was good for my head and hair and would reduce dry skin. When I told him I did not want it he was visibly annoyed trying to say this is for my own benefit and hes only doing me a favour etc.The haircut itself is probably one of the worst Ive had. One side of my hair is longer than the other. It looks like hes faded one side of my hair slightly longer than the other. Same with the top of my hair, some parts are longer than the other. You know its a bad haircut when you leave the salon and your hair is all over the place, he didnt even attempt to fix it. Im going to have to go somewhere else today to get it fixed.He did a good job with the beard fade itself, however my neck is stinging, all red and inflamed even 12 hours after the haircut. The machine he used to trim my neck may have been too sharp or not aligned properly as its cut me in multiple places. While he was trimming my beard I was in so much pain I just wanted to leave, I no longer cared about the haircut.Prices have gone up ever so slightly in the past few months but they are still very much affordable (40 for a haircut and 30 for a beard trim).I can only conclude the guy who cut my hair was just starting out and had no real experience. Possibly someone still training. Thats not someone who you want when getting your hair and paying full price.Unfortunately I will no longer go to Diva after this experience.

We go to saloon for our leisure time and get our treatment done thinking it would give us the best experience, tho I had to wait for my beard and hair trim coz I asked for the particular barber. At the time of entrance I specifically told I need a pedicure, hair and beard trim. The manager escorted me to get the beard and the hair trimmed done. After finishing my beard and hair trim I walked on the elevated first floor where they have other professionals to get your pedicure done. Waited there for half an hour keeping in mind that I would definitely get preference coz I was in their saloon from past an hour and half. One of the Filipino professional came to me and ask what I am waiting for. I spoke to him that I am waiting for my pedicure. On the time when I stood up from the waiting area above. I heard a voice from one of the other Filipino professional who was already attending someone with his treatment and said this guy is not first take the other guy before him. I don’t understand if I was there in their saloon from an hour and above and requested of my pedi course before even there were few people in the saloon then from where did the person who came after me has been given priority before me. I guess this calls for an end going to Diva saloon.The filipino professional are just not aware of which customer is waiting for long and giving preference for others who may be giving them tips above the regular charge what the saloon offers. I myself greet my professional with tips if I like their work. But this is something serious where people don’t have whole day to spend in the saloon waiting and other customers are preferred breaking the que and get treated.The manager was so kind and apologized to me. But I felt little left out when I am paying for my saloon services. I quietly paid my bills and walked out of saloon.Please train your 1st floor staffs of how to follow the line and which guest is waiting for hours for their treatment.Let manager take calls and not the down the level staffs. Thank you.

I have used them for 1.5 years now twice a month, as I live in the adjacent building. Lately the waiting time has been averaging 1 hour plus. They make you wait and when its your turn, they will give it to other customers of certain nationalities. Naturally I said my goodbyes promptly!

Had a good fade place was very big and finished really fast

The salon seems clean, well received, the hairdresser was quite young with an average level, the tools used were not professional, which does not give a good impression.The performance was acceptable, the cut was not perfect with some faults, the neck, the fade was not of high quality. The shampoo was quite expeditious, quickly sloppy.The price is really good 70 AED for the cut and the beard its very correct compared to the scammers in other salons.I recommend this hairdresser, its not extraordinary but quite acceptable.

The Philippine barbers are terrible! They don’t know how to follow client’s instructions. They just cut the same style as they want. They look down in customer and literally talk trash about client in their language when we complain during the cut. I’ve cut here 6 times total with 2 Philippine barbers. For first 2 time, first barber ruin my hair but I tolerated and changed the barber for next visit but the new barber wasn’t any better. As it wasn’t too bad I tolerated and visited for 4th time but this time I explained to him carefully as I thought he doesn’t understand my English. During the cut I advise him not to cut too short but he literally ignore me and talk about me with his friend(another Philippine barber beside) in their language. Even though I don’t understand their language I know they’re talking about me though their gesture. With haircut I can tolerate but I can’t tolerate their attitude! Very unprofessional and very rude.

The staff is very irritating. They always try to sell you hair spa and all. Will keep on criticising your hair. Uses cheap and local products. The staff sometimes denies if they know you are there only for beard trim and haircut.

WORST PLACE IN DUBAI ! Haircut done by roadside people. Had worst haircut of my life. Super unprofessional.No one speaks English so they will do a haircut as per their mood without understanding customer. They simply took cheap staff from roadside.

So have visited this place for the 4th time now since i relocated to dubai a few months ago. my first and second encounter was okay though i noticed a little bit of segregation , were they serve you after other nationalities whether you came first or not. I turned a blind eye thinking its probably nothing to worry about its just one of those days.My third encounter was awful , they gave me an indian intern who didnt exactly know how to handle the clipper, and right before he started ,he spent at least 5 minutes on his phone while i waited for him and i was in a rush, he later trashed my hair and i lodge a complaint to the manager i think his name is Hashmi or something which i got to know today because i went to get a haircut again. I reached Diva around 1523 and there was quite an amount of people in front of me .i sat there and all people in front of me were done , and later came 4 more people which he (The manager) took first as priority and around 1612 he came and asked me if i needed a haircut. Funny enough he recognized me from last time since i lodge a complaint and he gave me an empty seat , i waited for the barber to come for at least 4 minutes and he gave me again the same indian guy who trashed my hair the last time. I sent the barber back and Hashmi came and told me i am much of a stylist and we can not do that here. Its uncanny because i only needed a fade just like every other person in the shop. I asked him if i can leave and after spending at least an hour in there i didnt get the hair cut. I am raising awareness to the people of color or any other minority race here in dubai. There is a lot of racism going on and im sure they prioritise people according to the tips you give after , but taking into account there is a fee that everyone pays and all people should be treated equal. i do not need to be treated like a vip but atleast serve me in time, carter for my needs and give me a haircut worth what im paying for. I hope this review helps one or two people. I urge people to be open minded and welcome any guest that come into the workplace despite they color,race and or ethnicity and stop classifying people. Racism is a crime and should be treated as such. i had a horrible experience and it affected me mentally.

The price is great for the location. The haircut is decent but they assign you barbers according to your ethnicity/colour and do not ask you if you have any preference. This is quite annoying.

Decided to go here since Ive been a regular customer at the Satwa branch for over a decade and also since I live close here and they just opened up a year ago. Probably gone here 7 times in total and out of the 7 times, 5 have been frustrating. Very unlike the Satwa branch where I generally leave as a happy customer. Long waiting queues, but theyre nice enough to offer coffeee while you wait, however people sometimes get to cut ahead of you which is disrespectful and frustrating given the long waiting time. After you get to the barber they tend to speed through their job and barely pay attention to what you asked for since they have a long line of customers to attend to. Which makes you even more frustrated considering the amount of time you spent in total. The last time I visited the hair wash basins were busy so my the barber asked me to stand over the closed off sink (for social distancing) while he washed my hair. Needs the kind of management the Satwa branch has I guess. Still a 3 star only out of respect to the Satwa branch. I dont think Ill be returning here for a while.

A new Diva Salon branch. The salon is well designed but the stylists are unprofessional. I went for beard trimming and while trimming my hair , he wounded my ear lobe without realizing the damage done. When I tried to explain in pain anguish he could not understand , until he saw blood dripping from my ear.

I’ve been a regular costumer of this salon for 2 years and half, last week i went there as every week without appointment, and i had no problem to wait , while i was sitting in the waiting area, one of my colleagues came suddenly without appointment too but the manager of the salon gave him a place after 5min , i was really pised of , but I decided to wait , then another guy came with a rollex in his hand and he gave him a place directly, i finished one hour the manager every 2min comes to me only 2 min i will give u a barber , 15 min passed nothing changed and i left after 1:15min and i will never ever come back
